While Jobber helps with basic scheduling and client management, there are some limitations. Clients on recurring plans cannot leave tips for technicians. Reports are incomplete, and to gather all the information needed for taxes, multiple reports must be run. The main reason I switched to Jobber was that it respects the permissions I set for my technicians. My previous CRM didn’t do this, which caused issues with managing access and responsibilities. I wouldn't call it a dislike, but it did take us some time to let go of our old habits. For me, not relying on at least five spreadsheets was a completely new experience. I'm going to have to say the price, it comes in at double or more than most other routing softwares, but I haven't found anything else as good as it so I'm sticking with tried and true. Anytime I have tried a cheaper routing software it's just as optimized, and time is money, so the lost time and money in inefficient routes keeps me going back to Optimoroute. The biggest problem solved is knowing when and where our inspectors are throughout the day and their route. If I haven't heard back from an inspector and I don't see them on route then I know I need to get that work reassigned and I can do that early and reliably since I have confirmation from Optimoroute regarding where they are or aren't.
