**What do you like best about Field Nation?**

Field Nation provides quick access to a plethora of trained professionals that allows companies like ours to expand our footprint to nationwide status in support of our customers. Customers like the option of having a single source vendor to reach out to in a time of need.

**What do you dislike about Field Nation?**

I really do not have any complaints about Field Nation. I have only had one issue where I had to go to support since the provider we selected replaced himself with an alternate who had a much lower rating but I called support and we resolved it quickly.

**What problems is Field Nation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have customers who have planned and unplanned events that require talent in areas where they do not have a physical presence. The planned events are easy as we have the time to source, vet and engage a Field Nation professional with time to plan, communicate and execute. The unplanned events are where it gets interesting and having access to the expansive network of technicians allows us to become the hero. For example, this past Sunday I received a call from one of my customers that they needed remote hands support for a Fortinet upgrade that had not been successful and in one hour I had engaged a Field Nation technician who arrived on site Monday morning at 9AM CST and by 10AM, the issue was resolved and my customer and theirs were completely satisfied. Field Nation allows us to resolves these issues without having to fly anyone to the customer site which minimizes the cost of doing business quickly, efficiently and effectively.

**What do you like best about Field Nation?**

I appreciate the amount of technicians available on Field Nation, which allows us to quickly find qualified and capable technicians across a wide area, including the entire US. The almost immediate response to our company when there are any issues is also very valuable. The support desk agents are quick to reply and communicate, helping us solve issues swiftly. Additionally, having multiple immediate ways to get in touch with a technician if something starts to go south makes the process efficient.

Maybe some UI changes on the website, but personally I haven't had any issues worth noting.

I like the fact that there are a lot of features that allow me to find the best resource and availability for each technician and site. One of the features I enjoy is the market smart insights, where I can see the entire map and locate technicians by filtering their skills and certifications. It makes the search process very straightforward and efficient. Additionally, I find that the initial setup was pretty easy because the software has a tour for new users that clearly explains everything, making it user-friendly.

There are certain things that can be improved, like the way that Field Nation screens their technicians. Some technicians don't perform well, so it's important to check reviews on each individual person from their previous jobs to verify if they can actually perform on a job site.

Sometimes Field Nation work orders are approved accidentally, and there is no straightforward way to correct these approvals with relevant correction information and charges. This creates an issue that ideally should be addressed with a corrective option. Additionally, there is a lack of notifications for work orders that are overdue by 2 to 3 days, which can cause SLAs to be missed and negatively impact the process of approving work orders and releasing payments.

I have been using Field Nation for about ten years, primarily for services in my local area and most of Canada, and I am genuinely amazed by their professional service. One of the standout aspects of Field Nation is their quick response to disputes and issues, especially concerning amounts, taxes, and parking, which they handle efficiently and resolve promptly. This kind of reliability and support in a busy environment is invaluable. I find the user interface and their mobile-friendly app particularly useful and easy to navigate, which greatly enhances my overall experience. Setting up the service was straightforward and not at all difficult, which I appreciate as it saves me time and makes using the platform much more accessible. Additionally, Field Nation has a vast client base, enabling me to find more clients compared to other vendors, which is a significant benefit. We use FieldNation on a daily basis, and it has quickly become an essential part of our workflow. As someone still relatively new to the platform, I’ve found it incredibly easy to use—even as a beginner. One of the things I value most is how seamlessly it integrates with our Autotask services, allowing us to manage everything in one centralized, streamlined system.

The platform gives us the flexibility to implement anything we need to support our internal processes, which has made day-to-day operations much smoother. Whether we’re posting jobs or locating techs across the globe, FieldNation allows us to move quickly and confidently.

Overall, it’s a reliable, user-friendly tool that adapts well to our needs—and I highly recommend it to teams looking to simplify and scale their field service management.

**What do you dislike about Field Nation?**

At this time, I can't say there's anything I truly dislike about FieldNation. However, if I could suggest one improvement, it would be allowing super admins to add employees directly—without needing to go through a middleman or customer support—especially when urgent issues arise with logins or third-party integrations like Autotask. When emergency tickets come in, every minute counts, and waiting on support slows things down.

Field Nation helps our business find technicians all over the US and Canada to perform repairs on our products. Without this availability, we would not be able to provide such a wide location range to our customers. The platform is used by our company every day and is very user friendly. Customer support is outstanding. Most reported issues are resolved within a day or two.

**What do you dislike about Field Nation?**

It is not always easy finding a tech in some rural areas of the US. Some technicians are less experienced and occasionally you have to take a chance that the tech you hire will be professional, knowledgeable and willing to learn how to repair our products from video tutorials provided. Not all providers on Field Nation have these traits and most just need experience, which we are willing to provide.

Field Nations has saved me a tremendous amount of time vetting a new contractor in a new city. It's important to me that when a provider is on a job site, they are representing my company.

As a reseller,  I'm used to no sales tax when I purchase, and my customers end up paying sales tax 3 times for the same materials.

While you can work with it by yourself and barely need any contact with their customer service, they will still be available whenever needed.

I had not had the need to use it or integrate it with other apps, so I couldn't tell you, but my experience with paying them (and getting my money back if needed) has been more than easy.

I can use it on a project or daily basis if needed; it has the option to mark if the request is a "revisit" which can give some context to the technicians as well.

In general, I trust it implicitly with my projects and clients when I work remotely.

It has several options that may seem overwhelming at first, but once you read through them, you understand what they are and whether you'll benefit from them or not!

Whenever mmy technicians are not available for the rare cases of onsite emergencies, I run to Fieldnation sure that it will connect me with skilled technicians in whichever area I need. Basically a marketplace but for freelance IT services.

I appreciate the feature that allows work orders to be routed to specific ICs after reviewing their work history and ratings. This makes it easier to assign tasks to the most suitable individuals based on their past performance.

The work order webpage can be frustrating because sometimes, after entering information into the fields, I have to re-enter it again. This issue is especially noticeable in the address section of the work orders, where I often find myself inputting the same details more than once.

I owuld like to see Field Nation do more to grade the caliber of technicians. Maybe having tests to show the tech has the knowledge. Maybe have "classes" so the tech can gain knowledge and they all have atleast a unified basic knowledge of things.

**What do you like best about Field Nation?**

I've used Field Nation on a daily basis for about a year and have found their support staff to be very responsive. I like that their portal has  number of different ways to sort and filter when searching for service providers anywhere in the U.S. It allows service providers to upload photos of jobs as they're in progress and when complete. I also like that historical data is saved for completed jobs in case I need to refer back to to it.

**What do you dislike about Field Nation?**

I don't know that it's a downside, but I wish the dispute process was more user-friendly. For instance, the ability to approve payment of the original contracted amount, while placing any additional amounts on-hold for review would allow faster payment to providers.

The expansive technician network with ratings and qualification has been a great asset. Also the ability to reach out to the technicians by messaging helps the vetting process.  I have found several technicians that fit our requirements and have started our technician pool. The service and implementation have been a good experience.

So far gathering monthly report has been challenging however I have been able to provide our accounting personnel with the item that were needed.

I like that you can post a job and easily find a tech to work on it. The templates are very nice because it makes it so easy to post a reoccurring job. You do have to be very detailed in the work orders but the templates help you do that!

Sometimes the techs act like they know what is going on but then will go on site and make suggestions that do not align with the industry. You really have to vett the techs and ensure you are sending the right person.

The team that we work with at Field Nation has been terrific and allowed for us to quickly start and provide value for our clients. We have used them for multiple projects from a new office buildout in Phoenix to cabling in Worcester. We were able to find background checked and vetted technicians across the country to allow for our team to provide services to our clients and expand our capabilities for our clientele. The website is extremely easy to use and setting up a work order and finding skilled technicians was done quickly. Work was done professionally and at a better rate than if we went direct to local sources.

They also have great support to help during the learning process.

I understand why they take a % of the money paid to the Tech, but I don't underestand why they take a % of the cost of the equipment the Tech is asked to provide for the job.

Field Nation has resources throughout all of the states and makes finding a local technical resource quick and easy.  With the availability of these resources, we can quickly deploy a field tech to any site throughout the states without travel expenses or time lost.  The platform is easy to use and gives the user the opportunity to vet the local resource by looking at historical data as well as technical accumen.

Not all technical resources on the site match the resume and technical abilities that they list on their profile.  There is no way for Field Nation to verify the information the technician posts, so this is not a Field Nation problem, but it can cause some issues in the field when you get a resource that does not have the skils that they advertised.  Dealing with different technicians daily can be frustrating if you get people who have
