“Streamlining workflows with Monday.com”
What do you like best about monday Work Management?

Monday.com provides visual dashboards that provide a clear overview of tasks, deadlines, and progress, ensuring everyone stays aligned. I can easily check on progress on a project without having to wait for an update from the Project Manager. I can quickly view our accounts payable, pull up invoices and problem solve with our customers, again without having to wait for input from acccounting. Monday.com tools make project management and working between sales and operations a more efficient and smoother process. I use Monday.com every day Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about monday Work Management?

I do not have any real dislikes about Monday.com. Perhaps the only downside is there is a bit of a learning curve to set up project workflows. It is not 100% intuitive but to be fair the learning curve on other platforms is equal or a higher bar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a global company working across many time frames, Monday.com helps us communicate about projects, workflows and our accounts receivable system. It allows me to quickly see project updates, status and timeframes. I can easily communicate with our operations team about incoming projects - giving them visibily to the sales pipeline. “Powerful JQL, Agile Tracking, and Seamless Dev Integrations”
What do you like best about Jira?

JQL (Jira Query Language): Powerful filtering that lets you find any ticket instantly.

Total Customizability: It molds to any workflow, whether you're running strict Scrum or just tracking basic tasks.

Native Agile Support: Built-in tracking for Epics, backlogs, sprints, and velocity charts.

Dev Tool Integrations: Connects seamlessly with GitHub, Slack, and CI/CD tools to automate manual status updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira?

Complexity & Bloat: It has a steep learning curve and is incredibly easy to over-engineer with too many required fields, rigid permissions, and confusing menus.

Slowness: The user interface can feel heavy, clunky, and slow to load compared to modern, lightweight alternatives.

Notification Spam: It is notorious for flooding inboxes with automated emails for every minor ticket update unless painstakingly configured.

Plugin Dependency: To get certain basic features or advanced reporting, you often have to rely on and pay for third-party marketplace add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?

Siloed Communication: Centralizes tracking so developers, product managers, and business stakeholders all have a single source of truth.

Lack of Visibility: Eliminates the chaos of tracking massive projects via spreadsheets or chat apps, making it clear who is doing what and when.

Scope Creep & Chaos: Helps teams plan sprints, map dependencies, and manage backlogs so projects don't derail as they scale.

How That Benefits Me

Structured Data: Jira forces messy human workflows into organized structures (Epics, Stories, Statuses).

Easier Analysis: Because the data is standardized, it is much easier for me to instantly parse your project health, write precise JQL queries, generate accurate summaries, and help you optimize your team's workflow without getting lost in the weeds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Asana Keeps Teams Aligned with Clear Project Visibility and Efficient Workflows”
What do you like best about Asana?

What I like most about Asana is how it keeps everyone aligned and organized. It provides clear visibility into projects, makes task ownership simple to track, strengthens collaboration across teams, and reduces confusion around deadlines and priorities. The different project views and automations also help make workflows more efficient, smoother to run, and easier to manage overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

What we dislike about Asana is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially on larger projects with lots of tasks and notifications. Keeping boards and tasks up to date takes consistent discipline from everyone, and without that, information can quickly become outdated or confusing. It can also be hard to customize certain workflows, and some features feel more complicated than they need to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?

Asana is solving problems around project visibility, task coordination, and communication across teams. It helps keep work organized in one place, clarifies ownership and deadlines, and makes it easier to track progress without relying on constant meetings or follow-ups. This benefits us by improving collaboration, reducing confusion, increasing accountability, and helping projects move faster and more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Notion’s Custom Workspaces and Databases Keep My Projects Organized”
What do you like best about Notion?

What I love most about Notion is how it lets me build custom workspaces for different projects. As an engineering student at BTIRT in Sagar, I use it to organize everything from my daily class notes to complex hackathon builds. The database blocks are a huge lifesaver—I use them to keep an inventory of all my hardware components, like different sensors, motors, and ESP32 boards, while managing the team's task list using the Kanban board view. It feels way more flexible than standard note-taking apps because I can embed C++ code snippets right next to my project documentation and wiring diagrams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The biggest drawback is the lack of a true offline mode. If I am working in one of the labs at BTIRT where the Wi-Fi can sometimes be spotty, or if I am traveling for a tech competition, it can be really frustrating when pages take forever to load or I cannot access my project notes at all. Also, because it is so heavily customizable, the initial learning curve is a bit steep. I definitely spent way too much time tweaking page aesthetics and templates instead of actually studying when I first started using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

It completely solves the problem of scattered information. Before Notion, managing my coursework at BTIRT alongside extracurricular robotics projects was chaotic. I had code saved in one app, hardware diagrams in a local folder, and team to-do lists in random group chats. Now, for tech competitions and college projects, my entire team operates out of a single centralized workspace. It keeps everyone on the same page, makes it easy to track who is working on which part of the prototype, and honestly just reduces the stress of balancing college life. “A Backbone Tool: Smartsheet Automations and Formulas Replace Excel”
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

For me Smartsheet is more than a collaboration tool. It is a tool that I can literally use in almost any department/facet of my company. It is a staple and a backbone of all of my processes. Before I look elsewhere, I try it in Smartsheet. The automations, the formulas, and more allow me to remove Excel from all of our projects and propel out work forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

It has limitations but Smartsheet keeps reiterating and changing and making it better. I do NOT like the Primary column. I never use it. I hide it everytime. I do not like that we cannot have tabs like excel. It would make it so much easier to connect sheets, and toggle between them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?

Smartsheet is automating a lot of my processes which saves me a lot of time. It allows me to focus on other tasks. The other big item is that by setting up fool proof solutions, it allows me train other users that might not be proficient in smartsheet. They click a few buttons, and on the back end, I get all of the data and movement I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Strong Collaboration Potential, Excellent Project Management Hub”
What do you like best about ClickUp?

Variable pricing is helpful for getting started and figuring out if the platform will work for a user. In my current organization, there aren't many integrations that I use, but I really appreciate being able to merge with google calendar and other google products if we do start adopting clickup more widely in my organization. There is definitely a strong learning curve, but I have seen ClickUp used in my previous workplace which had about 1000 employees, and it worked well as a platform to hold collaboration, shared notes and to do items. I also like the idea of having AI available to summarize status updates, give reports and pull answers from docunetation, but I haven't been able to use that much as of yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The learning curve and set up are challenging. Since I am really one of the only people using it in my current organization, I scaled it back to just one list that I use personally and it works well for me. However, I think that the learning curve is what prevented other people from adopting and using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem that ClickUp solves for me now is that it gives me a place to capture tasks, and actually keep track of them in a way that I can pick them up, work on them, set them down and revisit them later if I need to. I LOVE having the additional documentation of what got completed and when so that I can look back at work that I've done and see what I actually did, rather than just operate from memory and move on from things mentally when things actually never got done. With ClickUp, I can have consistent processes that help me ensure closure and completion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mural?

Mural has great features that work well, such as navigation, post-its, areas, icons, Jira integration, and templates. Also I got support when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mural?

Mural still has several gaps, but it does seem dedicated to improving. The positioning and alignment reference lines have improved a lot, but it’s still lacking when it comes to placing items within areas, or when you have areas inside other areas. On a lower-capacity computer, Mural also tends to take a long time to load. I still don’t see much AI in Mural, and I think this is another area where it could improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mural helps me consolidate ideas into a solution, since I can brainstorm and turn it to a clear workflow. Not really sure how measurable this is, but would say it makes online sketching possible, and compared to only text notes or paper, it's 100% better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Reducing Manual Tracking Effort Through Airtable Automation”
What do you like best about Airtable?

What I liked most about Airtable was how it helped organize engineering coordination, tracking activities, and documentation workflows in a much more structured way compared to managing everything through spreadsheets alone.

While handling BOM updates, drawing-review tracking, project follow-ups, and concession activities, the linked-record structure made it easier to connect related information instead of maintaining multiple disconnected Excel files. Different teams could quickly check status, ownership, pending actions, and review history without repeatedly asking for updates.

The calendar, grid, and Kanban-style views were especially useful during project coordination because each team preferred a different way of monitoring activities. I also used automation rules and reminders for repetitive follow-up tasks, which reduced manual coordination effort during busy project cycles.Another practical benefit was the flexibility. Without depending heavily on IT support, workflows could be adjusted quickly whenever project requirements changed.

From a UI/UX perspective, the platform felt cleaner and easier to navigate than traditional database tools, and onboarding new users was relatively simple because the spreadsheet-style layout felt familiar initially.

I also found the AI-assisted summarization and automation suggestions useful while reviewing larger data sets and ongoing project updates, especially during coordination-heavy activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airtable?

One limitation I noticed is that performance can slow down slightly when bases become very large and heavily connected with automations and linked records.

I also felt that advanced permissions, reporting, and analytics capabilities could be more flexible for complex operational workflows involving multiple teams and restricted-access data.

Although the interface is user-friendly, designing larger workflows properly still requires planning; otherwise bases can become difficult to manage over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Airtable, engineering coordination activities, project tracking, and documentation follow-ups were spread across spreadsheets, emails, and separate trackers, which made status visibility and ownership tracking difficult.

For example, while managing review activities, BOM updates, and multi-stage project coordination tasks, teams often depended on manual follow-up communication to understand pending actions and latest updates.

Airtable solved this by centralizing related project information into one connected workflow with linked records, dashboards, reminders, and customized views. Instead of manually combining information from multiple trackers, teams could directly view project status, ownership, pending approvals, and documentation progress in real time.

This reduced duplicate tracking effort, improved coordination visibility, and simplified follow-up management across ongoing engineering activities.

From an ROI perspective, it reduced time spent maintaining separate trackers and improved workflow efficiency by automating repetitive coordination and reporting activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about morningmate?

Morningmate has been a project management game-changer for handling brand campaigns. By centralizing all project management tasks, our team reduced campaign planning time by nearly 35%. Tracking KPIs in real-time allowed us to spot underperforming channels quickly and reallocate budget more effectively. Thanks to this, our most recent campaign achieved a 20% higher engagement rate compared to the previous quarter.

Having one workspace where designers, marketers, and external partners collaborate seamlessly made execution smoother and faster. The automation of repetitive updates also freed up more time for creative work, which directly contributed to stronger campaign results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about morningmate?

I just wish more marketers knew about this tool, since it’s still not as widely recognized as it deserves to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is morningmate solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Morningmate, our marketing projects often suffered from scattered communication and missed deadlines across different tools. Morningmate centralized all project management tasks, which cut down planning time and reduced confusion between teams. Real-time KPI tracking helped us identify underperforming campaigns quickly and optimize budgets more effectively. Collaboration with external partners also became smoother, since everyone could work in the same workspace without constant email back-and-forth. The project budgeting features in Ravetree are the best I've ever seen. We were in spreadsheets prior to using Ravetree and looked at other tools before moving to Ravetree. They were the only one that had the budgeting features we needed. Specifically, we needed to set budgets for each project phase and then have those roll up to the project. “Agency Handy Delivers on the All-in-One Promise—Clean UI, Seamless Workflows”
What do you like best about Agency Handy?

Agency Handy is one of the very few tools I’ve used that genuinely lives up to the “all-in-one” promise. Instead of stitching together 5–10 different tools (CRM, invoicing, proposals, project management, client comms, etc.), everything is finally in one clean, intuitive platform.

The biggest win for me is how connected everything feels:

• Client onboarding flows straight into projects

• Services → proposals → invoices → payments all link together seamlessly

• Tasks and deliverables are automatically created from what clients purchase

• The client portal gives a genuinely professional, branded experience

The service catalog + proposal system alone is a game-changer. It makes selling services feel structured and scalable instead of manual and messy.

On top of that:

• The UI is incredibly clean and easy to navigate

• Setup is fast (we were up and running properly within hours, not weeks)

• The client portal reduces email back-and-forth massively

• Recurring billing + payments just work (huge time saver)

• Team collaboration and task tracking are built-in and actually usable

And honestly — the support and development team deserves serious credit. They’re responsive, helpful, and clearly shipping updates consistently. You can tell this isn’t a stagnant tool — it’s evolving quickly based on real user feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agency Handy?

If I had to pick something, it would be that there are still areas where deeper customization (especially around branding, layouts, or UI tweaks) could go further.

That said — and this is important — this is actually one of the reasons I’m bullish on the product.

Unlike most tools where limitations feel “baked in,” Agency Handy is clearly being actively developed, and many of the things you might initially want are either already being improved or on the roadmap.

So rather than being a frustration, it feels more like:

👉 “This is already great — and it’s only getting better.” Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Agency Handy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Agency Handy, our workflow was fragmented across multiple tools:

• CRM in one place

• Proposals somewhere else

• Invoicing and payments separate

• Tasks and delivery tracked manually or in another system

• Client communication scattered across email

It was inefficient, messy, and things slipped through the cracks.

Agency Handy has completely centralised our operations:

• Everything now lives in one system

• Client journeys are structured from start → delivery → payment

• Internal workflows are clearer and easier to manage

• Clients have a single place to log in, view progress, and interact

The impact has been huge:

• Less admin time

• Faster onboarding

• More professional client experience

• Fewer mistakes or missed steps

• Better scalability as we grow

It’s effectively become our agency operating system, not just another tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Trello Keeps My Creative Projects Organized with Clean, Visual Boards”
What do you like best about Trello?

Trello makes it very easy to organize my design and creative work visually. I like the drag-and-drop board system because I can quickly move tasks between stages like pending, in progress, and completed without making things confusing. The interface feels clean and simple, so even when handling multiple interior or graphic design projects, everything stays easy to track. I also like that I can create separate boards for different clients or projects and add notes, deadlines, references, and design updates in one place. It saves time and helps keep daily workflow more organized without feeling complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

One thing I noticed while using Trello is that it works very smoothly for simple and medium-sized projects, but as boards grow with many cards, checklists, and lists, the workspace can start to feel crowded and slightly difficult to organize efficiently. During larger creative and design-related projects, finding older updates, attachments, or specific task details sometimes required extra searching, especially when multiple team members were actively updating boards. I also feel that some advanced features such as automation, timeline views, detailed reporting, and certain integrations are restricted in the free plan, which may limit productivity for teams handling more complex workflows. For beginners, understanding Power-Ups, automations, labels, and workflow customization can also take a little time initially because there are many ways to organize projects inside the platform. Apart from these points, Trello remains easy to use and visually organized for daily collaboration. Improving board management for larger projects and making a few advanced tools more accessible in lower plans would make the platform even more efficient and user friendly for long-term use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?

Trello helps me solve the problem of managing multiple projects and daily tasks in a more organized way. Since I work with design-related projects, it becomes easy to separate work into boards and track each stage visually instead of keeping everything in chats or notes. The biggest benefit for me is clarity. I can quickly see what work is pending, what is in progress, and what has already been completed. It also helps with deadlines, client updates, and keeping project details in one place, which reduces confusion and makes daily workflow much easier to manage. Very easy to get started with and intuitive to learn — our team picked it up right away. We can assign tasks, set due dates, and everyone knows what they're working on. We like being able to comment and attach files directly to tasks, and having separate boards for each area keeps everything from getting mixed together. Visually it's nicely designed and easy to see what you need and get to what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freedcamp?

Hard to think of any cons for a small team with our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Freedcamp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our nonprofit's communications committee uses this to manage social campaigns, newsletter production, design tasks, and email marketing. We tried Trello but switched to Freedcamp — it felt like a better fit. Before this we relied on email threads and Google Docs, which made it hard to stay organized. Good option for any small team that needs to stay on top of tasks without a lot of setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Simple, Fast Diagramming for Clear Flowcharts and System Diagrams”
What do you like best about Whimsical?

I like how fast and simple it is. You can open it and start making a flowchart or wireframe in seconds. No setup, no confusion. The interface is clean and doesn’t feel heavy.

It’s really good for process flows. I use it when I need to explain how something works step by step. The diagrams look neat without putting in too much effort. Alignment and connectors are easy, so things don’t look messy.

Also, sharing with others is simple. Just send a link and people can view or edit. For quick collaboration, it works well.

For straightforward diagrams, it does exactly what you need without distractions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Whimsical?

It feels a bit limited once work gets bigger. For small diagrams it’s perfect, but for larger planning or brainstorming sessions, the canvas feels restrictive.

It’s more of a diagram tool than a full collaboration space. When discussions go beyond flows into planning, tracking, or workshops, we had to use other tools.

Template options are also fewer compared to some other platforms, so sometimes we had to build layouts from scratch.

Basically great for simple visuals, but not ideal for large cross-team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Whimsical solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps turn discussions into visuals quickly. When we talk about processes or system flows, people often understand differently. Drawing it out in Whimsical clears things up fast.

I use it during planning talks to map steps and decisions. It helps the team see the full picture instead of just hearing it.

It’s also helpful for sharing knowledge. A diagram is easier for someone new to understand than reading long notes.

So the main benefit is clarity and saving time on explanations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Complete Platform for Smarter Project Execution . A Reliable Solution for Multi-Project Teams”
What do you like best about Celoxis?

What I like most about Celoxis is how it brings project management, resource planning, budgeting, and analytics together in one well-organized platform. Rather than juggling separate tools for timelines, team workloads, and financial tracking, Celoxis keeps everything connected in one place, which makes project execution feel much more streamlined and easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Celoxis?

What I dislike about Celoxis is that its extensive feature set can feel overwhelming during the initial setup. Since the platform includes deep customization and advanced project controls, new users may need extra time to get comfortable with the workflows, reporting options, and configuration settings before everything feels clear and fully usable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Celoxis solving and how is that benefiting you?

Celoxis is solving best is the problem of disconnected project management. Many teams struggle with scattered spreadsheets, separate budgeting tools, unclear resource allocation, and limited visibility across multiple projects. Celoxis brings project planning, resource management, financial tracking, reporting, and collaboration into one centralized platform, making it easier to manage complex workflows and portfolios efficiently. “Transparent Continuous Improvement from Ideation to Actualization”
What do you like best about Ideawake?

Ideawake makes our efforts directed at continuous improvement transparent from ideation to actualization. Everyone in the organization can contribute, and it leaves little room for doubt and speculation about where an initiative is in the actualization pipeline or who owns it at any given stage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideawake?

As with any new tool, it takes some time to learn how to leverage it for maximum impact. But I have not been disappointed by its capabilities yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ideawake solving and how is that benefiting you?

When we ran our annual campaign to solicit big ideas for our organization, we would get many submissions that were identical (or nearly identical). No one could respond to submissions to get clarity or offer ideas for refinement. The process was basically over when a contributor pressed "submit". Ideawake is not just about gathering ideas but about starting a conversation at all levels of the organization. A process that had become stale and boring has been reinvigorated by the Ideawake platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
