“Great Time Saving Platform That Makes Project Management Easy, Organized, and Efficient.”
What do you like best about monday Work Management?

Monday work management is a great platform for organizing and managing projects. It’s fairly easy to use, and the file version feature is extremely helpful for keeping track of changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about monday Work Management?

The downside is that work management requires a minimum of three paid users, and if you want the security features you have to be on the Enterprise plan with five users. This is unfortunate for small teams, since they don’t need five seats. It would be great if monday offered a small business plan. I do freelance work on the side and would love to utilize monday, but as a team of one, paying for three seats per product just isn’t reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

Monday work management makes project management more organized and easier to track, and it also helps me find the current version of documents quickly. Using a OneDrive or folder-based system can get very messy and can lead to several hours of wasted time over the course of a year. Since switching to Monday, I no longer have to search through folders and dates just to find the most accurate resource. Monday’s version history helps me stay organized and makes it easier to locate the resources I need efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“All-in-One, Flexible Workspace That Keeps Our Team Organized”
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like best about ClickUp is that it brings everything into one place. Tasks, timelines, notes, and updates all live in the same system, which reduces back and forth between tools.

I also value the flexibility. We can customize statuses, fields, and views to match how our team actually works. That makes it easier to stay organized and gives clear visibility into who is responsible for what and where projects stand at any given time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

ClickUp can feel overwhelming at times. There are many features and configuration options, which is helpful, but it also means the system can become cluttered if it is not set up carefully. New users often need guidance to understand how our team uses it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp helps us keep our work organized in one central place. Tasks are clearly assigned, deadlines are visible, and priorities are easier to manage. This reduces confusion about who is responsible for what and helps projects move forward without constant check ins.

It also allows conversations to happen directly within each task. That keeps context, decisions, and updates tied to the work itself instead of scattered across email or chat. As a result, information is easier to find, new team members can get up to speed more quickly, and we spend less time searching for background details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Impeccable Portfolio Management and Customizable Workflows in Asana”
What do you like best about Asana?

My favorite feature of Asana is its impeccable portfolio management. Also, unlike many competitor tools, you are able to host subtasks in multiple lists, allowing for complex workflows, views, and automations. It's very user-friendly and easy to use. Even a beginner can easily create a project or task list. Goals are also incredible because they link seamlessly to projects and tasks. I appreciate the high level of customization. I use it every single day to manage projects across multiple businesses. It also is a software that has been around for many years, plus great API documentation, so it integrates really well with other tools. Thanks to templates and great guides on their free academy site, implementation is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Since tasks are the only type of true database item, it can become difficult to implement when you need to store information like contacts or checklists. Customer support is also a bit slow and convoluted compared to other tools I have used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?

Asana solves my need to be in multiple places at once. I can drill into the details of work as well as see work globally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Jira Keeps Our ML Experiments Organized and Cross-Functional Work Aligned”
What do you like best about Jira?

Jira helps me to organize experiments, track model development and coordinate with cross functional teams, i create tasks for dataset preprocessing , model training and evaluation and assign substasks for hyperparameter tuning , features engineering or testing, the ability to attach, datasets, experiment logs or notebook directly to Jira ticket keeps all related files in one place, integration with Google workspace allows me to link docs or sheets with experimental results and share them with client seamlessly. sprint boards and kanban view makes it easy to monitor ML pipeline progress , track blockers and plan next steps for model development. its our daily drive tool in workflow. we use Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Gemini daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira?

sometimes Jira feels heavy for small experiments ,. creating multiple subtasks for iterative ML experiments can be slightly cumbersome, advance automation features require setup and occasionally third party plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?

it solves coordination and tracking problems across ML workflows, instead of tracking experiments and tasks manually, i can see the status of each dataset, model and evaluation in one centralized system, it improves team collaboration , reduces miscommunication between ML engineers, data engineers and product teams, and ensures timely completion of milestones, tasks and blockers are visible, making sprint planning and progress monitoring much more structured. it is indispensable for managing ML projects with multiple moving parts, it enhances accountability, keep documentation and datasets organized and streamlines collaboration between data ,ML and product teams, while it can be slightly heavy for small experiments, the benefits far outweigh the minor setup complexities. “Notion: Powerful Yet Straightforward Note-Taking”
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like about Notion is how complex it is and how straightforward it is to use. Honestly, this is the best app for note-taking I have ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I can not think of anything I dislike about Notion. The only complaint I would have is that using that slash command to quickly pick an option for the note does not work on my mobile device. It's such a quick, convenient thing to use. I wish it worked on my phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

A problem notion solves for me is my desire for complex organized note-taking. I have a lot of ideas, a lot of equipment, a lot of projects, a lot of things that I just want to jot down and have very meticulously organized through various lists and toggle headings. Notion allows me to do pretty much anything I wanted, whether it's a database, a log or even a simple note. It's really changed the way I store my information, personal or farm related. “Easy, Familiar Task Tracking That Keeps Clinic Work Organized”
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content, so I have many small tasks to track every day. I use Smartsheet to manage patient follow ups, printing diet charts, appointment confirmations, and content planning. I don’t come from a technical background, but I could start using it without any help. The layout feels familiar, like a simple table, so adding tasks and dates is easy for me.

It was easy to set up my sheet for weekly clinic work and content planning. I just created columns for task, status, priority, and due date and started adding my daily work. I didn’t need any special setup or training to begin.

I open Smartsheet almost every day to check what is pending and what is already done. It helps me plan my clinic day and also manage content work for the week, so I don’t forget follow ups and small tasks.

The features I use most are status, priority, due dates, comments, and attachments. Attaching files like diet charts and notes to tasks is helpful because everything stays with the task and I don’t have to search for files later.

I also find it easy to connect this with how I already work. I track expenses in another app and then note related review tasks in Smartsheet. It fits well into my routine and doesn’t feel complicated to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

One thing I notice is that Smartsheet works best on a bigger screen. On smaller screens, I prefer to note things down and update later from my laptop. Also, when I add many tasks in a day, I sometimes forget to set the right status and have to correct it later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?

Earlier, I used to handle clinic tasks and content work in a very loose way. Some days I focused only on patients and forgot content deadlines, and some days it was the opposite. There was no clear picture of what was pending and what I had already finished.

With Smartsheet, I now keep a simple running list of my work. When I complete something, I mark it and move on to the next task. This helps me stay consistent instead of working in bursts and then catching up later. Over time, this has made my work feel more controlled and less rushed, especially on busy clinic days. I also don’t miss small things like printing diet charts or follow-up calls because they are already listed there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Airtable Keeps Assignments and Updates Centralized and Easy to Track”
What do you like best about Airtable?

I use Airtable as an operational layer so I’m not scattered across emails, messages and loose excel sheets. I’ve set it up with basic databases, for resources, special assignments and waitlists, with views well filtered by status (confirmed, under review and so on). At a minimum, I am able to log in 5 minutes prior to a meeting and view all open case assignments without having to dig through email chain history. I re-enter RAs' updates into the system to record them in one centralized database location, allowing coordinators to view tasks by due date and person responsible without opening multiple excel sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airtable?

If there is a formal update to our main housing system and I forget to duplicate this update within Airtable, inconsistencies show up and information may be out of date. I'm aware I am only using the software at approximately 70% capacity, I could further automate functionality and develop more structured relationships between tables, but this would take hours of focused work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?

Generally there are numerous minor issues that did not justify an immediate formal ticket creation within the institutional system such as, minor complaints, pending furniture requests, etc.; all of these types of items have a designated place within Airtable. The primary benefit of implementing Airtable was clarity, I login, select program and status and it's there. In our team meetings, we spend less time attempting to recall what occurred and more time discussing what to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A project management tool that drives measurable marketing results”
What do you like best about morningmate?

Morningmate has been a project management game-changer for handling brand campaigns. By centralizing all project management tasks, our team reduced campaign planning time by nearly 35%. Tracking KPIs in real-time allowed us to spot underperforming channels quickly and reallocate budget more effectively. Thanks to this, our most recent campaign achieved a 20% higher engagement rate compared to the previous quarter.

Having one workspace where designers, marketers, and external partners collaborate seamlessly made execution smoother and faster. The automation of repetitive updates also freed up more time for creative work, which directly contributed to stronger campaign results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about morningmate?

I just wish more marketers knew about this tool, since it’s still not as widely recognized as it deserves to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is morningmate solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Morningmate, our marketing projects often suffered from scattered communication and missed deadlines across different tools. Morningmate centralized all project management tasks, which cut down planning time and reduced confusion between teams. Real-time KPI tracking helped us identify underperforming campaigns quickly and optimize budgets more effectively. Collaboration with external partners also became smoother, since everyone could work in the same workspace without constant email back-and-forth. “Great for Project Budgets”
What do you like best about Ravetree?

The project budgeting features in Ravetree are the best I've ever seen. We were in spreadsheets prior to using Ravetree and looked at other tools before moving to Ravetree. They were the only one that had the budgeting features we needed. Specifically, we needed to set budgets for each project phase and then have those roll up to the project. We also needed the ability to invoice for each of these phases—sometimes as a percentage. Ravetree allows for all of this. Very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ravetree?

“Streamlined Project Management and Team Collaboration with Wrike”
What do you like best about Wrike?

One of the newer things I really appreciate about Wrike is how much more intuitive and polished the interface feels. Navigation is smoother, dashboards are more customizable, and it’s much easier to tailor views to what different team members actually need to see. The improved dashboards and reporting capabilities have made it simple to track KPIs and project health in real time without having to export data elsewhere.

I’ve also been impressed with the continued enhancements to automation and workflow management. Setting up rules to automatically assign tasks, update statuses, or trigger notifications has significantly reduced manual work for our team. It helps standardize processes and keeps projects moving without constant oversight.

Additionally, the collaboration features keep getting better. The ability to comment directly within tasks, tag teammates, and share files in context really cuts down on long email threads and keeps communication centralized. Overall, the recent updates have made Wrike feel more streamlined, smarter, and more aligned with how modern teams work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I’d say the onboarding experience can feel a bit overwhelming at first. The platform is extremely powerful, but that also means there’s a learning curve especially when you start working with complex automations, custom fields, and advanced workflows. It takes time (and sometimes trial and error) to fully understand how everything connects.

Another area for improvement is the mobile app. It works well for basic task management and quick updates, but it doesn’t yet offer the full depth of features available on the desktop version. For teams that rely heavily on mobile access, having more parity between desktop and mobile would make a big difference.

That said, once you get past the initial setup phase, Wrike becomes a very robust and flexible project management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike has helped our team centralize project planning, timelines, and communication. Before Wrike, tracking tasks and deadlines across departments was chaotic. Now, we can assign clear responsibilities, monitor progress, and deliver projects on time with fewer miscommunications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Backlog: Easy, Affordable Project Management with Strong Collaboration & Visibility”
What do you like best about Backlog?

Backlog is most helpful to me as a simple, centralized way to manage projects, tasks, and team communication in one place. Its main upsides are ease of use, clear task tracking, and strong collaboration features like comments, notifications, and shared wikis. Visual tools such as Kanban boards, Gantt charts, and burndown charts help teams plan work and monitor progress. For software teams, built-in Git integration improves traceability between code and tasks. Overall, Backlog increases transparency, accountability, and productivity while remaining affordable and easy to adopt for small to mid-sized teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backlog?

The least helpful aspects of Backlog i have experienced are its limited advanced features and customization compared to more powerful tools like Jira. It may feel restrictive for large or complex projects that require detailed workflows, automation, or advanced reporting. Backlog’s integrations with third-party apps are also relatively limited, which can be a drawback for teams using many external tools. Its user interface, while simple, can feel basic and less flexible for power users. Additionally, Backlog is less suited for organizations needing highly scalable enterprise-level project management or deep analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Backlog solving and how is that benefiting you?

A backlog solves the problem of unclear priorities and forgotten work for me by organizing tasks in one visible, ranked list. It reduces chaos, prevents overcommitment, and makes trade-offs explicit. This benefits me by improving focus, decision-making, and efficiency, while building trust with stakeholders and creating a clear sense of progress and direction in daily work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Flexible and Powerful project management that's easy to get in to fast.”
What do you like best about Freedcamp?

I like the visualization of each project using the Kanban layout as it gives me a very quick indication of how my task list is looking for each project. I also really appreciate the alarm badge which shows how many tasks have been updated and are awaiting my contribution. This helps me avoid keeping clients waiting for a response during busy periods as I can home in on urgent tasks.

There are many other features to like such as the notes, discussions, and widgets however my use case I don't have to dip into those very much.

I also like that my clients find the system very easy to use. I have totally replaced by ticketing system with Freedcamp as my client appreciates the ease of use.

Finally, with a product that has so many features it is important to have good support online to guide me through any areas I am unfamiliar with and Freedcamp is also strong in this area.

I researched many project planners before settling on Freedcamp and I quickly came to realize that I made the right choice. I even upgraded my package, but if you are on a budget, the cost to entry is extremely low so I highly recommend anyone tries Freedcamp first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freedcamp?

There genuinely is not anything I dislike. I don't even have any feature requests for the developer. Everything works just like I need it to and if I am unsure of anything the support is first class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are looking for an easy to dive into project management tool that offers all the bells and whistles you might want to grow into - make use of the very low introductory offers to try Freeedcamp - I never looked back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Freedcamp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Freedcamp lets me manage many web projects in one clear and efficient workspace. I genuinely do not know how I would manage with it.

I use it for two things, project management and support tickets.

For project management, I can clearly lay out tasks for many projects, and even group them into different areas (for example clients or web properties) and visualize progress. For client support tickets I can have simple efficient conversations with clients in the same layout as project management tasks so there is no learning required for different use cases. This is a real time saver for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Trello’s Customizable, Friendly Boards Make Organizing Everything Easy”
What do you like best about Trello?

Trello is just enormously customizable and friendly - you can use visuals, colors, checklists, columns, filters, and SO much more to organize both your work and personal lives. I have so many different boards and the platform just works great for whatever I'm trying to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

I find it slightly annoying when some features are arbitrarily siloed over in the paid tier, like putting dates on specific checklist items - but this is a minor complaint given how many functionalities are straight-up free! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping my life organized, both personal and professional. Before Trello I think i just didn't have a place to keep important info that wasn't immediately actionable. Now it's my place to store writing ideas, resources and useful articles, goals I don't have time for right now, lists of plays I've seen, recipes to try.... truly the functionalities are endless. But it just makes me have a place for everything in my digital life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
