Asset Tracking Software

Typically, Asset Tracking is a capability of a variety of other G2 Software categories. See more below to select the

best Asset Tracking Software.

Asset tracking software enables you to label or barcode equipment, manage assets throughout the entire lifecycle, track asset location and delivery status, and generate reports to determine performance analytics. Multiple tools are used to track assets across a variety of industries. Depending on several factors, companies can determine the asset management system that best aligns with goals and initiatives. Enterprise asset management (EAM) software enables administrators and other professionals to view, manage, and analyse physical assets. Using a holistic approach, it helps optimize management strategies by tracking the lifecycle of all company-owned assets. Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) offer similar functionality to EAM software, but focus solely on digital assets. It also helps users respond to planned or preventative maintenance work orders associated with facility assets. For IT professionals, Enterprise IT management suites serve as an infrastructure control center for IT departments in mid- to large-sized businesses.

“Lightning-Fast UI, Seamless Remote Access, and Constant Innovation”
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

From the moment I launch the quick User Interface, NinjaOne is so fast to startup day to day, I now open it before my email. The constant integrations the devolvement team provides show they are not wanting to stop innovations. They also don't charge for each little thing. Only when the integration will make you money, will they charge something. Onboarding a client is simple and only take a few minutes to get the client up and ready. The main reasons I like NinjaOne best are the quick access to a remote screen, so I can walk a client to success or troubleshoot issues in real time. Another big plus is being able to create End Users, so they can benefit as well and have that same remote management feel. When pairs with the AI and Automation features, anything I want is available anytime I want it, or it will be the next time to PC turn on and connects to the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

The only downsides I’ve run into are internal. The NinjaOne DoJo can be problematic because logins aren’t always accepted when using the same credentials as the traditional login portal. Beyond that, it’s hard for me to point to any other real negatives, especially since their team is very responsive about helping you find a solution or making you aware of solutions that already exist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

They are solving the problems with Detection Gap, Update Anxiety, Endpoint Performance, and Audit Headaches. NinjaOne is solving my problem of fragmentation. By putting RMM, Patching, and Backups in one AI-enhanced "single pane of glass," it gives me back my time and significantly lowers my organizational risk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Maintain X Makes Asset Management Easy—Fast Imports, Smart Notifications, Great Support”
What do you like best about MaintainX?

The ability to organize our existing inventory sheets from Excel and transfer them into the Maintain X platform easily has been a big plus. Navigation through the software is straightforward, and I like being able to micromanage each piece of equipment with maintenance records, shop diagrams, parts inventories, photographs, and vendors all in one place. Maintain X seems to do it all.

The notification feature is very important to us. Pricing is reasonable, and we hope this will save us hours of time once our onboarding is complete. Support during onboarding has been great. We have not used the integrations feature yet, other than importing data from Excel spreadsheets, which works flawlessly. Performance is fast, with the ability to quickly find a particular asset. We’re still learning the AI capabilities, including its ability to recognize brands of equipment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

So far, we haven’t found any downsides, but we’re still learning about the product and getting familiar with how it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MaintainX solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to combine multiple Excel spreadsheets and their data into one central place has made it much easier for our team. It allows four people to access the same information and update it on a daily basis without juggling separate files. One of the biggest benefits is the notification feature, which alerts us when a piece of equipment is due for a required service or inspection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Game-Changing Asset Management with QR Codes and a Fast, Intuitive Mobile App”
What do you like best about Coast?

The most valuable part of Coast is the asset management system combined with the QR code functionality. In a massive manufacturing plant being able to scan a piece of equipment and instantly see its entire work order history is a game changer. The maintenance scheduling and planning tools are also very intuitive which has allowed us to move from reactive repairs to a much more stable preventive maintenance model. The mobile app is exceptionally fast and my technicians actually enjoy using it because the usability is so straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

The platform is very robust but I would love to see even deeper integrations with our legacy procurement software for the parts inventory section. However the current system for automating inventory updates works flawlessly and has already reduced our manual entry errors by a significant margin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Coast solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were facing significant losses due to untracked equipment downtime and a lack of real time maintenance reporting. Coast solved this by giving us a centralized dashboard to monitor multiple locations and track every work order request as it happens. The downtime tracking feature has given us the insights we need to justify equipment upgrades based on actual performance data. It has streamlined our entire inspection process by storing all procedural documents in one place which has made our facility audits much easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Limble CMMS Streamlines Preventive Maintenance with Exceptional Support”
What do you like best about Limble?

What stands out most to me about Limble CMMS is how much it simplifies and strengthens our preventive maintenance process. It removes a lot of the human error that typically comes with manual tracking and makes it significantly easier to manage assets and stay on top of PM schedules.

Implementation was straightforward, and the support from the Limble team has been exceptional. They’re consistently responsive, every time I’ve reached out, I’ve received immediate, helpful answers. Their reliability and attentiveness make a huge difference in day‑to‑day operations.

Overall, Limble CMMS has made maintenance more efficient, more accurate, and far easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Limble?

In terms of downsides, I honestly don’t have many. Limble has been solid for my workflow, and nothing stands out as a major negative. The only feature I find myself wishing for is the ability to print asset labels that include the last PM date, the next scheduled PM date, and basic asset information. Having labels like that would make it easy to update assets right at the time of service and keep info visible at a glance.

Aside from that missing feature, I haven’t run into any real issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Limble solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. Reduces Human Error:

Limble takes a lot of manual guesswork out of maintenance tasks. By automating schedules, reminders, and documentation, it significantly cuts down on mistakes that happen with paper logs or scattered spreadsheets.

2. Improves Preventive Maintenance Execution:

Preventive maintenance becomes easier and more consistent. Limble ensures tasks are completed on time, tracked properly, and documented without relying on memory or informal communication.

3. Simplifies Asset Tracking:

It centralizes and organizes asset information, making it easy to see history, status, and maintenance requirements all in one place. This keeps technicians aligned and eliminates confusion about what needs to be serviced.

4. Keeps PM Schedules Accurate and Up to Date:

Instead of manually updating service intervals or trying to remember when something was last maintained, Limble automatically manages and displays upcoming PMs, helping prevent overdue work and unexpected breakdowns.

5. Provides Reliable, Fast Support During Implementation and Daily Use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall, it saves me a lot of time in my day-to-day IT work. I highly recommend Atera to any IT professional or MSP who’s looking for an all-in-one solution that’s efficient and cost-effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Atera?

One thing I dislike about Atera is that some advanced features feel limited compared to more complex RMM platforms. Occasionally the interface can feel a bit slow when managing a large number of devices. However, overall the platform still delivers great value for the price and continues to improve with updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Atera solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tines is really easy to use. I also appreciate how quickly they rolled out AI features, and it’s been genuinely useful for our organization. In particular, we’ve gotten a lot of value from the AI Agent features and the AI-powered formula generation.

Tines also has a great support team. We typically hear back within a few hours, and they’re receptive to feature requests, which makes a big difference.

Integrations with tools like Crowdstrike, Jira, Qualys, GCP, AWS, etc., work beautifully and have been smooth to set up and use.

I have never had any issues with performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

None at the moment, but I’d like to share some feedback: Tines’ AI formula generation doesn’t work sometimems. Story Copilot also has a few minor bugs, and I’m hoping it improves in the future.

“Very important and appropriate solution for our AWS cloud Environment”
What do you like best about AWS Systems Manager?

Since, Macie covers s3, cloudwatch covers VPC logs, Cloudtrail with api calls within services. There were some limitations within them. Since our infrastructure may be secure, but in case of defense in depth, we should always consider regular patching of EC2, identify unwanted softwares. Who and when it happened. All these should be logged for correlating purpose. System Manager with help of agents and aggregators shows the posture of an OS or an EC2 or running core. The integration is also very simple with other services to make sure security and compliance is in stand. Coming to patch manager, using playbooks were pretty easy and risk free as it could be triggered based on rules. Thanks for such a service. Implementation and support are always available from docs, whitepapers, community etc, . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Systems Manager?

Downside is, Overall , in view of compliance sometimes PII uploaded to s3 can be identified with Macie. But when its an image or pdf containing photo copies of such personal sensitive information its hard to identify. It might be stored on the ec2 or s3. But figuring out it is complex. What I liked most about eWorkOrders is the outstanding customer service. Everything feels intuitive and actually saves us time instead of creating more work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about eWorkOrders CMMS?

Honestly can’t think of any cons worth mentioning. It does exactly what we need and does it well. Great product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is eWorkOrders CMMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

eWorkOrders is solving our biggest headache: staying on top of preventive maintenance triggered by actual equipment runtime and downtime events.

We pull live runtime hours and alarm data from our facility automation system into eWorkOrders, so the system always knows exactly when a piece of equipment is due for service or when a fault occurs. Even though we still enter some corrective work orders manually, the runtime-based PMs and alarm-triggered notifications are automatic and 100% accurate.

The benefit is huge: no more guessing or spreadsheet tracking, PMs are never missed, technicians get instant alerts about downtime events, and we finally have reliable data showing how our equipment is really performing. It’s made our maintenance process far more proactive and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its flexible alerting system ensures timely notifications, helping minimize downtime. Overall, it is a reliable solution that improves efficiency and maintains stable IT operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine OpManager Plus?

What I dislike about ManageEngine OpManager Plus is that its interface can sometimes feel a bit cluttered, especially when managing large environments with many devices. Initial setup and fine-tuning alerts can also take time, as there are many configurations to go through. Additionally, reporting customization is somewhat limited compared to expectations, and some advanced features require extra modules or licensing. At times, performance may slow down when handling a large volume of data, which can impact the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ManageEngine OpManager Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?

ManageEngine OpManager Plus solves the challenge of limited visibility and fragmented monitoring across network, server, and application layers by providing a centralized platform for real-time monitoring. “Intuitive and User-Friendly Platform That Boosts Team Efficiency”
What do you like best about Fracttal One?

I like how Fracttal One is an easy-to-use and very intuitive platform. In addition, it facilitates a better description of activities and the monitoring of each task. This includes the addition of photographic records and screenshots, which contribute to a clearer understanding of what needs to be done.

What I found most important was the ease of viewing tasks and subtasks, organized in lists, which helps the team perform better in completing these activities. Overall, it's a very good tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fracttal One?

At the moment, I have not identified any problems related to the platform's operation. The main difficulties observed are associated with operational errors, such as incorrect information entry or the closure of cases without the proper completion of processes, which can result in pending tasks. These situations are more related to the handling of the platform than to failures of the tool itself.

One example is the flow for adding images and attachments, which can only be done after the activity has been created. This procedure can cause some confusion for the user, especially if they forget to add the files after completing the task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Fracttal One solving and how is that benefiting you?

We find it particularly practical to be able to directly schedule inspection and maintenance appointments and keep track of them with reminders.

The support is also top-notch – quickly accessible, friendly, and solution-oriented. New features are regularly added, and you can tell that the team is actively working on further developments.

Overall, a modern, flexible tool that has brought order and transparency to our inventory management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Timly?

With updates, the menu structure occasionally changes slightly – a brief note or changelog directly in the app would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Timly solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the construction industry, Timly helps us primarily to finally keep track of all our tools, machines, and vehicles. In the past, it was often unclear where a particular device was, who was using it, or when an inspection or maintenance was due. With Timly, we now have all of this centrally in one place – with QR codes, clear responsibilities, and automatic reminders.

This saves us a lot of time, avoids duplicate purchases, and reduces discussions about missing or defective materials. Especially with multiple construction sites at the same time, this is a real game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
