Devices that are offline are shown as unhealthy on the dashboard which I would prefer to not be included in the statistics. It does let me customise other health information though which is good.

OS and Software patching and showing at a glance which devices this has failed on, and most importantly for us being able to automate scripts on devices which helps us keep other aspects of the workstations up to date.

I also now have it monitoring my online servers as an uptime monitor to see if they are offline so I can find out before my users tell me.

It is also providing us with backups and I can quickly access them via NinjaOne to download a file a user has mistakenly deleted. There is also an option to do a full image restore which we have been able to do when transferring a broken workstation into a virtual machine which is something we would not have been able to easily do before NinjaOne.

My biggest frustrations are around recording consistency and mobile functionality. I rely heavily on accurate data to manage KPIs and asset health, and right now the recording side could be stronger. Also, the mobile app doesn’t always show the same information as the desktop version, which limits how effective I can be when I’m out with the team instead of at my desk. The biggest value Maintainx brings to our operation is clear, concise visibility into our assets, preventive maintenance, work orders, and daily task management. In terms of downsides, I honestly don’t have many. Limble has been solid for my workflow, and nothing stands out as a major negative. The only feature I find myself wishing for is the ability to print asset labels that include the last PM date, the next scheduled PM date, and basic asset information. Having labels like that would make it easy to update assets right at the time of service and keep info visible at a glance.

The app management tool is great, but it would be even better with more transparency during the install process. A progress bar and ETA for each app would help us manage our time better. Also, since many updates require a restart, having the ability to automatically schedule a reboot for right after the install finishes would be a huge lifesaver for our workflow. Managing hardware and app issues is much faster now that everything is under one roof. We can check disk space, memory, and IP info at a glance, which saves a ton of time. The remote desktop integrations (AnyDesk/Splashtop) are rock solid, and being able to store login info for dedicated machines makes supporting our power users a breeze. I find Cyrtos a little hard to understand, especially during daily use. The analysis of equipment is difficult, and there is no proper bifurcation or clear categorization of equipment. You have to create a work around to be able to update Windows 11 to the latest service pack.

Tines helps us solve the challenge of integrating various tools and platforms into one seamless workflow. We use Tines to connect our messaging platform with other tools, allowing us to centralize communications and actions. For example, we can create comments in external tools directly from our messaging platform, ensuring that everything stays in one place. Additionally, we automate task creation for our teams, assigning tasks through Tines by simply filling out a form. Red Hat Smart Management exhibits strong integration with Red Hat products, which may pose challenges if considering a transition to alternative vendors down the road. Additionally, apart from these overarching concerns, a number of users have expressed criticisms about specific aspects of Red Hat Smart Management:

1.Navigating and utilizing the reporting system can be somewhat challenging. 2.While capable, the performance monitoring features may not match the robustness found in some competing products.

Downside is, Overall , in view of compliance sometimes PII uploaded to s3 can be identified with Macie. But when its an image or pdf containing photo copies of such personal sensitive information its hard to identify. It might be stored on the ec2 or s3. But figuring out it is complex. We do have OCR techniques in some services, which can trigger ec2 playbooks. Yes , it can be achievable with right problem solving technique and using the required services. At the moment, I have not identified any problems related to the platform's operation. The main difficulties observed are associated with operational errors, such as incorrect information entry or the closure of cases without the proper completion of processes, which can result in pending tasks. These situations are more related to the handling of the platform than to failures of the tool itself.

eWorkOrders is solving our biggest headache: staying on top of preventive maintenance triggered by actual equipment runtime and downtime events.

We pull live runtime hours and alarm data from our facility automation system into eWorkOrders, so the system always knows exactly when a piece of equipment is due for service or when a fault occurs. Even though we still enter some corrective work orders manually, the runtime-based PMs and alarm-triggered notifications are automatic and 100% accurate.

While IBM Maximo is a powerful tool, one thing I dislike is that the user interface can be complex and not very intuitive, especially for new or occasional users. One thing i like about is that its pricing can feel a bit expensive for small businesses or individual users.
