Asset Tracking Software

Typically, Asset Tracking is a capability of a variety of other G2 Software categories. See more below to select the

best Asset Tracking Software.

Asset tracking software enables you to label or barcode equipment, manage assets throughout the entire lifecycle, track asset location and delivery status, and generate reports to determine performance analytics. Multiple tools are used to track assets across a variety of industries. Depending on several factors, companies can determine the asset management system that best aligns with goals and initiatives. Enterprise asset management (EAM) software enables administrators and other professionals to view, manage, and analyse physical assets. Using a holistic approach, it helps optimize management strategies by tracking the lifecycle of all company-owned assets. Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) offer similar functionality to EAM software, but focus solely on digital assets. It also helps users respond to planned or preventative maintenance work orders associated with facility assets. For IT professionals, Enterprise IT management suites serve as an infrastructure control center for IT departments in mid- to large-sized businesses.

“Impowered Our MSP to Resolve Issues Quickly and Grow Quickly”
What do you like best about NinjaOne?

I love NinjaOne's Customer Support. Any software our company deals with always has excellent customer service. If we are down, we want to be able to call on a trusted support team to get them resolved quickly, which Ninja has always strived with.

Their tools are by far the best in the game, making site navigation smooth and easy for our clients to manage.

Implementation is super easy as the MSI doesn't prompt the user for anything and allows for a smooth onboarding.

We have integrated with two or three different platforms that Ninja supports including our PSA tool making it a one-stop shop for all of our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

So far, we have yet to come across a dislike. There is one small Feature request we would like to see come to life and be apart of their platform, but we have yet to get it approved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Game Changer For Maintenance Management”
What do you like best about MaintainX?

MaintainX has revolutionised our workplace maintenance management. We can easily create work orders, link them to the right assets and locations, and assign them to the relevant technician to resolve the issue. It also gives us a clear, demonstrable history of all work carried out on every piece of equipment across our site. The different user tiers mean we can customise who sees what information, which helps keep processes efficient and well controlled.

I don’t recall the system ever having any downtime during work hours, so we can rely on it when we need it most. Processing speed is fast as well, which really helps—especially when uploading images quickly.

Overall, between the effective system and the brilliant ongoing support from our account manager, it feels like great value all around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

At this stage, I have very few frustrations with MaintainX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MaintainX solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using MaintainX, we tracked our reactive maintenance on a whiteboard. That left us with very little detail on what actually needed doing, no image evidence to support the request, and no reliable way to assign the job—especially if the right person didn’t see the board.

Now that we have MaintainX, we can create work orders and assign them on the go, and we use the comment feature to discuss the specifics as we go.

The CoPilot AI integration has also helped team members interact and find solutions to problems without having to sift through an entire manual themselves.

Overall, we’re saving hours of admin time every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Strong Support For Service Sales And Maintenance Account Planning”
What do you like best about Zapium?

Zapium helps me connect customer service requirements with commercial follow-up. When a service visit, inspection, breakdown observation, or maintenance recommendation is recorded, I can use that information to plan the next discussion with the customer. It gives better context for proposing maintenance work, spare replacement, additional service visits, or long-term support contracts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zapium?

The sales view can be improved with more account-level summaries, such as open service recommendations, quotation stage, expected closure month, and customer-wise maintenance potential in one screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Zapium solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zapium helps convert service information into structured sales action. Instead of depending only on memory, calls, or scattered notes, I can refer to actual service records and inspection observations while following up with customers. This improves the quality of maintenance discussions, makes proposals more relevant, and helps account managers coordinate better with service and operations teams. “Limble Streamlines PMs, Mobile Work Orders, and Long-Term Equipment Planning”
What do you like best about Limble?

The ability to create PMs and keep a clear history of the work completed on those units is crucial to maintaining a well-functioning facility. The work request URLs are easy for both staff and residents to use. If any issues do come up, the staff at Limble are quick to help and resolve them, and problems are few and far between. The new app has also made it much easier for my techs to complete work, add parts, and log time while they’re on the go. Limble has helped us build a complete database of all equipment across all of our campuses, and with depreciation schedules set up, we can better plan for future expenses. Overall, Limble helps us act instead of react, saving us money and a lot of headaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Limble?

The biggest issue we had was with the old app; it didn’t function as well as the new one. We ran into problems in the field when trying to load it, which meant staff often had to fill out completion notes later. The new app is much better, and staff can add all notes in real time. This saves them from having to think back and remember every detail afterward, and it leads to more accurate documentation. We also had an issue with the global search being too broad, without the ability to filter out things we weren’t looking for, but that has been fixed as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Limble solving and how is that benefiting you?

PM documentation is the biggest benefit. We didn’t track PMs the way we do now, and it’s likely saving us a lot of money. We also have an extensive history of previous work requests, so we can see what work has been done on each apartment and on all the equipment in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The preventive maintenance feature helps us stay ahead of equipment issues, which is crucial in our dairy operations to avoid production disruptions. We also value the real time visibility of assets and work orders, allowing us to make quicker and more informed decisions. Overall, it has improved our productivity, reduced downtime, and made our maintenance process much more organized and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cryotos?

While Cryotos CMMS is highly useful, some features may take time for new users to fully understand. Additionally, improving report customization and ensuring smoother mobile performance would further enhance the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Easy-to-Use RMM With Strong Patching, Scripting, and a Central Device View”
What do you like best about Atera?

Atera was easy for our ICT team to pick up and gave us a really good central view of our devices. Having monitoring, remote access, patch management, automation and asset information in the same platform made day-to-day support much easier. The patching and scripting tools were especially useful and saved us a lot of time managing endpoints across the organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Atera?

hile Atera worked well for our core RMM needs, some areas felt less mature as our requirements grew. Reporting and customisation could be more flexible, and patch management did not always provide the level of detail or control we wanted. We also found that some newer functionality received significant focus while parts of the core platform could still benefit from refinement. Overall, it remains a capable platform, but there are areas where larger or more complex ICT environments may start to feel its limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Atera solving and how is that benefiting you?

Atera is helping us centralise device monitoring, patch management, remote support and IT automation across our environment. Having this information in one place gives our ICT team better visibility of device health and lets us respond to issues without needing to physically access the device.

The biggest benefit has been reducing manual administration. Automated patching, software deployment, monitoring alerts and scripting allow us to manage a large number of endpoints more consistently and proactively. This saves technician time and helps us identify issues before they become larger support problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Original Information
“ServiceNow ITOM: Driving Visibility, Automation, and AI-Powered Operations”
What do you like best about ServiceNow IT Operations Management?

ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) stands out for delivering end-to-end visibility and proactive control across IT infrastructure. Its discovery and service mapping capabilities help organizations understand how systems and services are connected, which supports faster root cause analysis and more accurate impact assessment.

The platform’s event management features consolidate alerts from multiple tools, cutting down on noise and helping teams focus on what’s truly critical. Its integration with ITSM also improves efficiency by linking operational events directly to incidents, streamlining the path from detection to response.

A major advantage is its AI and AIOps capabilities, which enable intelligent event correlation, anomaly detection, and predictive insights. This helps identify issues earlier, group related alerts, and recommend resolutions, shifting IT operations from reactive firefighting to a more proactive approach.

In addition, built-in automation and orchestration reduce manual effort and speed up issue resolution. Overall, ITOM brings together visibility, automation, and AI-driven intelligence to improve service reliability and operational efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow IT Operations Management?

ServiceNow ITOM has a few notable drawbacks, starting with its high cost, particularly if you rely on advanced modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and AIOps. In large scale implementation projects, the implementation process can be complex and time-consuming, often requiring skilled resources as well as ongoing tuning to keep everything working as expected. In more complex environments, Discovery and service mapping may not always be fully accurate, which can lead to gaps or inconsistencies.

The platform also comes with a steep learning curve. On top of that, the AI/AIOps capabilities depend heavily on having high-quality data and the right configuration; early on, they may generate false positives or miss certain issues. Finally, performance can be impacted when large volumes of events are being processed, especially if the environment is not properly optimized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ServiceNow IT Operations Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

ServiceNow ITOM helps address several common challenges in IT operations, such as limited visibility, fragmented toolsets, alert overload, and overly reactive incident handling. By offering unified monitoring and service mapping, it provides clearer insight into infrastructure dependencies and supports faster root-cause analysis.

Thanks to its strong integration capabilities, ITOM can consolidate data from multiple monitoring tools into a single platform, reducing silos and improving coordination across teams. It also remains reliable under high event volumes, which helps teams process alerts efficiently and focus attention on what matters most.

With its AI/AIOps features, ITOM further reduces noise and inefficiency by correlating events, detecting anomalies, and predicting potential issues before they affect users. This helps shift operations from reactive firefighting to a more proactive approach.

From a pricing and ROI standpoint, the platform delivers value by reducing downtime, minimizing manual effort, and improving overall operational efficiency, which can translate into cost savings over time. In addition, structured support and onboarding make adoption smoother and help teams accelerate time to value.

The UI/UX is intuitive and well-structured, making it easy to navigate between events, service maps, and incidents, which improves efficiency and reduces the learning curve for operations teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

What I like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is having multiple endpoint-management functions in one centralized console. It makes tasks like patch management, software deployment, remote troubleshooting, and device inventory much easier to manage. The automation features are especially useful because they reduce repetitive manual work and help keep endpoints consistent and up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

One area I dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is that the interface can sometimes feel cluttered and overwhelming, especially when navigating through advanced features. Some configurations require multiple steps, which can make routine tasks more time-consuming. Improving the UI, simplifying navigation, and providing clearer guidance for certain settings would make the overall experience more user-friendly and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?

ManageEngine Endpoint Central helps solve the challenge of managing and securing multiple devices from one centralized platform. What do you like best about eWorkOrders CMMS?

What I liked most about eWorkOrders is the outstanding customer service. Also the system is genuinely easy to navigate (no steep learning curve), and setting up automation and integrating API's was a breeze. Everything feels intuitive and actually saves us time instead of creating more work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about eWorkOrders CMMS?

Honestly can’t think of any cons worth mentioning. It does exactly what we need and does it well. Great product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is eWorkOrders CMMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

eWorkOrders is solving our biggest headache: staying on top of preventive maintenance triggered by actual equipment runtime and downtime events.

We pull live runtime hours and alarm data from our facility automation system into eWorkOrders, so the system always knows exactly when a piece of equipment is due for service or when a fault occurs. Even though we still enter some corrective work orders manually, the runtime-based PMs and alarm-triggered notifications are automatic and 100% accurate.

The benefit is huge: no more guessing or spreadsheet tracking, PMs are never missed, technicians get instant alerts about downtime events, and we finally have reliable data showing how our equipment is really performing. It’s made our maintenance process far more proactive and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Unified Observability and Automation That Streamlines IT Operations”
What do you like best about OpsRamp?

What I like best about OpsRamp is its unified observability and IT operations management approach. Instead of using multiple disconnected tools for monitoring, alerting, automation, and incident management, OpsRamp brings these capabilities together on a single platform. This helps organizations gain better visibility into their infrastructure and applications, reduce operational complexity, and respond to issues more efficiently. I also appreciate its strong automation capabilities, which help minimize manual effort and improve overall operational reliability. As someone interested in observability and infrastructure monitoring, I find OpsRamp's focus on proactive issue detection and intelligent operations particularly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpsRamp?

While OpsRamp is a powerful platform, one area that could be improved is the learning curve for new users. Because it offers a wide range of monitoring, automation, and IT operations capabilities, it can take some time for teams to fully understand and utilize all its features effectively. Additionally, initial configuration and customization may require careful planning, especially in complex enterprise environments. However, these challenges are common with comprehensive enterprise observability and IT operations platforms, and the benefits generally outweigh the initial effort required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpsRamp solving and how is that benefiting you?

For me, the biggest benefit is improved visibility and faster issue resolution. By consolidating monitoring data into a single pane of glass, OpsRamp helps identify problems proactively before they impact users. Its automation capabilities also reduce repetitive operational tasks, allowing teams to focus on higher-value work. This leads to improved system reliability, reduced downtime, and more efficient IT operations. As someone working in observability and infrastructure monitoring, having a unified latform helps simplify troubleshooting enhances overall operational efficiency. Simplicity in managing Tickets, Inventory, and outstanding customer support.

We have reached out to Genuity multiple times with suggestions, and they have listened and even implemented one of the suggestions.

The price, for what you get, is by far the best on the market.

We've never seen one single issue with their service being down. They are constantly up and perform well.

We also really like their GUI. It's clean, easy for us to use, and incredibly simple for teachers and staff to submit tickets.

“Automation Streamlines Service Management”
What do you like best about ServiceChannel?

I really like the automation in ServiceChannel. It allows our clients to program the time frame they want us to come for maintenance, whether quarterly or semiannually, and the dispatches will automatically happen on the first of the month. It makes the whole process so much easier because we don't have to request new invoices or tickets every time; it just happens automatically. This automation definitely enhances efficiency for us because the service requests generate on their own. It streamlines everything from receiving the dispatch, working through it, completing it, invoicing, and finally receiving the payment. I also found the initial setup pretty easy, similar to setting up any other account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?

Some of the problem descriptions within ServiceChannel aren't elaborate enough. It can be hard to clock out when we're on our job site, which might be due to cellular signals, not necessarily a ServiceChannel issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use ServiceChannel to handle high volumes of service requests efficiently and automatically. It streamlines processes from dispatching to invoicing and payment, enhancing our overall efficiency without manual entry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Mobile Work Orders That Helped Us Capture $180K in Warranty Recovery”
What do you like best about MIR-RT?

Mechanics can quickly clock into tasks, open automated work orders, update inspection sheets, and log out right from the bay using mobile devices. As of now, with our fleet of 500+ units we could easily recover around $180,000 in the last year in warranties that otherwise would have been missed due to lost paperwork. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MIR-RT?

Setting up customized asset categories requires a major upfront investment of time. Because there are so many complex modules, the team often need extensive onsite or virtual training to actually know how to use the full system. We chose to host MIR-RT on our own dedicated local servers to reduce software costs. Therefore, managing the database infrastructure falls entirely on our internal team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MIR-RT solving and how is that benefiting you?

Waiting for a truck or piece of heavy machinery to break down on the side of the road is incredibly expensive. Reactive maintenance means high emergency towing fees, premium-priced urgent parts, and angry customers waiting on late loads. MIR-RT solves this by tracking usage metrics—like mileage for trucks and engine hours for cranes/machinery—to automate preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling. You get clear visual cues (like color-coding for upcoming or overdue servicing) on a drag-and-drop calendar. Our transition to a proactive shop as improved by scheduling maintenance during natural downtime, which maximizes our fleet's uptime and reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Powerful centralized management of AVD for MSPs”
What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?

Entra tenant management has come along nicely. Comparable to others in the space. I did test it on our dev tenant, but we elected to remain with our current tenant management solution. The ability to deploy AVD with FSLogix without a domain controller is a very nice add! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?

Support has been good the last few times we needed to reach out. Very responsive and still human (not AI). Adding DC-less FSLogix support has been a huge boon and alleviated one of our pain points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simplifying VDI deployments and management. Autoscaling and templates are a big plus, especially for non profits that cannot utilize reserved instances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
