**What do you like best about MapTrack?**

The AI features in MapTrack are great for minimizing the cost of admin and supporting field tasks efficiently. I really appreciate the detail possible in managing each asset, which includes easy categorization with the AI feature. This makes it simple to upload specific asset details. Before MapTrack, using a WhatsApp group for managing assets was unmanageable, but now I can keep track of asset testing, tagging, service scheduling, and repairs effectively. I find it really beneficial that with MapTrack, our team knows equipment availability for scheduling work with multiple users. The support from the MapTrack team in personalizing adjustments for our specific use case has been impressive, and the initial setup was detailed enough to allow each asset to be uniquely identified, even among similar models.

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

We have found no issues to date that have not been from user error, which was easily rectified with help from the Maptrack team

**What problems is MapTrack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MapTrack solves location, usage, and maintenance scheduling issues for our assets. It manages asset details better than our previous WhatsApp group setup, minimizing admin costs. The AI creation tool feature helps categorize and upload specific asset information easily, and sped up the process.

**What do you like best about MapTrack?**

Maptrack is providing useful for tracking our smaller equipment that we use.  
The new platform is so much easier to use, has so many more features.
While there have been some teething problems while getting familiar with navigating the platform the team at Maptrack have been very helpful and available to assist me when needed.
The team at Maptrack uploaded everything from the old platform to the new platform including photos with relative ease.
With all the features that the new platform offers we will be able to report on what is due for testing and tagging, calibration etc.

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

I have not come across any downsides with the new platform to date.

**What problems is MapTrack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have not had any form of tracking and monitoring our small equipment used.  Map Track is able to show us what equipment we have, where it is, what project it is being used on and who it is assigned to, making it better for us to keep track of equipment.

I really like how MapTrack makes it easy to keep track of all tools and equipment across the project. It saves a lot of time chasing items and helps the whole team stay organised and accountable

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

There’s not much to dislike, but occasionally the interface can feel a bit slow when searching for specific tools or updating multiple entries at once. Streamlining that process would make it even better

It solves the problem of lost or untracked tools and equipment, saving time and keeping the team organised

**What do you like best about MapTrack?**

I like MapTrack's nice design, and it's really easy to use. The AI functionality makes adding assets easy, which is super helpful for a business-critical software like this. It ensures a frictionless experience, making day-to-day operations smooth. Despite the initial setup taking some time due to the nature of the task, the process was clear and easy, helped by the AI.

A few little glitches here and there, but they are communicated well and resolved quickly so no problems

I use MapTrack for tracking and managing missing assets and stock levels, creating more accountability. It provides a frictionless experience that smooths day-to-day operations.

**What do you like best about MapTrack?**

It’s really easy to use and doesn’t take long for the team to pick up. We like how simple it is to scan assets, check them in and out, and see where everything is. The QR code feature and customisable forms have made it much easier to manage our equipment. It has also helped us keep people accountable because everything is logged automatically. The reporting is clear, and we can finally see what’s being used and where, which saves us time chasing things down. Customer support is excellent as well, they always respond quickly and actually help, which is rare these days.

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

The initial setup took a bit of time because we had to enter a lot of data upfront, but once that was done, everything ran smoothly, support helped us import our existing spreadsheet which sped it up a lot. There are a few features we’d love to see in the future, like more integration options with other systems, but nothing that’s a deal breaker.

**What problems is MapTrack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to spend hours trying to track down tools and equipment, and things would regularly go missing. That cost us both time and money. MapTrack has solved that by giving us clear visibility of where everything is and who has it. It’s reduced asset losses, improved accountability across the team, and saved us a lot of admin time. Now we can focus on the job instead of chasing gear.

Improved Reliability: The system is a significant upgrade from using an unreliable Excel spreadsheet, solving issues like worn-out serial numbers and inaccurate tracking.

Highly Customizable: The ability to tailor the system to your specific operational needs.

Enhanced Accountability: The "Activity" function provides automated record-keeping, which has improved accountability among tool users.

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

Initial Effort: The initial data input of the system required some effort.
Primary image : I would love the ability to select a 'cover photo' for each asset that appears on the tool list. This would make quickly scanning and identifying tools much easier.

**What problems is MapTrack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing our company's tools with an Excel spreadsheet was proving to be unreliable. We frequently ran into issues with tool serial numbers wearing out, making it impossible to accurately track specific items, especially when we had multiples of the same model. Furthermore, the lack of a change log meant there was no accountability for modifications made to the spreadsheet. This prompted me to search for a more advanced tool management system. Finding Maptrack was a turning point. A conversation with Lachlan from their Customer Support team confirmed it was the precise solution we needed.

Maptrack has been a game-changer for our asset management! Its highly customizable nature allowed us to tailor the system to our specific operational needs. While the initial setup took some effort, the process of assigning assets is now incredibly streamlined. The system’s reliability has been a significant upgrade from our old spreadsheets, and the 'Activity' function (automated record-keeping) has greatly enhanced accountability among our tool assignees and users.

I am particularly impressed with the Maptrack team's proactive approach to updates and their openness to customer feedback. Lachlan has been a valuable resource, providing quick and effective support for any issues we've encountered. Thanks to Maptrack, our company now manages tools far more effectively, and we are extremely pleased with the results.

**What do you like best about MapTrack?**

I appreciate the smooth and intuitive setup process of MapTrack, which was quick once I understood the framework. The support team is exceptional, providing knowledgeable and quick responses and consistently improving features. The software's usability is phenomenal, easy to navigate without a steep learning curve. Its bulk scanning feature saves significant time, efficiently handling asset assignments. QR code functionalities on-site streamline pre-start checklists and maintenance requests. Even unexpected capabilities, like staff management, offer flexibility and integration potential. Everything described is delivered with excellent support.

Best features are: 
the database allowing myself to see where all current tools area spread between multiple sites.
Ease of setting up each new item to track with the use of a simple/durable barcode.

No complaints here! everything has been quick and simple to implement

Lost/unaccounted for tools, and assisting in relocation of tools to alternate sites when required

**What do you like best about MapTrack?**

Tool management. QR tags on every above ground and inground equipment, guys scan in 3 seconds. Dashboard shows who has what, where.  Zero lost tools now. 5/5.

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

Only downfall i would say there isn't a real-time GPS tracking, but I'm confident in the future Map track will be the first ones onto this new tech.

Its helping us through tool management

Accessing Asset information like servicing/repair history, condition, last user, important user guides and other documentation for any asset is literally one click away on your phone.

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

We had some small challenges building our asset database, purely due to the obscure nature of our business and it's assets/equipment.

**What problems is MapTrack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking where, who and why. 
Being able to access service and repair docs for user reference and in the event of site audits.
Tracking condition throughout the life of the asset.
Determining who, where and how any damages are caused to assist in prolonging the life of our assets.

**What do you like best about MapTrack?**

It's reliable, easy to use, and gives a clear view of asset usage and location. For tooling, it's made a big difference in reducing loss and improving accountability, and it was straightforward to implement without needing much setup.

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

Nothing major stands out. It's done the job well for what we use it for. Any small issues we've come across have been easy to work around or get support on.

Helps us stay in control of our tools and supports the compliance side by sending reminders and email alerts, making it easy to stay on top of inspections and servicing.

**What do you like best about MapTrack?**

Easy to setup and use, everything just works they way you'd expect. Before using it, we struggled with misplaced or unaccounted-for equipment across multiple sites. Now we track the location and status of every bit of gear. The MapTrack team were very responsive and always helped right away with any questions.

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

We are keen for it to integrate with MYOB to track the costs of assets on projects but the team said this might be a few months away.

**What problems is MapTrack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have full visibility over our tools, equipment, and vehicles, which has helped reduce loss, improve accountability, and handle servicing and compliance. It’s simple enough for our construction & maintenance teams to use, but powerful enough to manage hundreds of assets across multiple sites.

**What do you like best about MapTrack?**

i’ve been using Maptrack for 1.5 years to track my tools, equipment and a some light vehicles, and I couldn’t be happier - they've done everything said they would. 

The setup was quick, and the software has proven to be exactly what we needed. The team actually use this system rather than the old one we were using before. The team  found the app easy to use and any new guys find it easy to learn. 

Whenever we have had a question the Maptrack guys are available on the phone, they have also sent across some custom guided videos for us and even came out onsite a couple times. 

5/5 stars!

**What do you dislike about MapTrack?**

Would like the GPS geo-fencing to automatically alert me via a text message when our gear leaves site. Currently they only do email alerts for the geofencing

**What problems is MapTrack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us get control of our tools, small plant & light vehicles. Helps us reduce asset spend & time wasted looking for our gear
