What I like best about IBM Maximo Application Suite is its robust asset management and maintenance planning capabilities. It provides a centralized platform to manage the full asset lifecycle — from acquisition to disposal — while also tracking maintenance history, work orders, and performance metrics.
Its ability to integrate maintenance with inventory management ensures that spare parts are available when needed, reducing equipment downtime. The automated work order scheduling and real-time tracking of tasks improve operational efficiency and help prioritize maintenance based on asset condition and criticality.
In short, Maximo helps drive predictive maintenance, extend asset life, and reduce costs — all of which are critical for a plant or facility environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While IBM Maximo is a powerful tool, one thing I dislike is that the user interface can be complex and not very intuitive, especially for new or occasional users. It often requires multiple clicks to complete basic tasks, and without proper training, navigating between modules can be overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
