“Agentforce Field Service: Bridging the Gap Between Digital AI and Physical Fixes.”
What do you like best about Agentforce Field Service (formerly Salesforce Field Service)?

1. Autonomous Dispatch & Triage

The most powerful aspect is that Agentforce doesn't just wait for a ticket; it can "reason" through a problem before a human is even involved.

What it solves: In traditional Field Service, a dispatcher has to manually assign a technician based on skills and location.

The Best Part: Agentforce can analyze a customer's issue, check if the parts are in stock, and autonomously book the technician with the right "Skill Set." It essentially acts as a Digital Dispatcher that never sleeps.

2. Proactive Maintenance (The IoT Link)

Field Service is best when it’s "Predictive" rather than "Reactive."

The Best Part: By linking Data Cloud with IoT sensors on physical equipment, Agentforce can detect that a machine is about to fail and automatically generate a work order.

Your Developer Angle: You can use OmniStudio Integration Procedures to pull this IoT data into Salesforce, allowing the Agentforce engine to make real-time decisions on when to send a technician. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Field Service (formerly Salesforce Field Service)?

1. The "Mobile Latency" Gap

Field Service is only as good as the technician’s mobile experience.

The Issue: The Field Service Mobile app can feel slow or "clunky" when trying to load heavy Agentforce assistant logic, especially in low-connectivity areas (like basements or remote sites).

Architectural Pain: If your LWC or OmniStudio components are too "heavy," they can cause the app to lag or crash during critical on-site repairs.

2. High Implementation Complexity

It is definitely not "plug-and-play."

The Issue: Setting up Autonomous Scheduling requires an incredibly high level of data hygiene. If your Service Territories, Skills, and Work Types aren't perfectly mapped, the AI will make illogical dispatch decisions (e.g., sending a technician 2 hours away for a 15-minute job).

The Struggle: You often need a dedicated specialist just to tune the "Scheduling Recipes" so the AI understands your business's unique trade-offs (like prioritizing SLAs over travel mileage). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Agentforce Field Service (formerly Salesforce Field Service) solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. Solving the "Administrative Drag"The Problem: Field technicians typically lose up to a full day every week to administrative tasks—filling out reports, searching for manuals, and manual data entry. The Benefit: Agentforce automates the "paperwork" through voice-powered forms and automated pre-work briefs. For a developer, this means you can build LWCs that act as intelligent assistants, summarizing job history or safety notes instantly, allowing the tech to focus on the repair rather than the record-keeping.

2. Solving "Reactive" Scheduling BottlenecksThe Problem: Traditional scheduling is reactive. If a job runs long or a tech is stuck in traffic, a human dispatcher has to manually shuffle the board, often leading to missed SLAs.The Benefit: Agentforce introduces Autonomous Scheduling. It "reasons" through real-time traffic, technician proximity, and part availability to optimize routes on the fly. This benefits you by providing a much more robust data set to build against—allowing you to create more sophisticated scheduling visualizations or custom optimization logic. “Streamlines Scheduling and Field Operations Efficiently”
What do you like best about Jobber?

I like that Jobber is really easy to use both on the computer in the office and on the field, which makes my work much easier. Especially in the field, it is very simple to use, and everything we need is right there. The clients can sign, we can bill, and they can pay on-site, all seamlessly. It's amazing how all the essential information is available, showing what needs to be done. The easy-to-use scheduling dashboard allows us to reassign technicians to tasks and reschedule customers effortlessly. I appreciate how we can set aside customers to be scheduled later without losing track of them. Invoicing is really easy too, with options to send off payments and remind customers via text messages and email confirmations, all integrated nicely. The switch from Workiz was also smooth and quick, with all onboarding done in a day, making Jobber a good decision for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jobber?

The only thing I think is the maintenance agreement program. That needs to be honed in a little bit more. It can get confusing if you set it up as a recurring job. It should be a standalone process for just service agreements, so that our customers it's easy to navigate for them, and it's easy for us to know that there's a maintenance agreement customer that's due for service or needs to get their percentage discount as part of the membership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jobber solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Jobber to schedule online, handle sales, estimates, quotes, and invoicing. It's easy to use both in the office and field, enabling clients to sign, bill, and pay on-site. Scheduling is flexible, and communication is seamless through integrated texting and emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Strong Support For Service Sales And Maintenance Account Planning”
What do you like best about Zapium?

Zapium helps me connect customer service requirements with commercial follow-up. When a service visit, inspection, breakdown observation, or maintenance recommendation is recorded, I can use that information to plan the next discussion with the customer. It gives better context for proposing maintenance work, spare replacement, additional service visits, or long-term support contracts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zapium?

The sales view can be improved with more account-level summaries, such as open service recommendations, quotation stage, expected closure month, and customer-wise maintenance potential in one screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Zapium solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zapium helps convert service information into structured sales action. Instead of depending only on memory, calls, or scattered notes, I can refer to actual service records and inspection observations while following up with customers. This improves the quality of maintenance discussions, makes proposals more relevant, and helps account managers coordinate better with service and operations teams. I can spend less time creating a form and more time teaching. The initial setup was very easy; it only took a few minutes, and I was able to create everything I needed. What do you dislike about Jotform?

I don't like that you are limited to 100 submissions a month on the free plan. I understand that a business has to make money, so there have to be limitations on a free plan, but limiting to 100 submissions a month is quite small. They could possibly limit the number of forms, which they do already, but allow more submissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Simplified my day to day, and saved a lot of time”
What do you like best about MotionOps?

The biggest win for me is having everything in one place. Before this, our job info was scattered across texts, notes, photos, and a couple of spreadsheets. With MotionOps, the crew finally sees the same details I see - job notes, pictures, schedules, all of it. It cuts down on the “what’s the address again?” calls during the day. The mobile app is simple enough that even the guys who hate using anything tech-related can actually use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MotionOps?

I wouldn't call it a dislike, but it did take us some time to let go of our old habits. For me, not relying on at least five spreadsheets was a completely new experience. However, after spending just 15 minutes with it, I quickly got the hang of things. Honestly, the transition has been much smoother than I expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MotionOps solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scheduling and communication were our biggest headaches. Jobs would change last minute, and half the crew wouldn’t get the update. We also had issues with lost job notes and delayed invoicing because we had to chase down details after the fact.

Now everything is logged right away - hours, notes, photos - and I can invoice faster because I’m not guessing what actually happened on the job. The team shows up better prepared and we waste less time driving back to grab something we forgot. MotionOps just makes the day run tighter and saves me a ton of back and forth. The ability to show our customers every aspect of their system through detailed workflows, videos, pictures, and plenty of supporting details has the biggest impact. It helps clearly explain why we’re recommending specific improvements and enhancements. We also use XOI workflows internally for oversight, parts ordering and receiving, vehicle inspections, and system surveys for new equipment. The equipment capture and the databases we create are extremely useful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about XOi?

The Virtual Mentor Center has both pros and cons. Virtual troubleshooting can lead to great advice, but it can also result in a completely wrong diagnosis because it depends heavily on the information my field team provides. The initial setup was also time-consuming, since creating and adjusting workflows requires fully manual input, and we often need to make changes after getting feedback from team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is XOi solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use XOi to reduce paper use while documenting service calls and maintenance more effectively. It’s customizable, making it easier to manage equipment data so we can reliably track service history and identify equipment replacement needs without hassle. It is a great tool for verifying completed work and for interacting with clients when they have questions after physical site visits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Optimized Routes That Keep Deliveries On Schedule”
What do you like best about Route4Me?

What I like the most about Route4Me is how easy it is to create optimized routes in just a few minutes. The mobile app is simple for drivers to use, the navigation is reliable, and it saves us time every day. During our busiest pickup and delivery days, instead of manually deciding the order of stops, Route4Me automatically creates an efficient route, which saves our drivers time and reduces unnecessary backtracking. Since we use it through a third party provider, the biggest benefit for us is receiving optimized routes that are already organized efficiently, which helps our pickup and delivery operations stay on schedule and allows us to serve more customers each day. The optimized routes are well organized and help keep our pickup and delivery schedule efficient. They reduce unnecessary driving and make our daily operation run smoothly. It eliminates time spent manually planning routes, reduces unnecessary driving, lowers fuel costs, and helps our drivers stay on schedule. The initial setup had a bit of a learning curve, but our team picked up quickly. Once everything was in place, it became easy to use and fit well into our daily operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Route4Me?

I'd like to see road closure information kept more up to date. Sometimes, even after we report changes to Google, the updates don't happen as quickly as we'd like, which can affect our routing. More timely map updates would make the routes even more reliable. The initial setup also had a bit of a learning curve, though our team picked it up quickly. Since we use Route4Me through a third-party provider, we don't have access to all the driver features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Route4Me solving and how is that benefiting you?

Route4Me eliminates time spent manually planning routes, reduces unnecessary driving, lowers fuel costs, and helps our drivers stay on schedule. “Dynamic Scheduling and Mobile Support Enhance Service Efficiency”
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I like ServiceNow Field Service Management for managing service requests, technician scheduling, and work order tracking because it gives good visibility in task progress. The dynamic scheduling feature is good and helps assign the right technician based on availability, skills, and location, which improves response time and reduces manual coordination. Work order management centralizes service requests, task updates, priorities, and status tracking in one place, making operations more organized and easier to monitor. Mobile support for technicians is especially useful since field staff can access job details, update task progress, capture notes or images, and communicate in real-time directly from mobile devices while on-site. It works well when integrated with other ServiceNow modules and internal business tools for better workflow management and coordination. Overall, the experience has been good, and I would definitely recommend it, rating it a 10 for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

One thing I feel could be better is the learning curve. Since the platform has many features and configurations, it takes some time for new users to get comfortable with it. Sometimes the setup and customization part can also feel a bit complex, especially during the initial implementation. Apart from that, the overall experience has been good, but a more beginner-friendly interface and simpler onboarding would make it even better. This is my opinion only. What do you like best about Badger Maps?

The Infield app that mirrors my activity in the office on my computer is very helpful. The program is easy to navigate for creating trips, making changes, and downloading lists for record keeping and expense reports. Customer Care is always readily available to help, even when I’m out in the field. Training sessions with Michael have also been very helpful in maximizing the tool for our unique needs. We used to use MapQuest until they closed shop. I didn’t like the other programs that were recommended, so I started my own search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Badger Maps?

I am old school and still like having a printed copy of my larger map for a multi-day trip. I do wish I could select an option to list the last name of account next to the red locator. MapQuest did offer that function. There is also not a way to export the Map. I have to use the snip it tool and paste it on a word document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Badger Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Intuitive platform with a lot of flexibility.”
What do you like best about MobiWork?

The platform is intuitive and easily adjustable. It takes little to no time to add, remove, import orders into the system and optimize each drivers day. The ability to customize each work order type has been vital allowing us to ensure proper forms are being used for each job. It has far more flexibility than other scheduling software's I have used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MobiWork?

Outside the rare outage I have not had many complaints. It would be nice to be able to build forms easier such as inspections and incorporate that with the inventory sales. For example if I create an order for a lock change to be able to create an inspection form with required photos that includes marking the inventory used so that the final report not only shows what was done at the property, but what inventory can be billed for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Reliable, Low-Maintenance Route Optimisation That Pays for Itself”
What do you like best about OptimoRoute?

We run wholesale frozen fruit and food distribution across Victoria, so getting drivers to the right doors in the right order, within the right time windows, is the whole game. OptimoRoute has become one of those tools we genuinely don't have to think about, which is about the highest praise I can give a piece of software.

The interface is clean and gets out of your way. Planning a day's routes is straightforward, and when we need to step in manually by dragging a stop or locking a sequence, it's easy enough that anyone on the team can pick it up without a long training curve. But the real value is in the optimisation itself. It juggles time windows, vehicle constraints and stop counts and hands back routes tighter than anything we'd build by hand. For time-sensitive deliveries that matters a lot. Fewer kilometres, less time on the road, exactly what we want.

It's also rock solid. We plan daily and it just works. I can't remember the last time it gave us grief, which is why it sits firmly in the "leave it alone" category of our stack. Part of that is how cleanly it slots into our workflow via the API, so orders flow through to routing without a lot of manual handling. It plays nicely with the rest of our systems rather than forcing us to bend around it.

On cost, it pays for itself comfortably. The savings in driver hours, fuel and kilometres more than cover it. (Tom, a rough figure on km or hours saved would make this land harder if you've got one.) And getting there was painless. Setup was smooth and support has been responsive the few times we've needed it. No drama, no chasing.

Overall, it's reliable, smart and low-maintenance. If you're running multi-stop delivery routing and want something that quietly earns its keep, it's an easy recommendation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OptimoRoute?

Honestly there isn't a lot to fault. If I had to pick something, the reporting is a touch shallow when you want to dig into the numbers properly, and a few of the features we'd like sit on the pricier tiers. Neither is a dealbreaker, and neither has ever stopped us getting the day's routes out the door. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OptimoRoute solving and how is that benefiting you?

The core problem it solves for us is route planning at scale. We deliver frozen product to a lot of stops across Victoria every week, all with their own time windows, and building those routes by hand was slow and never as tight as it should be. OptimoRoute takes the order list and turns it into efficient, sequenced runs in minutes, which frees up time we used to lose to planning and gets the drivers out the door sooner.

The flow-on benefits are the ones that actually matter to the business. Tighter routes mean fewer kilometres and fewer driver hours, which keeps our delivery costs down. Hitting time windows reliably keeps customers happy and keeps a temperature-sensitive product moving rather than sitting in a warm truck longer than it needs to. And because the planning is largely hands-off now, it's one less thing the team has to babysit each day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?

I love the fact that Appenate eliminates the need for using two different software by allowing us to put reports, photos, videos, and attachments all in one place. The customer service is also a standout feature for me; Lisa and Charlie are the best and go above and beyond for any question or problem I have. They are always happy to help and never seem annoyed by anything I ask, always diving right into it. Switching to Appenate from Adobe also gave us better customer service support and helped us bring our vision to life with a fresh new template. The initial setup was very easy, and on a scale from 1 to 10, I'm at a 10 in terms of recommending Appenate to a friend or colleague. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?

The app on the phone could be improved to be more versatile. It needs to be more user-friendly, as currently, you have to log into the desktop to see everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
