I like that it provides more than a typical CRM. It allows me to track and manage relationships with more in-depth features. Some of the most important features include referrals, billing, and reporting forms all in the same system. This tool allows these items to be found all in one place rather than having to use multiple systems to manage these needs.
What do you dislike?
eIS provides support for both English and French languages, which is a real selling point. But for us, it is a real drawback for it not to provide support in Spanish as well. With a large population of Spanish speaking students and employees, it is difficult to not have that support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend evaluating all systems you currently use and making a list of your needs so that you can determine if it is right for you and so that you understand how to integrate it into most effectively into your daily tasks. We are still discovering all it can do!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
In addition to the many other uses it has, one of the things eIS could potentially be used for is the large conference we host. It was not originally considered for this reason, but as we explore the capabilities, this could be the answer. We have struggled to find an information management tool that could also do registration and billing and this tool could be the solution!
