Legacy ERP systems aren't flexible enough for manufacturing execution systems (MES). Plant floor information available post-production after the fact doesn't help you control output. Plex MES gives you real-time production management so you have up-to-the-minute manufacturing data for end-to-end inventory visibility and closed-loop control.
Cheap? It's really hard to come up with good things. It's like a college student's implementation of an MES for his senior design project.
What do you dislike?
Barely qualifies as an MES. Does not provide any documentation and they don't keep track of their own endpoints. They have multiple end points to same things and will charge you $5-$10k for something that you did not see. I can go on, but don't feel like venting for an hour. Oh it's out of the 90's.

Don't get it. Consider the open source choices and do more reasearch. If you can afford it, read more about SAP or just go open source.
