Overall, It's very affordable for small manufacturing businesses yet packed with features and flexibility usually available only with expensive ERP systems. But it's the attention to detail in terms of data, functionality, and workflow that made me fall in love with it. As with any resource planning software - the key to success is understating, planning, and implementing the data architecture that is right for your business. From templates, video instruction, documentation to friendly and helpful onboarding assistance from real people, MRPeasy helps you get things right the first time. The fact that it integrates with QBO and other accounting packages is a huge plus. That you can track backwards from specific finished product lots to specific ingredient lots really helps out consumer packaged food manufactures who heed this ability as part of their HAACP plan. There are a few interface quirks that can be annoying: Can't re-schedule an MO from the MO itself - need to move them around in the calendar view; CRM module is awkward, and not really of much use unless you plan to use it as your primary CRM. What we liked is not having a steep learning curve to learn the ins and outs of the software. As all of us know, adopting to a new software takes time, they are not one size fits all since it's not custom made to our specific needs. However, MRPeasy comes close and does a very commendable job in making our company better in terms of inventory, production and so forth. What we like best about MRPeasy is how easy it has been to manage so many parts of our business in one system. We are an educational manufacturer of rock, mineral, and fossil kits with a large inventory, and MRPeasy has helped us stay organized throughout the entire process from raw materials to finished products. The inventory control, manufacturing tracking, purchase orders, and invoicing features have all been very helpful. We also appreciate the integration with QuickBooks, which allows invoice information to transfer automatically into our bookkeeping system. What do you dislike about MRPeasy? There is honestly not much we dislike about MRPeasy itself. Most of the challenges we have experienced have been related more to the integration with QuickBooks than MRPeasy directly. For example, if a payment is deposited in our bank before we close out the invoice in MRPeasy, QuickBooks can sometimes generate a duplicate invoice entry when the information syncs over later. This requires some manual cleanup in QuickBooks. That said, the issue is more about workflow timing between systems than a problem with MRPeasy itself. MRPeasy has helped us organize and streamline many parts of our manufacturing and inventory process that previously would have been difficult to manage manually. As an educational manufacturer of rock, mineral, and fossil kits, we deal with a large inventory of raw materials, packaging components, and finished products. MRPeasy allows us to track inventory levels, manage purchasing, generate invoices and purchase orders, and monitor the entire manufacturing workflow from raw materials to completed kits. One of the biggest benefits has been having everything centralized in one system. It has improved our organization, reduced mistakes, and made it much easier to understand where materials and products are at any point in the process. The integration with QuickBooks has also helped simplify our bookkeeping workflow by automatically transferring invoice information between systems. If you require an alert for low stock levels, you need to define a Reorder point for the item, and then, once the "Available" quantity goes below the set "Reorder point, the item will appear in the Stock -\> Critical on-hand report. From that report, you can easily generate a Manufacturing order for the required products. The software has been built in a way that you don't require huge set-up fees to implement which is one of the biggest frictions for start-ups that are bootstrapping. Their customer support is also efficient and prompt in addressing queries although I must say that their in-built AI chatbot on the website usually suffice. This makes it super easy to implement with our existing systems. We use MRPEasy everyday for all our orders processing.
