What do you like best about Tulip?

What I like most about Tulip is how easy it is to use and edit. The platform has a clean, intuitive interface, which makes building and maintaining applications straightforward even for complex use cases. Integration with other systems is also very smooth, allowing us to connect devices and external services quickly without unnecessary complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

One area that could be improved is the expression handling in triggers. While powerful, it can feel a bit cumbersome to use, and smarter or more user-friendly expression building would make complex logic easier to manage. Additionally, Tulip Tables could be more robust, especially when working with larger or more complex datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Describe the project or task Tulip helped with:

Tulip offers a comprehensive platform for digitizing shop-floor operations, enabling teams to create custom applications without extensive coding. The platform supports a wide range of use cases, including digital work instructions, quality inspections, production tracking, and real-time visibility.

Tulip's low-code approach allows for rapid application development, making it easier for manufacturing teams to adapt to changing needs and integrate with existing systems. The platform's flexibility and scalability make it suitable for both small-scale implementations and complex enterprise deployments.

With Tulip, organizations can improve data accuracy, reduce manual work, and standardize processes, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and supporting digital transformation initiatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tulip?

What I like best about Tulip is its **low-code, flexible approach to manufacturing digitization**. It enables teams to quickly build and customize frontline applications for shop-floor operations without heavy development effort. This is particularly valuable for use cases such as digital work instructions, production tracking, quality inspections, traceability, and real-time shop-floor visibility.

From a digital transformation and presales perspective, I also appreciate how Tulip helps bridge the gap between IT and OT, integrate with existing enterprise systems such as ERP/MES, and deliver measurable improvements without requiring a complete replacement of existing systems. I believe Tulip provides good value for the investment, particularly for organizations looking to accelerate shop-floor digitalization without undertaking a large, lengthy MES implementation. The low-code platform helps reduce application development time, supports rapid POCs, and enables manufacturing teams to digitize processes such as work instructions, quality, traceability, and production monitoring.

The value is strongest when the platform is used across multiple use cases and sites, because the benefits from faster deployment, reduced manual work, improved data visibility, and standardized processes can outweigh the licensing and implementation costs. For complex enterprise deployments, however, the overall ROI depends on integration effort, user adoption, and the scale of deployment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
