I also love being able to export a lot of information into Excel. Labor tracking is very useful as well. **What do you dislike about Kinetic?** I dislike the reports that come out of the box. It is also not always user friendly. **What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are in the process of trying to use Epicor to help us with supply chain management as well as streamlining manufacturing schedules. We are beginning to see the benefits of using MRP although we still have a long way to go to use it correctly. ### 2. There are too many steps and screens involved in repairs. We have approx 100 serialized items that come to our shop for repair without prior notice. Each repair takes approx 20 minutes, with very little revenue per repair. This means that we need a one step process to take in the product and add parts for repair. **What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time Phased reporting has allowed us to keep our inventory at optimum levels. ### 5. It allows you to search, in detail, everything related to a job down to a T. Paying Invoices is also easier, as Purchase Order Entry, Invoice Entry, Receipt Entry, etc. are all quite simple and easy to use. These software components have improved workflow in our industry, and helped to make our employees more efficient. **What do you dislike about Kinetic?** I dislike that from time to time the software will crash unexpectedly, but such is the nature of a cloud based platform. I also dislike that when there are problems with the software, getting a fix from the company can take weeks, sometimes longer. **Recommendations to others considering Kinetic:** If you don't have high speed internet access available, I would recommend the standard version of this software. You do not have to worry about Epicor updating their servers and causing you to lose what you are in the process of completing. **What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?** As mentioned before, we have solved efficiency needs. Management console has remained defective without proper addressing from our Epicor partners for over two years. Upgrades are easy, but not straightforward. **Recommendations to others considering Kinetic:** Find a solid 3rd party consultant, we did not have a good experience with inside consulting resources.
