Lineview is incredibly insightful -it provides detailed, real-time visibility into every aspect of machine performance, down to the second. This level of detail makes it much easier to understand what’s happening on the line and identify opportunities for improvement.

I really appreciate LineView's feature of automatic categorization of losses, which significantly simplifies the identification of inefficiencies in our manufacturing line. I find the overview in LineView sometimes overwhelming and confusing, especially with the many colors used, which make it hard to distinguish different elements. Additionally, on the main screen, I cannot see what mode is running, which is crucial for my workflow. Technically, I feel some improvements could be made, like allowing losses to be merged by drag and drop and making it easier to change modes retrospectively using a dropdown menu instead of inputting dates and times manually. Helps pull through essential data on asset downtime, which, in turn allows the line to direct focus towards specific assets through the use of SIC's. Lineview have also been helpful in allowing us to capture data from potentially missing categories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the PLC codes do not seem to pick up properly for specific assets on our line. This results in potentially skewed data as its solely relying on what someone puts in, rather than being able to trace back to a fault code. This is more at risk of happening if operators are having issues on an asset and it takes them a while to get round to filling in comments. The tool makes it much easier to understand what’s happening on the production line in real time. It’s very user-friendly, so both operators and leadership can quickly see performance and identify issues. It’s been a solid support in driving awareness and improvements across the line. One of the current challenges is that the system doesn’t yet change SKUs automatically, which would make the process more seamless.
