Logistics companies should look for EDI software that supports both document exchange and operational visibility. Common logistics workflows include shipment status updates, warehouse shipping orders, shipment confirmations, invoices, load tenders, carrier updates, and customer-specific EDI requirements.

Cleo Integration Cloud is a strong fit for logistics and 3PL teams because it supports EDI, API, AS2, SFTP, and managed file transfer workflows while connecting with TMS, WMS, ERP, carrier, customer, and partner systems. The value is not just document translation - it is being able to see where a transaction is, whether it failed, which partner or system is involved, and what needs to happen next.

For logistics providers managing many customers or trading partners, prioritize partner onboarding, real-time transaction visibility, exception management, and integration flexibility.
