"Rendezvous Event Management Software Implementation"
What do you like best about Korbyt?

Rendezvous is an event management and room reservation software. My company recently implemented Rendezvous for over 100 conference rooms in two separate conference centers. Each of these centers had their own rules: one allowed users to reserve rooms directly while the other had a combination of these and rooms that had to be booked by an admin through a request. We also implemented catering for one of the centers.

Rendezvous was able to support these various requirements. I have been impressed with its ease of use and depth of functionality.

Due to the multiple conference centers, we also had multiple SME's that were engaged for requirements. Some of these SME's were more engaged than others and the Rendezvous implementation team was extremely patient with us. They were very professional and knowledgeable of the product and were able to lead us through all implementation stages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Korbyt?

Rendezvous is a versatile product and meets all of our configuration requirements. The only thing I would change about it is the security architecture. Rendezvous relies on client AD groups to manage access to rooms. This adds an extra layer of complexity for the client as they now need to engage the Outlook team to manage memberships. I would prefer a design where the Rendezvous admin has the ability to assign users to groups / rooms within the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Korbyt?

Rendezvous has an easy-to-use interface which is available through the web, mobile devices, and they have integrations in Outlook and Crestron. The ease of use and accessibility of the ability make it very easy to implement and train users. There are also numerous ways to customize the application (e.g., conditional email notifications, room layouts, granular user permissions, etc.) which make it easy to customize Rendezvous for your workflows and processes. What do you dislike about Korbyt?

Rendezvous works very well for our needs, but there are some changes and improvements that could be made to improve the user experience and functionality of the platform (e.g., process to add pins to floor maps, making enhancements to document uploads, auto expanding questionnaires, etc.). What do you like best about Korbyt?

Rondezvous is a system that can house all your venues and mange each venue individually with each venues requirements. central system that can be worked on by large teams at the same time. we run the system in 4 offices around teh country. We are managing a total of 360 meeting rooms and venues. Back up support is one call away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Korbyt?

When one updates prices they dont update in bookings that are already made but only future bookings. But i suppose this wont suite every venue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Korbyt?

What do you dislike about Korbyt?

My biggest complaint is when you update the Resource information, add/remove a room, it is not automatically updated due, so your support staff says, because of their Favorites! It's not useful for me to update and the users, do not automatically get that update. They have to recreate their favorite to see the updates? I want auto updates. Their favorite is a location they work at, the rooms should update within their favorites. I have to send an email saying the rooms have been updated, do these steps to see the updates! It's not good! Their favorites and room updates should be separate entities. Our visiting attorney rooms change a lot. It's annoying to have to notify everyone each time an update happens. What do you like best about Korbyt?

Our team has some desire to put in place limitations to our reservation system that are currently not available. I appreciate that when we talk with our rep they communicate those to the dev team, but there are some features we'd like to add that aren't possible at this time. What do you like best about Korbyt?

Rendezvous Workspace provide an intuitive calendar interface that make reservation management a breeze. You can quickly see what rooms are available and booked at anty given date or time. It seemlessly manages bookings between different time zones and eliminates the need for any manual calculations!

From one screen you can see which bookings are in progress and what services are required for all bookings - conference room, speciality room, visitor office or a shared hotel office.

Automatic notifications keep everyone informed of any reservation changes, and help make communication easy for the receptionists.

What do you dislike about Korbyt?

There are many different type so interfaces to Rendezvous, which can be both good and challenging - quickbook, workspace, outlook plug-in and mobile. It great that Rendezvous can be accessed from different interfaces, however, the challenge is in training our users which one is the one of them and how to use it. We're sorry to hear you've faced challenges knowing which Rendezvous Workspace range of User Interfaces (UI) is right for a user. The primary web app is generally used by admins as an overall meeting room management system. While QuickBook is a lite self-service portal preferred by end users on a desktop or tablet. Finally, our mobile app is great for on-the-go booking. We developed three UIs based on client needs over the years - to provide a complete meeting room and desk booking system.
