**What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?**

I enjoy being able to arrange my view in the dashboard, voucher batches, etc. according to the information I find most pertinent. It is very easy to print checks and format according to my needs.

**What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?**

At times it is difficult to find certain accounts or events due to the complicated filter system - sometimes the filter defaults to a certain time frame and I have to manually clear the filter field in order to continue.

**What problems is Momentus Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps solve our financial problems, making it easier to track our financials over time.

The people we've worked with from the buildout, to the implementation, to the sales team have all been incredible and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?**

Crystal reports. It is outdated and hard to learn because of that.

**What problems is Momentus Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing users to make edits to their events instead of having to email us with every small detail change is amazing. Also the ease of use with work orders and allowing staff the access to their own dashboards has really streamlined the process.

**What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?**

Every aspect of an event can be captured in this software. From the calendar, to event orders and work orders for event execution and all financial AP and AR talk to one another and ease communication and accuracy. So many aspects can be custom tailored to your needs and the interface can be customized based on the user to help keep things simply. We use the system for the minutiae planning for an event, customized event reporting, and budget/pricing/reconciliation.

**What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?**

Some of the additional features can be expensive. It would be great to have everything the software could offer, but that is often not possible for smaller organizations.

**What problems is Momentus Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of communicating in silos and having information on random files and servers, we capture everything in Momentus. This is great when digging up information from past events for logistic or financial reasons.

It gives one location for all of the information for each event.  Momentus is VERRY user friendly with lots of features for all departments.  The customer support is the best that I've ever worked with.

I haven't found anyting that Momentus hasn't put on the road map for future upgrades that I've been wanting it to do for my needs.

Momentus has streamlined and centralized everything into one spot instead of working with word & excel for settlements.  All my staff have access to all the information so the event can go on without any issues.

We would DEFINITELY prefer the reports were more easily customisable by the end user.

It's great to have a 'source of truth' for all events.  Having the reports customisable by the end user would provide impetus for more thorough use by each department.  ie. if their information is missing from our reports, it provides a push for them to inout the data correctly.

Exhibitors / Registration online portals, event scripting, inventory control, membership, internal booking and internal maintenance requests if you are creative enough, just make things easier, quicker and paperless, a seamless one stop shop experience

**What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?**

I love how much the program can do, we are able to keep incident reports and Post-show reports in the system, track attendance and revenue, house and distribute all event information via live documents that everyone has access to, and more. It really is a great system that easily allows for information to be shared with a large group of people with out having to send multiple links and create a ton of spreadsheets or documents. My venue uses this system every day without fail, and it is one of the main reasons events can run so smoothly in a multi-venue facility.

I would love to have more control over user accounts, so we can set default notifications for new users.

The Momentus program is very customizable which makes it versatile for use in large venues such as Convention Centers.

**What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?**

Pulling certain reports requires the use of third party software such as Crystal in order to see the information the way you like. However, the customer support team has been  very helpful wit this challenge.

Seamless integration from booking through invoicing, because we use the Finance module as well as booking.

Keeping all of our staff up to date and having everything for each event in one spot.

It is almost too advanced. There are many times I would like to just simply add a detail to an event and having to go through a bunch of steps to make it work.

The calendar is the biggest help but also having all the details and documentation in one spot for all of our users to have access to is fantastic.

It is very helpful in calculating event profits and losses and all reports related to the events exhibition.

The only drawback which i found is that if we forget to run the AR Adjustments Entry, the system will also not remind us before closing the month, so in that case, we can lose information

I have yet to find an upside to the new program VS our old one.

**What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?**

This product is being pushed out to us and it is still failing to work as well as the old program it replaced. 

It is too cumbersome and creates more work for everyone in my organization. We are missing vital information needed to keep track of our groups and we are spending hours of extra labor just to pull accurate reports. Considering we were promised the "stars and the moon" I am personally disappointed. This has been a huge burden to our team and operation.

It has created multiple problems and solved none so far.

It’s incredibly customizable for our needs and we were able to work with the Momentus team to create a system that connects our sales and operations work and streamlines all our event operations processes.

But don’t underestimate the effort: you’ll need dedicated change management, training, and implementation resources.

on my everyday use, I can confirm that a lot of venue/event tasks live under one roof — from sales, contracts, work orders, resource scheduling, to reporting.

getting it configured, migrating data, building workflows, etc., is laborious and resource-intensive.
not super intuitive — lots of clicks, hard to backtrack, sometimes confusing layouts. 
The “back” button behavior is sometimes counterintuitive (e.g., going back to the home page rather than the previous context) in newer versions. 
Mobile experience gets a negative note sometimes.

- The complexity to use the tool, the number of steps, some mandatory elements that cannot be changed
- Crystal Reports. How to gives the last impression of the job done to win a deal through an ugly report, looking like the document after a car check at the garage. Change to another soft', smth sexy that can customize the reports

Not a good reporting function how insert its comments as a picture format is unclear to watch it. That is the dislike things work on it.

**What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?**

The best thing about VenueOps is its sleek, clean, and modern feel. The program feels like it is current, which some of its competitors have difficulty doing. I've used other event management and booking programs in a previous venue, and both of those programs had good functionality but look overburdened with data and outdated.

**What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?**

It is missing some of the functionality and customization that I was accustomed to with previous event management and booking software I have used in other venues. It would be nice if some tweaks occurred to allow venues more internal decisions about form titles, details they'd like to pull, how to easily move and change data for price lists, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Momentus Technologies:**

I would definitely weigh this software against other industry competitors heavily. This one is sleek, modern, and easy to use but lacks some of the functionality that the heavier and more dated-looking programs have. It may come down to several demos and a lot of Q&A to determine what would better suit your team and venue.

**What problems is Momentus Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have worked through some issues with their staff that have been beneficial. They assisted us with creating a new form template that is titled Estimate instead of Invoice but contains the same information to assist us with the needs of clients who have to obtain specific wording for their purchasing and accounting processes. These tweaks on VenueOps part have been very helpful, but it would be nice to let users take care of some simple things themselves or have these basic available from the get-go instead of having to work closely on such a small customization process.

**What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?**

I like the ease of entering registrations and service orders for our exhibitors. I like having the option to copy over events from year to year.

**What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?**

I dislike only having 13 users. I dislike the higher cost of Ungerboeck compared to other event software. I dislike the difficulty people have using portal or online payment due to having to not have capital / lower case match up.

**Recommendations to others considering Momentus Technologies:**

Ungerboeck is pricey and more difficult than other software but does have good qualities.

**What problems is Momentus Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the need for participant registration and vendor / exhibitor sales and sponsorships in one platform. We have received extra training (that we had to pay for) in order to use Ungerboeck in a more productive way and to have a better understanding of everything it offers.

**What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?**

I like the ability to view the events' general overview as a whole, but there are lots of issues with the software in terms of customer service. 

**What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?**

As someone who handles a lot of customer service, I tend to have issues with this software, ranging from the fact it works poorly on smart phones and on any server other than Google Chrome in our experience. 

**Recommendations to others considering Momentus Technologies:**

Not the most user friendly software, especially when communicating with a client who is using the product and trying to navigate what they see versus what you are looking at. Not always a straightforward solution to certain registration problems. 

**What problems is Momentus Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It handles what it needs to in terms of keeping track of registrations for our events, but it is not always the most efficient and actually can create more work for our team in the long run.
