What do you like best about Humanitru?

What do you dislike about Humanitru?

The platform seems to run fairly slow. When used on multiple different systems, networks, etc. pages seem to load slowly most of the time.

Update: Our CSR reached out right away to address this and our platform's speed has improved significantly after a modification to better suit our needs. The personalized support and response times we have received have been amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Humanitru?

Out of the box Humanitru is relatively straightforward to to learn and use if you are familiar with any donor/fundraising crm system. It is simple to customize by the organization without additional fees or having to unlock features. The online interfaces for donations, registrations, and memberships are clean, and easily integrated with an organization's overall brand. Customer support is responsive, allowing for emailing of issues or questions with responses within 24 hours, often with customized video walkthroughs of how to solve the issue. What do you dislike about Humanitru?

Because Humanitru is so customizable, getting the system "set" can take some time. Some of the features are not as intuitive as other systems, but customer support is there to help you solve the challenge. The online help is not as robust (yet) for troubleshooting on your own. What do you like best about Humanitru?

Fundraising and volunteers are core to what we do at our organization. Over the past four years, we've transitioned from from an older, outdated system to Humanitru. I've been very impressed with this "all in one" solution that allows us to manage all of our donor stewardship, record every contact, manage our volunteers, set up online giving, manage events, and facilitate auctions. As someone that is new to development work, I've especially appreciated the intuitive nature of this program. Cloud based access and the ability to review our data from anywhere/everywhere is also a huge asset. Lastly, and most importantly, the founders and staff are just good, decent, well intentioned people. The COO especially has been a fantastic partner given her background in development. What do you dislike about Humanitru?

We had a problem with our online auction several year. The customer service and support that was provided by Humanitru was quite simply superb. I dislike that we had the problem, but Humanitru's response was the best customer service that I've ever received. They demonstrated ownership, learned from the issue, corrected it, and fixed it. What do you like best about Humanitru?

We switched to Humanitru about 2 years ago for our CRM at Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County.

If you are looking for personalized service and integration this is the way to go. Being assigned one staff person who worked directly with us made the learning curve and implementation way easier than I anticipated. What do you like best about Humanitru?

Humanitry has been most helpful in organizing and identifying our membership. My first impression on my first walk through on a Membership Action page was WOW, I can easily see and read everything I wanted to know about each member on their own page. A close second is how easy it is to train staff to use the Membership Action sections. Reporting capabilites continue to impress me everyday. There is a multitude of ways to manipulate and use it. Customer Service is also right at the top of what we like best about Humanitru. There are real people behind every answer that I have, either in person or a video. I choose Humanitru over some of the larger mainstream database operations for the above, but also as a growing company I sensed that they are working hard for the customer over Corporate Goals. What do you like best about Humanitru?

The integration with MailChimp provides great cross-departmental data about our constituents. I also like the Donor Insights and Stewardship Automation features. Much of the reporting is user-friendly. Finally, the ability for active members to easily register for programs and events with their email thru Evergreen via the Membership Check is a great feature. What do you dislike about Humanitru?

It's very inconvenient that certain changes to Pinecone pages require that a new link to that page be created. Our membership page has some minor mistakes but I'm resistant to ask support to correct them because I don't want to go through the hassle of updating the link everywhere it's listed on our website, front desk, etc. I don't like that we aren't able to offer coupon code to run special promotions on memberships. That was a feature we used in our old membership software that boosted new member sales. It's also unfortunate that we can't add an option to add a donation onto a ticket purchase or membership purchase, so in our software switch we've lost up to $1,000 in donations annually from patrons who were able to donate with their ticket/membership purchase in the old software. I wish the Stewardship Automation feature didn't have a limit on sends so we could use it organization-wide. I dislike that the MailChimp integration makes it hard to deduplicate constituents that have multiple emails subscribed to the newsletter. I also don't love that the system matches constituents by email, not by ID, since our database is a bit messy with emails, this means that oftentimes a transaction gets mapped to the wrong person. Pulling event reports in Evergreen feels limited in what we're able to do. One thing with reporting that I think is missing is the ability to pull reports about relationships. Finally, having the processing fees reflected in amounts makes it really difficult for our Accounting department to reconcile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Humanitru?

Humanitru is by far one of the easier platforms we’ve used to meet our donor cultivation needs. I think most notably is the level of support we’ve received from the team. What do you like best about Humanitru?

It's very clear and to me it's intuitive -- easy to add new constituents, for example. I love that I don't have to separately add workplaces and associate them individually as one does in Hubspot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humanitru?

I just mentioned Hubspot -- with Hubspot as well as every other system I've used (Salesforce, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge) you can easily tie emails to the constituent record either by tying it to the email platform or by sending it from within the platform. Neither is possible with Humanitru, and the inefficiency of adding a separate action and recording the email is a little clunky. I would also like to have the ability to develop out own donor pages, which I understand is coming in 2025. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
