**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

The ease of use, very helpful dedicated customer support, easy to navigate the system without a steep learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

The platform seems to run fairly slow. When used on multiple different systems, networks, etc. pages seem to load slowly most of the time.

Update: Our CSR reached out right away to address this and our platform's speed has improved significantly after a modification to better suit our needs. The personalized support and response times we have received have been amazing.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data and reporting have been very inconsistent and this make it difficult to understand our donor base and constituents, raise money, retain members, and track marketing efforts. Humanitru has really simplified access to necessary data and made it easier to build reports quickly and accurately. Having a dedicated place for grant tracking and prospecting, as well as task management is a huge benefit for our organization. With our last CRM we were also stuck with an outdated software and lacking support. Humanitru continues to grow and implement new features as a direct result of feedback from clients.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

Out of the box Humanitru is relatively straightforward to to learn and use if you are familiar with any donor/fundraising crm system. It is simple to customize by the organization without additional fees or having to unlock features. The online interfaces for donations, registrations, and memberships are clean, and easily integrated with an organization's overall brand. Customer support is responsive, allowing for emailing of issues or questions with responses within 24 hours, often with customized video walkthroughs of how to solve the issue.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

Because Humanitru is so customizable, getting the system "set" can take some time. Some of the features are not as intuitive as other systems, but customer support is there to help you solve the challenge. The online help is not as robust (yet) for troubleshooting on your own.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The organization had information in three different systems: one for donation, one for membership, and one for email contacts. Humanitru allowed us to bring the disparate systems together, enable seamless online donations and memberships, and get an overall picture of each consituent.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

Fundraising and volunteers are core to what we do at our organization. Over the past four years, we've transitioned from from an older, outdated system to Humanitru. I've been very impressed with this "all in one" solution that allows us to manage all of our donor stewardship, record every contact, manage our volunteers, set up online giving, manage events, and facilitate auctions. As someone that is new to development work, I've especially appreciated the intuitive nature of this program. Cloud based access and the ability to review our data from anywhere/everywhere is also a huge asset. Lastly, and most importantly,  the founders and staff are just good, decent, well intentioned people. The COO especially has been a fantastic partner given her background in development. She's become one of my favorite colleagues and a trusted collaborator. The customer service that we've received is top notch!

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

We had a problem with our online auction several year. The customer service and support that was provided by Humanitru was quite simply superb. I dislike that we had the problem, but Humanitru's response was the best customer service that I've ever received. They demonstrated ownership, learned from the issue, corrected it, and fixed it. Their handling of the problem is a model for how folks should do business.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Completely integrated all in one system that placed all of our donor, fundraising, and volunteer info in one place. The program has also allowed us to streamline processes, stop duplicate data entry, and stop using Excel to track info.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

We switched to Humanitru about 2 years ago for our CRM at Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County.
If you are looking for personalized service and integration this is the way to go. Being assigned one staff person who worked directly with us made the learning curve and implementation way easier than I anticipated. Adding in volunteer hours is a game changer to have all of information in only one data-base.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

I would like to be able to not see information I will never use. For example - we do not use RSVP's to events - if I could toggle this off that would be great.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

Humanitry has been most helpful in organizing and identifying our membership.  My first impression on my first walk through on a Membership Action page was WOW, I can easily see and read everything I wanted to know about each member on their own page.  A close second is how easy it is to train staff to use the Membership Action sections. Reporting capabilites continue to impress me everyday.  There is a multitude of ways to manipulate and use it.   Customer Service is also right at the top of what we like best about Humanitru.  There are real people behind every answer that I have, either in person or a video.   I choose Humanitru over some of the larger mainstream database operations for the above, but also as a growing company I sensed that they are working hard for the customer over Corporate Goals.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

Humanitru fits our needs as a small grassroots organization with a big reach.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous problem was related to old and free technology that did not have customer service.  The Learning/Humanitru pages are my first place for operational questions.  For additional clarification a quick email to customer support guarentees a personal reply within 30 min. or less.  It does take time and dedication to get a database to fit the goals of an organization and Humanitru staff are there every step of the way.  This is a very valuable benefit to our organization.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

The integration with MailChimp provides great cross-departmental data about our constituents. I also like the Donor Insights and Stewardship Automation features. Much of the reporting is user-friendly. Finally, the ability for active members to easily register for programs and events with their email thru Evergreen via the Membership Check is a great feature.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

It's very inconvenient that certain changes to Pinecone pages require that a new link to that page be created. Our membership page has some minor mistakes but I'm resistant to ask support to correct them because I don't want to go through the hassle of updating the link everywhere it's listed on our website, front desk, etc. I don't like that we aren't able to offer coupon code to run special promotions on memberships. That was a feature we used in our old membership software that boosted new member sales. It's also unfortunate that we can't add an option to add a donation onto a ticket purchase or membership purchase, so in our software switch we've lost up to $1,000 in donations annually from patrons who were able to donate with their ticket/membership purchase in the old software. I wish the Stewardship Automation feature didn't have a limit on sends so we could use it organization-wide. I dislike that the MailChimp integration makes it hard to deduplicate constituents that have multiple emails subscribed to the newsletter. I also don't love that the system matches constituents by email, not by ID, since our database is a bit messy with emails, this means that oftentimes a transaction gets mapped to the wrong person. Pulling event reports in Evergreen feels limited in what we're able to do. One thing with reporting that I think is missing is the ability to pull reports about relationships.  Finally, having the processing fees reflected in amounts makes it really difficult for our Accounting department to reconcile.

We adopted Humanitru because it is a more user-friendly CRM than our previous software, and way easier to navigate for the customer than they previously experienced.

I appreciate that I consistently feel supported by Humanitru, & I feel that they will answer questions when I have them.

The reporting features took a bit of trial and error to learn. I specifically find the need to choose what fields to show after running a report a bit cumbersome.

The team at Humanitru seriously considers feature requests and is actively interested in how I routinely use their service, and what I wish I could use it for. They listen and strive to implement new features how their users want them, with real, genuine feedback.

Constituent identification is dependent on emails, which for some of our constituents is difficult, as some people do not wish to provide them, which forces me to use a placeholder email to nowhere on occasion.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping great track of our supporters and letting us run specialized reports to see what campaigns are performing well and could be expanded. It also replaced our previous tracking system for volunteer hours, and works great for that as well.

Humanitru is by far one of the easier platforms we’ve used to meet our donor cultivation needs. I think most notably is the level of support we’ve received from the team. Responses are swift and there hasn’t been an issue we could not resolve. Definitely recommend.

Not so much dislike but learning the language used within and to refer to aspects of the platform took some getting used to and was not as quick as I’d like.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

It's very clear and to me it's intuitive -- easy to add new constituents, for example. I love that I don't have to separately add workplaces and associate them individually as one does in Hubspot.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

I just mentioned Hubspot -- with Hubspot as well as every other system I've used (Salesforce, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge) you can easily tie emails to the constituent record either by tying it to the email platform or by sending it from within the platform. Neither is possible with Humanitru, and the inefficiency of adding a separate action and recording the email is a little clunky. I would also like to have the ability to develop out own donor pages, which I understand is coming in 2025.

The volunteer portal is huge for us. We have a very large number of volunteers, volunteer projects, and volunteer hours. Last year we had over 1000 individual volunteer projects. I would hate to think of managing our volunteers without Humanitru!

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

Filtering featuers pretty rubust. I like the ability to create unlimited customizable fields that fit what you need to track.  Responsive customer support is nice.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

There is not standardization in the system of fields - meaning if I want all my constituent names to be formated the same the system can't standardize that, I have to with entering the information. The unique idintifer for contituentes is an email address so I wish that it would flag any new constituents being added with the same email address.  Also wish there spouses had an extra selection in relationships and that the system would automatically put all campagin information (gifts, contact, etc) on both spouses cards. I wish donations tracked in a different area then emails, letters, and other corrispondance.

Humanitru helps us track donations coming into the organziation, and to segment our constituentes in approriate ways for mailings, invite lists, etc.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

This CRM is a dream come true for development. Between the email nudges, insights, and stewardship it's like having a third employee. The integrations with other platforms are seamless. Very customizable. Constituent profiles are set up like a timeline, super easy to navigate. The Humanitru team is always available and quick to respond. The search bar might be the best part - you can search a name, number, address, the fragment of a name and it'll find what you're looking for.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

Ideal for development and uses integrations for other necessary applications. Fairly new, so additions are being introduced and improved in real-time.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to add a monthly membership option to our fundraising choices. Weekly nudges sent to you with data on constituents - almost lapsed, renewed, etc. Improved emails through MailChimp. MUCH easier and concise reporting.

The staff at Humanitru is extremely helpful in training your organization on how to use the database, customizing reports and certain functions for your organization's needs, and helping set up various integrations. Our organization uses the system every day to run reports and do mailings. Over the past several months, Humanitru has worked closely with us to clean up our data and optimize our reporting/mailing strategies. There is a lot this system is capable of doing, and it continues to grow each year.

The system is not the most intuitive, but once you learn how to use it, you will find all of the features you need. They are also constantly updating their features to make it easier to use. Having been a long-time partner, it has continued to improved since we started working with them.

Humanitru is helping us integrate all of our systems so they work together and help us steward visitors, members, and donors. It is also helping us track and clean outdated data.

Easy to look up constituents and group them together for a mailing merge, whether its for memberships or donations.

Humanitru works well with so many products. The ability to connect to your mail accounts and quickbooks is unmatched. The stewardship automation is also really great and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

The customer support is very quick to reply but lacks quality in response. A huge problem we encounter is trying to learn the products at hand. The team at Humanitru knows their product very well and is very knowledgable but their ability to explain that product and relate to their customer's is constantly disappointing.

The quickbooks connection is huge for our account. We use this feature with every gift we enter and rely on it to balance our accounts.

We appreciate the ability to search our constituents as well as ability to create new campaigns. We do use the system frequently and have had no problem getting customer support when needed.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

I do wish that the integration was a bit more simplified. We had difficulty when we needed to change our membership system. And the flexibility of the payment set up system has not been ideal.

We are a non-profit with membership levels, renewals, and collect direct donations through Humanitru. The system allows us to quickly pull reports and make action plans to maintain and recruit members and donors.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

Humanitru helps to streamline many processes that come with managing several volunteers, and the events that they attend. Since the website sends information directly to me email, it helps me from misisng out on important updates. While navigating the site, if things are not entirely clear, there is lots of information in the existing help center.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

Some menu options within Humanitru are not entirely clear or intuitive upon first using the application. This includes things like the settings option being underneath a scroll bar on the left side, as opposed to the drop-down where your profile is located.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Humanitru is helping us solve the problem of organizing events and helping our volunteers find them, and sign up for them. It is benefting us by streamlining all sign-ups to a single location.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

Humanitru is development software for the development professional. The folks there are incredibly supportive and speak the donor-centric language that can make or break development software use. They understand what the objectives are for those using the software. Their customer service is superb; Megan, Jody, and Kyle are fantastic to work with and incredibly responsive. They are also open to discussing what our needs are anytime, and even making revisions or fixes where possible. We consider Humanitru a valued partner in our fundraising endeavors. I would absolutely recommend this platform and their company.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

I wouldn't say that I dislike this part about Humanitru, but there is a learning curve for entering and pulling information out of the system accurately and with ease. This would be the case with any software though.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are always willing to listen to our suggestions or spend time explaining the things we're experiencing/seeing while using the system. Being able to have the conversation with their team (developers, customer service reps, and leadership), is incredibly rare and truly beneficial for our agency/any customer. This helps us know we're speaking the same language and utilizing the product to it's fullest, and in the best ways for our constituents.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

when i have a question I am easily able to talk to my customer service rep and get problems resolved. The affordability espeically as a small nonprofit with a tight budget helps. I like that my number of constituants is based on donor giving and not number of entries. This allows me to track students and other participants not just donors.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

I wish the evergreen pages could look differently both from a volunteer standpoint and event. I know that our organization uses humanitru in probably not its intended purpose but being able to adjust a few features would be nice.

its allowing my organization to start to create tracking systems. i am really looking forward to finally be able to connect humanitru with quickbooks. i think that will help our organization a lot. prior to using humanitru our organization didnt have clear tracking capabilities

Humanitru allows for an in depth collection of data of the users of an organization. The features of seeing when users have been sent an email, opened an email and clicked an email has been extremely helpful in identifying engagement within our organization. Humanitru's customer support has been extremely helpful in answering questions, speedy responses and providing insight into how to best utilize available features.  In this organization, we frequently use Humanitru and have it connected to other platforms to best engage our audiences and collect data.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

At times, Humanitru can be difficult to navigate and use, due to limited access on account type and having to have an overhead Humanitru team member to grant access, approve or make a page public. Our organization as had difficult being able to implement and utilize all of the available features that Humanitru has to offer. Specifically within the volunteer portal and sign ups.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On the volunteer side of Humanitru, I believe this section is moving forward in a better direction, although it is difficult to navigate, allow individual users to sign up for volunteer shifts, as well as sharing access to sign up. Humanitru has been impactful in acknowledging volunteer and donor activity, specifically through engagement, past and current donations, last time volunteered and more. Humanitru has benefitted our organization through collecting very in depth, specific data around donations, volunteered time, engagement through emails and newsletters, specific tags that identify who and what role they hold within our organization.

**What do you like best about Humanitru?**

I am one of Humanitru's first customers.  The thing I liked the best about Humanitru is their accessibility and willingness to listen.  When there was somthing that did not work, they responded withing the business day.  If there was something that needed to be added to the site, they added it.  If there was a question about how to get a report, they sent me a video.  I have used other CRM with other nonprofits and it took weeks to get a response and sometimes and never heard back.  Bottom line, they are there when you need them.  That's what sets Humanitru apart from the others.  They know your name and you know who you can reach out to if you need them.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

To be honest, I cannot say I have a dislike.  I have worked with many other CRM's and this is by far the best experience I have had.

**What problems is Humanitru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are a one stop shop.  They even work closely with our processors to make sure that everything works great.  As a nonprofit, when money can't come in, it's a problem.  It's not a problem with Humanitru.

I love the ease of setting up events and the ability to integrate ticket sales, silent auctions, and attendance into the database.  Customer service is very reponsive and quick to add upgrades to make the user experience even better.  It is simple to add or delete users as the organization grows and changes and there is a lot of flexibility in the ways that the system can be utilized.

It does take some time to learn how to use all the features and to customize the system to capture all of the information important to your organization.  I wish I had carved out more time at the beginning to set it all up for my organization.

Allowing us to easily set up events, hold silent auctions, and keep records of donations.  This has helped us grow our donor base and increase the effectiveness of our fundraisers.

A very comprehensive database software at an affordable price (I like the constituents model instead of per record). We want to make everyone. Customer service is superb and staff is very helpful. We use this all the time to manage our data. Integration with QuickBooks and MailChimp is also great.

Nothing huge. there are a bunch of little things here and there but some of those features have been added. I also wish Evergreen was more customizable.

We never had a CRM to manage our data. We just used sheets of paper and spreadsheets. Humanitru allows us to put all of our data in one place and manage everything there. The integration with QuickBooks also speeds up accounting data entry.

As we are transitioning away from our previous CRM and are relatively new to Humanitru, the CRM has primarily been helpful as a simple, straight forward, easy-to-understand CRM that has allowed us the flexibility to transition virtually issue free.  However, as mentioned before, the overarching spectacular benefit of Humanitru is excellent service.  Jody problem-solves, responds quickly, is highly knowledgeable, and has made this process, which could otherwise be very painful, a joy.

All of our donor data is centralized and organized, there are many different filters to make advanced searches and find information quickly, and the customer service is great; Jody always gets back to us within a few hours and works closely with us to solve any problems. The Humanitru team has been helpful and efficient in helping us transition to the platform for our CRM needs. The Evergreen event & volunteer management system is great for tracking registrations and keeping us organized as we run many programs at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Humanitru?**

The terminology on the form that's used to create volunteer events on Evergreen can be confusing to start out. I recruit volunteers to work recurring weekly shifts at my program, and there isn't really a way for them to opt into that kind of scheduling. So at the moment, I either have to create a separate event in Evergreen for each volunteer shift (which is a lot), or ask people to sign up for a one-time shift and then communicate outside of the platform about their recurring availability. I'd appreciate any future updates on that front!
