What do you like best?

Roller is a ticketing software that makes purchasing tickets easy and is constantly reorganizing their workflow to improve the experience for your customers. We have been users for 2+ years and seen the improvements and been part of beta programs in order to shape the roadmap. It's amazing when a company that you pay to work for you, works with you to offer the best possible product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

With pushing the limits of continual updates, comes bugs and relearning the platform occasionally. Roller generally improves upon features and rolls out new features monthly which is far more often than other companies. Communication is good when updates are released but we have discovered bugs. There is also a learning curve and new training required each time there is a change made, even if the change is for the better. Doubled edged sword but I would rather have improvements than a stagnant platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our previous POS provider almost made it difficult to be a patron of our business. Roller makes the online checkout and in person point of sale purchase very simple and efficient. In the recreation and entertainment industry, the goal is to get customers in the doors as quickly and easily as possible in order to avoid bottlenecks and negative experiences from the beginning of their visit and that's what Roller offers. What do you like best?

The major improvement for us is the ease of use of the system as well as how much more user friendly it is to manage multiple sites using the management end of the system. We have Found it is very easy to train staff on the system and also like that we can make nearly all changes required without any third party assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes the system can be slower to use than our previous system at some sites (but I believe for the most part this is due to the internet speed we have available at some sites. The system also at present does not have some functions yet to allow us to update multiple sites at the same time of offer a tiered multi site membership system etc that we require for our business. However a Roller is constantly improving the system, and we believe all of these mentioned points are in the roadmap moving forward. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Makes it easier for us to manage multiple sites from any location. The key benefit for us has been how much easier it is to use and train people on, alongside being able to setup and manage our online checkouts without needing to contact the booking system provider like we have with previous systems we have used. What do you like best?

As a venue the best feature that we like is the ease of use and how quickly we are able to not only book in but also check in our customers. Everything is laid out in a clear, easy to read way. The support response time is also very impressive with the majority of issues resolved almost immediately. The system is also a lot more reliable than our previous one. What do you dislike?

The ability to have a simplified group party waiver would be a nice addition, as well as more customisable reporting features. We find that upcoming advertised features often take a lot longer to actually become available. Sometimes suffers a slight delay with reporting financial figures. On occasion proof or evidence of an error/ support ticket is required, i understand it is to help problem solve, but this isn't always practical and realistic to obtain. Our check in time is reduced due to the way ROLLER manages all bookings and waivers. It is also far easier to have total control over all products that we offer as well as providing individual images for each item. What do you like best?

The ease of the set up. It was quite overwhelming to think of building a new booking platform and uploading all of the sessions and products across the business. It was a big job for one person but Roller support and online guides make it as easy to follow as possible. The account manager Shamiso was very supportive and trained my team and I on everything we needed to know, constantly proofing all of the set up which provided me with the confidence everything had been done correctly. What do you dislike?

There's only a small number of mechanics I would improve if I could. Any software updates or amends can all be suggested to the development team via email and they will advise if its something that would prove useful to other clients too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Speed of setting up and loading our offers, discounts and sessions online for the customer to book. Our checkout page bounce rate has decreased. The reports are also easy to see and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

For us the best things about Roller is the speedy check in process and waiver system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are a lot of features the Roller has that we don't use as a small business. It would be really helpful for us if we could access Venue Manager on mobile devices. It also does not have a couple of simple functions that we have had with previous software that we now have to manually, for example a figure of how many people have checked in for an individual session. We moved away from EZ-Runner as a booking system for our trampoline park and ROLLER solved almost all of our problems. What do you like best?

Having never been involved in the building of a booking platform i was at first quite daunting at first but the simplistic that roller use makes it so user friendly from the development of the platform all the way to the staff point of sale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love using Roller as our Booking Management tool. The set up and processes are easy, even for a IT dummy like myself :) If I get stuck the team are always on hand to answer the most trivial of questions and can show you how they fix it remotely too so you can fix it yourself for next time. I converse with the team on the phone and through the support system too. Both are equally good ways of effective communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
