It's easy for everyone on our team to use, not just staff who are good at data. The reporting is robust enough to produce sliced and diced lists for mailing, thank you calls, and to help us learn more about our donors. We had a great training experience with Sean Potero and I've been happy with the chat support we've received since then. As with any CRM, navigating data imports from other platforms like Greater Giving is difficult. No two programs handle households or couples in the same way, and that makes importing event or auction data frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Donor Perfect provides a lot of good functionality and there are several areas where I can customize fields that help with filtering later. Also, when I started my new job in early December, I had never used Donor Perfect and unfortunately there was no real training or turnover from the previous person in my role. With time, I have been able to figure a lot of things out on my own and when I can't, I get GREAT service through the chat feature. The support staff is so easy to work with - they are prompt, thorough and make sure that they answer all of my questions. I always leave our chat sessions with all of the information I need to complete my tasks. I think DonorPerfect's interface is very user friendly. It is easy to identify and search out donors and gifts. But probably my favorite thing about DonorPerfect is their customer service. They are consistently helpful, friendly and often educate me on best practices.

Probably the "pledge" piece of DonorPerfect. I realize DonorPerfect is not an accounting software, but there are times I would like the pledges to be a little more flexible. For example, each month, I run my pledge 'reminders' manually because it's not feasible to just run all of the pledges due in a given period (even if a frequency is known). The absolute best thing about DonorPerfect is your customer service! It’s truly second to none—the staff are friendly, professional, and easy to work with and learn from. They clearly know what they’re doing, and they consistently have the answers I need. I don’t particularly dislike this feature, but I do wish there were a more expanded video tutorial section. The videos seem to cover the basics, yet after watching a few of them I’m still left with questions and would appreciate a bit more depth and guidance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Navigating the platform is straightforward, and it offers all the features you need at a much lower cost. The customer support team is excellent and consistently responsive. Beyond what is included with DonorPerfect, the integration of Constant Contact and Givecloud has been especially valuable, as we use these tools regularly. My colleague and I access the database daily. We have also recently started using SimpleTix, which has proven to be an effective solution for our ticketing requirements. I wish the online forms were a little less clunky. The new drag and drop forms are a step in the right direction, but I miss having the ability to see who has given to that form directly.

Coming from a background with Blackbaud and SalesForce, I found the reporting system to be a bit hard to wrap my mind around at first, but now we use it constantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't think that I ever close DonorPerfect on my laptop. It is a constant resource throughout the day. DonorPerfect is a very robust CRM, however it is an easy interface to learn how to use and generate valuable reports. DonorPerfect is also flexible and customizable to showcase the most important information for our organization. The lack of design flexibility in DonorPerfect's form builder often leaves a large amount of open space which makes the form longer to scroll on the page to see all the information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Online Forms feature has proven to be an invaluable asset. Information from DonorPerfect transfers smoothly into our communication and marketing platforms, which saves us time and helps minimize errors. There is some confusion regarding the 'Potential Matches' section in Online Forms, as the only available options are 'Insert New Record,' 'Hold Record,' 'Update Record & Add Gift,' or 'Add Gift Only.' I have found DonorPerfect to be very to use. It is loaded with features that I have not seen in any of its competitors in this market. I also find that each feature has a webinar on how to use these features. I also found that my Customer Representative to be very knowledgeable and easily explains these features to answer my questions. My team is trying to learn it while carrying on their regular work. Therefore, it takes them more time to learn the software. The forms are easily implemented. What I like best about DonorPerfect is how centralized and user-friendly it is for managing donor data. I typically dread calling a service department or help desk (doesn't everyone?) but NEVER when I need to call DonorPerfect for help, advice, or information. In fact, if I could choose 11 instead of 10 on the scale of how likely it is I would recommend DP to someone, I would! (Tip of the hat to Spinal Tap). DP responders are incredibly knowledgeable about the platform and about our needs and conundrums as fundraisers, so they know exactly how to guide us to solutions and problem-solve any challenge we might have. There is A LOT to learn and the learning curve can feel daunting (like, after a few weeks I forgot how to do that thing I mastered before unless I have to do it regularly.)
