We setup various campaigns such as peer to peer fundraising or recurring giving and attract, manage and cultivate donors with the help of Classy's tools. It is SO easy to create and report on donor activity! **What do you dislike about GoFundMe Pro?** The design-yourself options for pages are a bit limited. One hurdle is that when you want to design a custom page (with video, different styles of graphics. etc) you sometimes have to work with a classy designer to build that for you. That is very expensive for a small nonprofit. We had a custom page designed because we wanted to add a video banner and it cost over $1000 for classy to build. I wish they allowed you to customize the look in more ways! **What problems is GoFundMe Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Classy solves donor management and tracking for us. We can view all of our donor data and easily pull reports on who gave what amount. Our Classy also integrates with Saleforce through a plug-in so that really helps us reconcile the donor records and keep our database up to date! ### 5. Classy is straightforward and fun to use after you get acclimated to it. I'm a particular fan of using the event pages for fundraising events. You have a lot of control over the event and I've never had any issues with tracking ticket sales for events. **What do you dislike about GoFundMe Pro?** Occasionally the server will go down, but it's never taken longer than a few hours to come back up. This only happens maybe 1 or 2 times per year. As an organization, Classy transactions sync with Salesforce, enabling us to centralize donation activity. **What do you dislike about GoFundMe Pro?** Reporting capability is limited, but helpful at a high-level, including trending, specific campaign performance, and the like. While syncing with Salesforce is very important and works well for online donations, there is some inconsistency in syncing of offline transactions and the detail that is carried over. Transaction edit flexibility would also be helpful – e.g., when a donor registers for an event and is unable to attend, rather than being able to edit the mode of the transaction (e.g., from event ticket to donation), a new transaction must be created. I also love that they have new payment methods and custom recurring gift options for the donor to choose a unique giving schedule (monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.) Most of my interactions with Classy staff have been positive and helpful; I can not think of an instance where I wasn't able to get what I needed. The platform's donation pages blend seamlessly with our website and connect to our Salesforce CRM well. **What do you dislike about GoFundMe Pro?** Whenever I do get stuck, I am able to open a support chat with a staff member or find FAQ articles to guide me. Since it is so easy to set up, most of my questions are already addressed in help articles. The downside is that you have to be proactive to find it, ask in a chat, and set it up on the backend yourself. You don't have to be website designer but you do have to keep up on their new features and read their updates. For example, they now offer ACH transfers and PayPal as a payment mehod on donation pages. **Recommendations to others considering GoFundMe Pro:** Try a demo and see for yourself! Classy campaigns are easy to set up, and the platform is great for peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, especially now that it integrates with Facebook. Our account manager is extremely responsive, and the customer service representatives via the chat feature have all been very helpful. **What do you dislike about GoFundMe Pro?** I wish the campaign pages had more flexibility/customization - like being able to add "impact tiles" to a ticketed event, or having just one button on a ticketed event. Also, the reporting within a campaign for campaign level administrators has changed and it is not as user friendly. We wish there was a way to be able to click a button to copy registrant/participant info to billing info (to reduce friction for the donor). Mobile functionality is lacking - we wish there could be check scanning and credit card processing on-site. **What problems is GoFundMe Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Classy integration with Facebook integration has reduced friction and by helping our volunteers fundraise more easily. Instead of rebuilding the campaigns from scratch, the duplication process creates a base level from a prior campaign that you can then better based on what you learned from prior experiences. **What do you dislike about GoFundMe Pro?** Can be somewhat limiting. For bigger campaigns and events you cannot create tabs within the campaign. This means all the necessary information must be posted on the main page, which can make it cluttered and hard to search through. Additionally, the omatic plug in is necessary between Classy and RE. This conversion tool is needed to import all purchase/donation information and it isn't the easiest to set up. **What problems is GoFundMe Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are working with Classy to beta test different set amounts for one-time vs. recurring donations. It's hard to get all the details on one spreadsheet, and it seems like you may have to run a few reports. Some limitations of incorporating other apps/APIs as well.
