It doesn’t stop at collecting feedback - it actually helps teams turn it into real decisions and improvements. It feels practical, not just another survey tool.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

It can feel a bit complex at first. It takes some time to fully understand how to set things up in the most effective way.

**What problems is Alchemer Digital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue that feedback is usually scattered across tools, hard to analyze, and rarely turned into action. Many companies collect data but don’t actually use it effectively.

**What do you like best about Alchemer Digital?**

I like sending my users surveys to understand what they like and don't like about my app. I also can send notes to give users a special message and allow them to send feedback at their will using Message Center. Finally, their customer support team is awesome and very quick to respond if I have any questions or want to jump on a quick call with them.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

Apptentive is a great tool. The only thing I wish I could do is to understand how many users would receive my message before I send it out based on my specific targeting.

**What problems is Alchemer Digital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apptetnive allows me to understand if users are having issues with my app and what they like about it. It lets me interact with them at the correct times and helps increase our app ratings.

**What do you like best about Alchemer Digital?**

Event-based triggers are the best for targeting the correct population to reach out. Really works the best. And the love dialog. Works seamless.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

End-user survey experience is really bad. Survey UX feels like we're in the 2000s. No comprehensive way to distribute surveys through multiple channels. Little to no customization possible with this product.

**Recommendations to others considering Alchemer Digital:**

We couldn't achieve ROI with the implementation. Not a modern solution at all and not comprehensive enough. You can pay for other providers who provide experience management through SDK, Email, SMS, etc at the same or even lesser cost than what you pay for Apptentive. and there are hidden charges which we don't see in general with enterprise products like Zendesk or Salesforce. We have moved to Surveysparrow which is decent and fulfils our expectations.

**What problems is Alchemer Digital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to gauge our service experience and pitfalls through surveys. We haven't realized anything. Coverage was pretty low.

I'm not sure which version of our SDK you were implementing, but both our iOS and Android SDKs provide for Apptentive interactions to be customized to match your app's branding. I've provided a link below to our customization documentation for our Android SDK, for example. Our SDK 6.0 also features modern default UI styles for all customer-facing interactions.

**What do you like best about Alchemer Digital?**

We use the Love Dialog and Survey features, as well as the notes. Each feature is easy to set up and launch. I like having the ability to clone previous surveys.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

I would like to have the option to see the combined data for iOS and Android devices. Separate reports are very important, but it would be great to be able to get that data in one big report from the admin tools rather than having to combine them manually.

**Recommendations to others considering Alchemer Digital:**

Apptentive is a great way to measure your customers' satisfaction with their user experience on your app. Make sure you are mindful of the frequency of your communications, as users can get turned off if they are asked to respond to surveys or love dialogs too frequently.

**What problems is Alchemer Digital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apptentive has helped our credit union understand our member's needs and challenges. This feedback provides us with important data that can be used when prioritizing future enhancements on our product roadmap.

**What do you like best about Alchemer Digital?**

Apptentive is very useful for interacting with our app users. Strategically planning notes and surveys in conjunction with major app updates and program launches is one way to communicate with customers effectively. Recent updates make retargeting groups super simple- retarget based on survey responses or other custom groups.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

The introduction of list uploads for targeting is a game-changer! I only wish it wasn't limited to 1000 values (temporarily). With this limit, I had to duplicate my note ~60 times to target my entire list. This didn't take too long, but it made my landing page a bit crowded. Maybe an option to create folders for notes and surveys, for organization purposes?

**Recommendations to others considering Alchemer Digital:**

The Apptentive support team is a great resource. I'm always asking for advice and best practices!

**What problems is Alchemer Digital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In addition to the Love Dialogue, we're using Apptentive to remind users of specific product launches and pilot programs they're enrolled in. Personalizing the targeting criteria is one easy way to achieve this.

**What do you like best about Alchemer Digital?**

I have found Apptentive to be an easy-to-use platform that has allowed us to gather app reviews and feedback from real customers. We love how customers can contact us directly in-app and, on our end, we can see their device details so we can easily and quickly identify problems by device and operating system.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

We haven't found any downsides to the platform itself. It's not a "set it and forget it" platform, so it does take manpower to set up and maintain, but the system itself does what it intends to do.

**What problems is Alchemer Digital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use Apptentive to gather in-app feedback with device information so we can quickly diagnose app issues and provide customer service to our users. We also use the platform to encourage app ratings.

The UI is easy to navigate and learn. Once we rolled out our first survey, we saw an immediate and very positive impact on our app ratings.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

Nothing major to dislike. There are a few small limitations when it comes to building surveys as far as formatting and cloning.

We were hoping to increase engagement for user insights, increase review submissions and improve our app ratings. We have accomplished all of that in a very short time and look forwards to creating more surveys.

**What do you like best about Alchemer Digital?**

When I first started using Apptentive, I was shocked at how easy it was to program surveys and view data! It was so user friendly, and something my business partners immediately loved.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

Some of our business partners would like more detailed / customized reporting. The text analytics is not as advanced as their competitors. We also have to pull reporting for each brand and app type (iOs vs Android) but can't see them aggregated.

Ask your Customer Success team lots of questions! They are so friendly, responsive, and helpful!

Apptentive makes it easy for me to quickly program a survey and share insights - I am shocked how quickly we can collect a large number of responses from our customers.

Apptentive is so intuitive and easy to use. Having a little pop-up in our app makes it super easy for a member to give us feedback on the app. I've never seen anything else like this solution.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

I wish I had Apptentive running for our Digital Banking web version. I'd love to gather member feedback from this channel as well.

Dashboard is easy to navigate, especially the star rating progression over time and love dialog responses.

**What do you dislike about Alchemer Digital?**

User feedback is really hard to bucket, lack of sentiment analysis makes it tedious to find major themes users are complaining about.

**Recommendations to others considering Alchemer Digital:**

If analyzing themes in user feedback is an important aspect of using this tool, then something to consider is that Apptentive doesn't have sentiment analysis. You have to manually read through all the user feedback and drill down themes.

**What problems is Alchemer Digital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main source of capturing user feedback for both android and iOS app in one place. Sometimes we also reach out to users from Apptentive.
