I like everything about BrowserStack, especially its functionality for features like 2FA by providing a real mobile SIM. This is essential for testing apps that require SMS OTP on 4G and 5G networks. The TestManagement tool, which is now AI-driven, is another highlight for me. The generative AI capability significantly reduces our manual test case creation effort, saving us about 60%. BrowserStack's real mobile SIM allows us to register or log in to apps with two-factor or multi-factor authentication, which is extremely helpful for our offshore team that doesn't have physical SIM cards. I find BrowserStack very easy to set up and it's reliable too. There's a wide collection of devices available, including the latest iPhones, which is great. It updates very quickly, offering all the latest devices. Setup doesn't require any assistance, and their customer support team is very active in helping whenever there's a problem. I find some advanced features in BrowserStack, like Apple Pay testing, to be very costly. It's a pain point because there is a minimum requirement to purchase for a group or team, with no individual plan available. I like the simplicity of BrowserStack, especially how easy it is to set up Automate with basic configurations without having to configure a bunch of stuff. The test management feature has been developing well with the features we needed over a short time. I find the AI recommendation for generating test steps quite useful, as it reduces the time to manually compose test steps. I think the modularity and the ability to choose from a unique number of devices and operating systems is really helpful. BrowserStack allows me to change the IP and the region to see how the app performs from different locations. It's been great to work with from the beginning, performing really well for us. I think a lot of times, the platform gets blocked by WAF rules. Again, this is really subjective to the company that is using it, but a bunch of times the app is not able to run on the particular device on BrowserStack because of either geolocation configuration, which is outside the scope of using the app. Or it can be due to certain WAF rules. I use BrowserStack for manual and automation testing of mobile applications, particularly appreciating the easy access and good user interface. What I like best about BrowserStack is the Live testing experience, especially App Live and Web Live. What I dislike about BrowserStack is that some of the AI-driven features, especially test case generation, are still too immature for practical use. While the tool generates a large number of test cases quickly, many of them are duplicated, irrelevant, or lack proper alignment with the actual business rules, which creates significant rework. In practice, reviewing and fixing the generated scenarios often takes as much time as writing them manually. Additionally, several features overlap with tools we already use effectively, making it hard to justify the full platform cost when only a few modules clearly add value. I use BrowserStack for app testing across Android, iOS, and iPad. I like that it lets me test in almost all real device environments without needing physical devices. During peak hours, there is a lag and performance is not that great. Typing and scrolling is slow sometimes. Debugging of complex issues can get really slow. Real devices are slower and need longer startup times. Map-based pages are slow. Need control on session timeouts. The pricing should be reduced to make it more affordable.
