**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

BrowserStack is an essential tool for our SaaS company. Building software that works consistently across platforms—even in the age of AI—has become increasingly difficult. Android, iOS, Windows, Apple, and Linux, each with multiple versions, all require testing against every release of our software.

We’re a small company with an even smaller QA team, so BrowserStack makes a real difference. It lets us test across multiple platforms and browser versions at the same time, and it includes UI experience comparisons that help us spot issues quickly. Without BrowserStack, our QA department would probably still be beta testing our first version. Overall, it’s a great piece of software that helps us deploy with a high level of confidence in the user experience.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

If I had to choose a downside to BrowserStack, it would be the speed of the software tests. Occasionally it can run slowly which holds things up. It's not that often and, given the time save of using it, isn't that big of a deal.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UI inconsistencies across multiple browser versions and operating systems.

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

What I like best about BrowserStack is how easily I can test websites on different devices without actually having those devices. I mostly use the Live testing feature, and it really helps me quickly check how a site looks on different browsers and screen sizes in one go.

The UI is simple enough to get used to. Switching between devices is pretty quick, and once you start using it regularly, it becomes part of your normal testing flow without much effort.

In terms of integrations, it connects well with common testing tools, which is helpful if you’re working in a team or planning to move more into automation.

It has definitely made my workflow faster because I don’t have to depend on physical devices or set up different environments. I can just log in and start testing, which saves a lot of time during daily work.

That said, performance is something that could be better. I’ve faced delays while scrolling or interacting with the screen, and sometimes it doesn’t respond immediately, which can be a bit frustrating when you’re trying to test smoothly.

Pricing-wise, I think it makes sense if you’re regularly doing cross-browser testing, because the device access itself is a big advantage. But the slow performance at times does make you question it a little.

Onboarding is not complicated—you can pretty much start using it without much help, and the documentation is there if needed.

I haven’t really used any AI-related features, but for me the main value is still the access to multiple devices and how much time it saves overall.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

What I dislike about BrowserStack is mainly the performance issues. There are times when the response is quite slow, especially during simple actions like scrolling or interacting with elements. It breaks the flow of testing and makes even basic checks take longer than they should.

Another issue I’ve faced is with screen behavior—sometimes while scrolling with the mouse, the screen unexpectedly rotates to horizontal view, and due to the lag, it takes time to bring it back to normal. It becomes a bit frustrating when you’re trying to test quickly.

I’ve also noticed occasional UI inconsistencies, where the website doesn’t render exactly the way it would on a real device. At times, elements like the search bar or input fields don’t work properly, which makes it hard to fully trust the results.

From a UI/UX perspective, while it’s easy to use overall, these small glitches and delays affect the experience. Considering the pricing, I feel the performance should be more stable. When you’re paying for a tool like this, you expect smoother execution.

I haven’t had much interaction with support, but when these issues happen, it does make you feel the need for quicker resolution or better stability.

Overall, it’s a very useful tool, but these issues can slow down testing and impact reliability.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrowserStack solves the problem of not having access to multiple real devices and browsers for testing. Instead of maintaining physical devices or setting up different environments, I can test everything in one place.

For me, it mainly saves time. I can quickly check websites across different browsers and screen sizes without any setup, which makes daily testing much faster.

It also helps in catching UI issues early and is useful for quick validations when I need to see how a site behaves on different devices.

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

If it's necessary to do bug testing a phone then BrowserStack is a comfortable option that allows use of a keyboard and mouse, obviously easier than tapping on a phone for hours.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

It is wonky however, as there is frequently a bit of a lag and also much difficulty pasting from a clipboard. That can lead to frustration as it is often necessary to make multiple attempts to copy/paste into the app. Also, nothing can be saved for a new session, such as bookmarks. I honestly went back to using my real phone for testing because of these issues. The work I needed to do requires uploading photos and documents into our web-based platform, which can't really be done on the test phone (I had to use the half dozen or so "office" scene or Browserstack images in Photos on the test phone. I could not upload documents in the testing environment.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have moved into the mobile testing phase for our new platform and needed to test on a variety of phones, but the Browserstack tool didn't work great for us due to the need to upload photos and docs.

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

I like how simple it is to grab a device that was reported to have an issue and try and reproduce it. Lots of bugs happen on specific devices or specific OS versions, and because we remote work, we can't possibly own all those devices at every developer's house. BrowserStack allows us to fill that gap when reproducing and testing bugs.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

The biggest hurdle that I run into is the browser developer tools suck. They don't work half the time, or they freeze or exhibit all kinds of janky behavior. Because it's often critical to diagnosing the issue, when it doesn't work, your application goes from helpful to just a waste of time in a half second. The other is sometimes you don't have the combination device the customer has, and in those cases, you also aren't useful. Lastly, the speed of getting into your device is slow when doing work fast with AI. It's much slower than just opening my Dev Tools locally and going, but sometimes it's necessary. Then as I am generating code, my session gets logged out, and having to re-get a device and re-login to my stuff and get back to where I was is a pain. If it could remember logged-in sessions between sessions, that would be very helpful, and if it could be part of my Chrome as an extension or something so it's already one click in my workflow.

BrowserStack lets me recreate and solve bugs on devices I don't own, filling the gap in remote work testing.

Test flakiness and timeouts, especially in automate. A very visible pain point at Cbus is tests timing out or behaving inconsistently, particularly in automated runs.

I love that BrowserStack unites everything I need for my software testing. Cloud Testing is the most amazing feature, allowing me to conduct tests without needing local infrastructure or simulators. It's as simple as using it to run the software I want to test. Also, I found the initial setup really easy.

Loading of apps is not the most reliable. Sometimes it takes a long time for apps to load, especially on Android devices that aren't flagship-grade.

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

BrowserStack lets us test on real browsers and real devices without buying anything ourselves. The Automate platform works great with our Selenium and Playwright tests. Also running tests in parallel saves a lot of build time. Percy is also helpful for catching small visual issues. The integrations with GitHub and Jenkins fit right into our CI pipeline. We were able to debug live sessions with built-in tools.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

Sometimes the real devices take a few seconds to load, especially during heavy traffic hours. The pricing is a bit high when scaling large automation suites.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrowserStack gives us experience across browsers and devices, something we could never recreate with physical hardware. It helps us catch cross-browser issues early and speeds up code shipping. Our testing team is more consistent and less dependent on local setups. Overall we ship faster than before.

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

As an individual developer, BrowserStack Live allows me to perform real device debugging and style comparisons across multiple devices/browsers without the need for my own equipment. It's easy to use, has low implementation costs, and I use it before every regular regression test. The screenshot/recording evidence is also sufficient, and it really enhances my efficiency.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

The device loading and session switching are relatively slow during peak hours, with occasional lag, and some models (such as the SIM-equipped iPhone) have a long cold start waiting time, affecting the continuity of debugging experience. If the startup speed and stability can be further optimized, it would be more worthwhile for long-term use.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the difficulties I faced as an individual developer in multi-device compatibility and side-by-side comparison: it used to be very difficult to simultaneously check styles and interactions on the iPhone, Android, iPad, and desktop browsers, and it was also inconvenient to reproduce issues in an intranet environment.

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

I use BrowserStack to test IVP applications, and it reduces the testing time significantly. I like its user interface and test suite feature. The interface is simple, and the test suite feature allows me to run a test on cloud while recording another test on local. The initial setup was good.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

In BrowserStack, we are facing inconsistency issues. The same test runs smoothly locally but fails in the Suite. Also, the same test passes in one test suite and fails in another test suite.

Unable to export the entire test case base or selection of folders.
I'd like an option to order folders and test cases alphabetically

BrowserStack is helping me track my testing efforts, store and organize test cases, provide reports and visibility to stakeholders. We work in sprints, and I use Test Runs to display which test cases were used in the current sprint. Active test runs data provides high visibility and status update to the team. It is also helping me track automation test coverage.

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

I find the UI of BrowserStack very appealing and easy to navigate. The support team is active and energetic, providing quick responses and helpful demos for any issues or solutions I encounter. Additionally, the performance of BrowserStack is impressive, particularly in terms of processing time.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

I found the setup process for BrowserStack to be challenging. Uploading the mobile build and obtaining the app ID was particularly difficult. Additionally, I realized that to get the app ID necessary for mobile testing, I need to subscribe to the process tech automation, which isn't ideal. Furthermore, I believe that security testing is a crucial area where BrowserStack is lacking and should be incorporated into the platform.

I use BrowserStack for mobile testing, which helps identify elements on iOS and Android easily and execute scenarios on various devices efficiently.

Being able to launch automated tests on a device and have a detailed summary of the execution with the video.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

The names of the different sections are really not clear, I mistake them A LOT.
The UI is really not easy to understand as a newcomer or infrequent user.
The navigation  on the phone when using it "manually" is kina slow and laggy

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

BrowserStack has been helpful for cross-browser testing. It allows us to test our app on different browsers and mobile devices, which is crucial for ensuring compatibility. The interface is simple to use, and setting up tests is quick. It integrates well with our existing CI/CD setup.

One feature I really appreciate is the ability to test on real devices, which helps catch issues that might not appear in a simulated environment.

One thing I would like to see improved is the performance when testing via VPN. It tends to slow down the device, which can affect the overall test cycle time. Other than that, it’s been a reliable tool

The network speed for every device is good.Able to implement easily.
App live, web live, and work smoothly. Apple products are good in response.
Good response at a time when the device works smoothly.
Easy to integration with local machin.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

After the IPA file upload user is not able to use settings in the app side.
Some apps required to change app settings from phone settings.
Setting option not able to be used.
In automation every time required to upload a new file so there is no way to find out one file or link from the code They download the file and install it in the app the app code is not required to change the BS file.
Also, some apps are more than 100MB, so the Browser stack hangs for some time and responds. They are required to reload the webpage or change the device.
Most importantly every time iPad was not able to access due to unavailability.
Screen rotation does not work very time correctly, they some time different work e.g. landscape mode all app shows vertically.Customer support not good.
Every time need to select a new device , as per user point if I use previous one device so please shows first used device and shows all device e.g. used device list and all device list.
And user was working on previous device so they start from there not from new user device .

if any device unable they prior send a email to user this this device not working from start time to end time or device will available after some time so user will return after that time.
Need a used device or previu=ious device list and whatever user log in a that device they continue from there so need a work on that functionality. BCZ of each and every time App or play store required to login and then install app and then test this is not a good practice it's wast of more time.Ipad need to available for all day.
If one of device unavailble then please share a error message to customer like not avaible please try again in some time or give a time to customer so customer will back after that time but you not send that error.

This has been the most useful IE simulator I've ever used. The ability to instantly test and interact with your website across a wide range of browsers, as well as to adjust the display size and operating system, is incredible. I frequently use BrowserStack at work. The screenshot tool, in my opinion, is a good way to find interface flaws fast.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

I find BrowserStack to be cumbersome and slow. Furthermore, it does not work with a VPN. The refresh rate is too low for me to test animation effects.
Although the colours are too dim to capture good-looking images during "live" testing, a screenshot service was recently created that allows us to capture screenshots of a URL on nearly any device.

Useful in identifying, analysing, and resolving software quality issues, debugging tools offered such as network logs, video capture, and screenshots.
Helped to run automated tests using frameworks like Selenium.

I like how I can test locally web applications, and do accessibility testing on android, and also use developer tools to debug and develop.

It is a pain sometimes to use the product because of how laggy it is and clunky it is. It is quite slow and takes a lot of loading time. Also, accessibility is not available in iPhone and is only available in andorid or desktop. The local testing is good when it is set right, but once it becomes undone somehow, it is difficult to run it again..

Everything that needs in testing any product got one stop solution on thia platform. The dashboard and logs are very easy to view and wide range of devices and browsers to test upon with nearly 100 % accuracy. 
Every Os version is available for test on, and debugging and documents are easy for watching the issues.

Felt Some network issue and screen got stuck for few seconds in between the test few weeks back. It is the only thing I found to highlight here

Post Sales customer support and product support no where near the pre-sales engagement whic was very disappointing
Not enough documentation around their SDKs and how to use them
No idea when newer versions of Playwright are available to use and they lag a few weeks behind which is frustrating

Huge range of devices to use for Live testing and extremely easy to use. The functionality and features they offer well exceed what we bother to leverage, but nice to know it's available as needs expand over time. Seemingly trivial features like remembering the browser URL can save a lot of time and make it easy to run multiple tests across a wide range of devices.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

Their pricing model is pretty aggressive.  If you're taking full advantage of all of the functionality or have a dedicated QA team, it's absolutely 100% worth the price and exceptional quality of the product, but if you only want access for a handful of developers to do basic cross-device testing, their pricing model is far too expensive in my view. You're forced to buy batches of seats in groups of 5  (e.g. a team of 6 requires 10 license), and even if you're only using a small portion of the functionality for just a few hours a month across the team - they require you to buy a seat per person, not priced accordingly for the tiny subset of functionality you'll use, nor relative to the usage you intend to use. I'd highly recommend they offer a pricing tier for only the Live Testing product at a fraction of the price of the full suite, as well as pricing based on individual seats (not batches), and based on # of concurrent users or perhaps hours of usage instead of just "how many people" _might_ do some testing once in a while.

Im located in Brazil. Sometimes I encounter problems, like browsers and device disconnections, which I believe are due to connection issues. I find BrowserStack to be reliable. There are a limitations, such as browser versions on certain devices but you can overcome them by choosing different device generations.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

Testing on iOS devices requires a Mac, which is inconvenient for users who dont have one. The lack of access to browser dev tools for making real time adjustments on devices.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrowserStack is good for web developers. It allow us to test our websites across a variety of browsers and devices ensuring an experience, for all users. This saves us hours of testing and debugging work while increasing the quality and performance of our websites.
