"Effortless Mobile Testing with Powerful Automation and Seamless Evidence Capture"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

App Live makes repros trivial. Upload APK/IPA, pick the exact device/OS, and capture video + screenshots + logcat/syslog in one link, perfect for crisp Jira tickets.

Evidence in one place. Session URLs bundle video, network/HAR, device metadata, and WebView console logs, no tool-hopping. The tunnel hits feature-branch APIs behind VPN, we toggle locale/RTL, timezone, geolocation, and 3G/4G/offline profiles to mimic real users.

App Automate scales fast. We shard Appium suites across ~30 real devices (e.g., Pixel 8, iPhone 13), tag by branch/commit, and finish PR gates in ~15 minutes instead of ~60. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Peak-time queues on popular iPhones, making cold starts slower than simulators. iOS signing quirks (entitlements/universal links) can stall first-time setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Trusted platform for cross-browser testing across a wide range of devices"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack simplifies testing by providing instant access to a wide range of browsers, operating systems, and real devices—without the hassle of managing in-house infrastructure. Its intuitive interface and seamless CI/CD integrations make it easy to incorporate into existing workflows. Supporting both automated and manual testing, the platform empowers QA teams with real device availability and fast environment setup, significantly reducing testing time and accelerating release cycles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

The pricing can be a bit high for smaller teams or startups. Occasionally, there can be slight lags when testing on real devices, especially during peak hours. Some advanced debugging features could also be improved to make troubleshooting even faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Browser stack can improve in performance"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

As a tester, I can run simultaneous tests on multiple devices and browsers, reducing manual effort and speeding up releases. Testing is done on real devices and browsers, not just emulators, so results are highly reliable and any device-specific issues can be caught before release. BrowserStack provides access to 20,000+ device-browser combinations, including the newest versions, ensuring wide coverage for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Pricing is often considered expensive for individuals, small teams, or startups—especially as more parallel sessions or users are added. Test environments are mostly pre-configured, restricting deeper customization of device settings, OS configurations, hardware setups, or advanced network parameters. "Browser Stack Review"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

Browser Stack offers a robust Testing Infrastructure, Very handy, and supports multiple devices, which made my cross-browser tests way easier and significantly made my work easier and faster. Switching to multiple devices is easier and develops nearly the same results as a real device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I found the local testing feature a bit Unreliable for me as connectivity has been troublesome, which could be a case with my organisation's infrastructure too.

Furthermore, A Slight impact on the interface responsiveness can also be observed, but to me, that is not critical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Platform with Great Dashboards, but Regional Device Selection Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

The platform offers reliable device availability and stable service, along with a comprehensive selection of dashboards to track the progress of automation testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

There are a few challenges, such as selecting devices from a specific region. Sometimes, we need to use test devices that are strictly from one region in order to run tests that require a particular keyboard format on the mobile device. For instance, when a test inputs a decimal point, it may be converted to a comma because the device's keyboard is set to a region like Europe, which uses different formatting. I have been told that, due to load balancing, it is not possible to allocate devices from a specific regional pool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Pre-Launch Testing and Bug Prevention"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

Chrome 3PC/ITP readiness sweeps. We run a cookie matrix (first-party only, partitioned, SameSite=Lax) across Chrome/Safari in Live/Automate to catch auth and cross-subdomain bugs before launch, no local hacks. DST/locale “calendar chaos” runs. One pass sets devices to DST-switch dates and non-Gregorian locales to flush out date math, invoice due-date, and countdown bugs that unit tests miss. Install/uninstall sanity for mobile. App Live lets us validate clean-install vs upgrade paths (cold cache, SW/asset refresh), uncovering stale WebView assets and versioned deep-links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

No first-class device reservations for release hour; popular Safari/macOS queues still bite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Real-Device Testing with Powerful Debugging Tools"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I drag an APK/IPA, jump into a real Pixel/iPhone in ~60 seconds, and capture video + screenshots + logcat/syslog from one session URL, perfect for Jira. True “real-world” toggles. I can flip device language (including RTL), time zone, geolocation, and 3G/4G/offline profiles to surface auth, deep-link, and caching bugs that emulators miss. WebView + native in one view. Seeing JS console next to native logs pinpoints whether a failure is app code or web content, cutting triage time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Entitlement hiccups on some IPAs (universal links, push) make first-time setup fiddly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifying Multi-Device Testing for Teams"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack offers a very convenient way to test on real devices without the need for any setup. I appreciate the smoothness of the interface and the speed with which I can switch between various browsers and operating system versions. It saves me a great deal of effort and helps keep my testing workflow straightforward and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes, the loading time is a little longer than I would expect, but this doesn’t take away from the overall excellent experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Testing Tools and Integrations, but Device Load Times and Pricing Need Work"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack lets us test on real browsers and real devices without buying anything ourselves. The Automate platform works great with our Selenium and Playwright tests. Also running tests in parallel saves a lot of build time. Percy is also helpful for catching small visual issues. The integrations with GitHub and Jenkins fit right into our CI pipeline. We were able to debug live sessions with built-in tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes the real devices take a few seconds to load, especially during heavy traffic hours. The pricing is a bit high when scaling large automation suites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple to use and great for testing UI across multiple devices."
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I introduced BrowserStack to my second company, and it quickly became a favorite. Previously, we relied on a phone, an iPad, and a large-screen device to test our web UI — a costly and impractical setup. As a part-time freelancer, purchasing all those devices was beyond my budget, and I often had to borrow them from friends and family just to ensure proper testing. BrowserStack solved this challenge seamlessly. I started with the free version, and after experiencing its value, I upgraded to the paid plan. It has been a game-changer for our testing process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Limited free version, most useful features require a paid plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
