"Good Support, but Complex Setup and Lacks Security Testing"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I find the UI of BrowserStack very appealing and easy to navigate. The support team is active and energetic, providing quick responses and helpful demos for any issues or solutions I encounter. Additionally, the performance of BrowserStack is impressive, particularly in terms of processing time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I found the setup process for BrowserStack to be challenging. Uploading the mobile build and obtaining the app ID was particularly difficult. Additionally, I realized that to get the app ID necessary for mobile testing, I need to subscribe to the process tech automation, which isn't ideal. Furthermore, I believe that security testing is a crucial area where BrowserStack is lacking and should be incorporated into the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cross-Browser Testing Platform"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

✅ Real Device Cloud Infrastructure

BrowserStack operates with 3,500+ real desktop and mobile browser combinations across 30,000+ physical devices. The platform maintains real Android and iOS devices including iPhone, iPad, Samsung, Google Pixel, OnePlus, Motorola, Xiaomi, Huawei, and Vivo models. The real device testing capability delivers more accurate results compared to emulator-based solutions.

✅ Browser Coverage and Version Management

The platform supports comprehensive browser testing across Edge, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Internet Explorer, and Yandex browsers. Version coverage spans from legacy systems like Windows XP to current Windows 11, and from macOS Snow Leopard to Sonoma. Day-0 device availability ensures access to newly launched devices immediately upon market release.

✅ Development Environment Integration

Local and staging environment testing capabilities function seamlessly behind firewalls, proxies, and internal networks without configuration requirements. The platform integrates with CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, Travis CI, and CircleCI for automated testing workflows. DevTools integration provides real-time debugging capabilities with element inspection and network request monitoring.

✅ Advanced Testing Features

Multi-device testing supports simultaneous execution across four real devices for accelerated cross-browser validation. Network profile simulation includes Edge, 2G, 3G, 4G, and custom bandwidth configurations for performance testing under various connectivity conditions. Payment workflow testing incorporates Google Pay and Apple Pay functionality for secure transaction validation.

✅ Security and Compliance Infrastructure

Factory reset protocols ensure pristine device states after each testing session. Physical SIM integration enables OTP-based authentication and password reset workflow testing. WCAG compliance testing includes screen reader compatibility, dark mode validation, and accessibility feature verification.

✅ Analytics and Reporting Capabilities

Test session analytics provide actionable insights into testing coverage, frequency metrics, and historical performance data. Integration capabilities with Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Slack, and GitHub streamline bug reporting workflows. Screenshot annotation tools and detailed session recordings facilitate comprehensive issue documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

The platform stability has been remarkably solid, with minimal service interruptions affecting our testing workflows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Cross-Browser Testing Tool for Every Development Team"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

As a software engineer focused on delivering responsive, high-quality web applications, BrowserStack has become an indispensable part of my development and QA workflow. The platform provides a seamless experience for testing across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems. All of this is done without the need to maintain an in-house device lab.

What I Like:

Vast Device and Browser Coverage: BrowserStack supports a wide range of real devices and browsers, which makes it easy to test for compatibility across environments that users actually use.

Live & Automated Testing: Whether I need to manually verify a UI bug or run a full Selenium test suite, BrowserStack handles both with excellent performance and minimal setup.

Ease of Integration: Integration with CI/CD pipelines is simple and helps catch regressions early in the deployment process.

Real Device Testing: The fact that tests are run on real devices (not emulators) ensures accuracy and builds trust in the results.

User-Friendly Interface: The UI is clean, responsive, and intuitive, making it easy to jump into testing with minimal training or documentation lookup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

What I Dislike:

Occasional Latency on Live Tests: Very rarely, live testing sessions may lag, especially on older devices or during peak usage times.

Final Thoughts:

BrowserStack has dramatically improved our ability to test efficiently and deliver high-quality web applications with confidence. It's reliable, scalable, and constantly improving. I highly recommend it for any software development team that takes cross-browser compatibility seriously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Testing with browserstack provide better accuracy than emulators

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

In terms of what we do fo rmanual testing, browser stack works great.

Their automated visual testing isn't great yet.

Percy is the tool that they have for automated visual testing. It is good for testing a few sets of pages, but not quite there yet in terms of easiness to integrate to our automated test jobs via jenkins/github actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I am blown away!"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack is like no other tool I have used. For years, I have kept many, many phones, tablets, and laptops of varying shapes, platforms, and configuations to ensure my apps and website work for my users. With BrowserStack, they now just gather dust in a cupboard.

The range of devices and configurations offered by BrowserStack is truely impressive, and I still don't quite know how they have it running so well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

The only downside of BrowserStack is that you don't get to touch the device in person. Maybe if they had an interactive device museum somewhere... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Incredibly functional and easy to use"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

The wide variety of actual physical devices running the range of operating systems that I use for testing. They're fast and responsive, and you'd forget that it's an actual phone living in a warehouse somewhere distant.

The browser extension is incredibly useful as well to immediately pull up a site on one of your favorite devices to test as well.

We use it as part of our core workflow for A/B testing on sites so I'm in it nearly every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I'm not entirely sure there's anything to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best app and web automate solution I have used- browserstack"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack is a very useful tool with a simple interface. The user-friendliness of this system makes it easier for anyone to adapt to this application. The number of features offered by BrowserStack is unequal to any other application available. One of the most incredible features is the ability to test in different geo locations in Weblive. Applive enables users to test any version on different platforms. BrowserStack is very easy to integrate with other apps, and the ease of use is incompatible by any other tool.

The customer support received is very professional and supportive. This is totally worth the money as it allows unlimited minutes after purchase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Parallel testing is limited to one when purchased Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Testing improvements"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

Browser Stack Percy tool helped me to improve visual testing automation efficiency in my team. The results of the tests always help to find regressions for UI that I would not be able to notice myself.

The demo to other teams in a company pushed other teams also to start using the tool, making our UX team happy as well.

Very easy to integrate and implement with existing Playwright tests in any languages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Some flakiness of the Percy tool sometimes, very minor, not blocking the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
