This platform is great for assigning a new user story to make a task and assigning bugs. The process is complete and easy to integrate with GitHub. **What do you dislike about Azure DevTest Labs?** Not much i could say however the azure dashboard takes too long to load/ refresh . Although Azure has a complete package of multiple functionality , the smooth user interface / experience is missing. the user story is not very clear. **What problems is Azure DevTest Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?** Azure DevOps services help individuals such as developers, QA, and Product owners to track the product's progress on a single page. One does not have to hop on to multiple tools/software to follow the product progress. In the past with on-premise infrastructure, provisioning VMs needed much lead time and costly and man hours to prepare machines, however, with Azure DevTest Labs, it is a matter of template selections, configuration and automation, which reduces both lead time as well as cost. ### 8. Once our build process was able to create VM templates in DevTest Labs, QA could begin work much more quickly. ### 10. The ability to build a small infrastructure on the fly, was quite amazing. Adding in all the components rapidly made it a great experience. **What do you dislike about Azure DevTest Labs?** At times the response was not as fast as one would have liked, but it may have been our own environment and not the TestLab itself. Some components were still being added (MP's) and will be available as the product grows. **Recommendations to others considering Azure DevTest Labs:** Review other SaaS offerings and make you own comparisons. **What problems is Azure DevTest Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are learning to stand up a Public Cloud offering, different from the private cloud offering we currently use. Obvious benefits are OS and Application software versions being up to date and not having to patch any of these prior to 'go live'. ### 11. We had a lot of support from Microsoft, however this would be very difficult to build up and navigate alone. The resulting product/outcome could end up costing more than necessary if not configured correctly. **What problems is Azure DevTest Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spinning up developer environments in VMs for use in the office as well as when working remotely, at home or on the go. Also, transitioning build/test pipelines into VMs that spin up on the fly and scale based on need. ### 17. You can control quotas for your engineers to manage the costs of your labs, also you can configure autostart and shutdown to avoid VMs running when these are not used. You can save secrets in a KeyVault, like common administrator credentials to save your time when creating virtual machines **What do you dislike about Azure DevTest Labs?** Works only with IaaS resources like VMs and data disks.
