"It is good, but still there is place to get better"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

It is very easy to use. As we can get all the all the browsers and most of the devices to test. As I use browserstack daily for my analysis purpose. I am using browser stack local also to work on my local device code so the implementation and intergration is beging easy. And when i get confuse i also get help from the Browserstack support team on how to use things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

In android other than google devices are not getting updated, there should be new devices should get added. Most of the times while doing analysis I face a lag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stopped guessing how my layouts look on other devices - BrowserStack showed me the truth"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

Before using BrowserStack, I was basically crossing my fingers after every deployment. I would build something, it would look perfect on my screen, and then a client would send a screenshot of it completely broken on Safari or some Android device I didn't own.

BrowserStack fixed that problem for me. I can check my HTML, CSS and responsive layouts on real browsers and real devices without buying a single extra phone or laptop. Safari on iPhone is the one that used to catch me off guard the most - flexbox behaving differently, fonts rendering slightly off. Now I catch those things before the client ever sees them.

The Live testing feature is what I use most. Open a browser, pick a device, start testing. No complicated setup, no configuration - it just works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes the session loads a bit slow, especially during busy hours. For individual developers the pricing feels a little steep but honestly the time it saves makes up for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Testing but High Cost and Connectivity Challenges"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I majorly use BrowserStack to test my web and mobile applications across various browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge to ensure everything runs smoothly for every user. It helps me catch cross-browser tests and device compatibility issues in early stages, which helps us to focus better on customer best experience. What I like most is its wide range of browsers and real devices along with quick and reliable testing, making it easy for me to validate without maintaining my own devices. Having instant access to real devices and multiple browser versions helps us to quickly replicate our environment and debug issues in real-time, saving a lot of manual loads. The onboarding was pretty smooth, and we were able to run tests quickly with minimal setup and easy documentation. Additionally, BrowserStack's scalable testing is really helpful for our mid-sized organization with a good team of 185 people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes it works on slow speed and frequently disconnects sessions. The pricing for small teams is seemingly on the higher side. Slow sessions and random disconnects interrupt test runs and debugging, forcing us to restart sessions and delaying releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Parallel Device Testing Across Screen Sizes and OS Versions"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I am able to test multiple devices in parallel to test for e.g. screen size or OS version at the same time in a very user friendly manner.

The ability to change the network connection stability is also very cool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I am not always able to access the devices I had planned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Reliable Cross-Browser Testing with Minimal Setup"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

What I like most about BrowserStack is how easy it makes cross-browser and cross-device testing without maintaining any physical device lab. The real device coverage is reliable, the interface is straightforward, and the setup time is minimal. It helps us quickly validate builds across different environments, which is especially useful during regression cycles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

At times, session start time can be slightly slow, especially during peak hours. Occasionally, device availability is limited for certain OS and browser combinations, which can delay testing. Debugging through recorded sessions is helpful, but deeper performance diagnostics could be more detailed. Pricing can also feel on the higher side as the team scales and parallel testing needs increase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"As a fronted dev, BrowserStack is the one tool I actually enjoy using"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

Cross-browser testing used to be the part of my day I dreaded most. Spinning up different environment, checking layouts on Safari vs Chrome vs Edge - it was slow and honestly frustrating. BrowserStack made that whole process feel normal again. I can jump into a real device session in second, catch a CSS bug on iOS Safari that I had never have spotted otherwise, and fix it before it ever hits production. The Live testing feature is what I use most - instant, no setup, just pick a browser and go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes the session feels a little slow to load especially when I am in a hurry before a deadline. Pricing is on the higher side for individual developer - wish there was a more affordable solo plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Testing with Minor Speed Hiccups"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I use BrowserStack to test websites and web apps across different browsers, devices, and operating systems, ensuring they work correctly for all users. It helps me quickly identify and fix cross-browser compatibility issues without needing to maintain multiple physical devices or setups. I like its wide range of real devices and browsers, the ease of switching between environments, and how quickly I can run tests without any complex setups. Access to real devices helps me catch real-world issues, switching environments is fast and seamless, and quick test execution saves time and speeds up delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes tests can be a bit slow to start, and sessions may lag on certain devices. The initial setup was a little bit complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Must-Have Tool for QA Teams"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

What I like most about BrowserStack is how effortlessly it enables cross-browser and cross-device testing, without having to maintain a physical device lab. At SmiONE, we rely on it every day for both manual and automated testing. It’s very easy to use, with a clean, intuitive interface that makes it simple to get started and stay productive. The integrations with automation tools like Selenium and CI/CD pipelines (such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions) have been smooth and dependable for us. I also value the broad selection of real devices and browser combinations, which helps us validate our work thoroughly and deliver high-quality releases across different platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

While BrowserStack is a strong tool overall, there are still a few areas where it could improve. From time to time, real device sessions take a little longer than expected to connect, and this seems to happen more often during peak hours. Also, some features—such as advanced debugging tools or logs—could be more detailed and informative, especially when I’m running automation tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate Cross-Device Testing with BrowserStack’s Real Device Cloud"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

What I like best about BrowserStack is its real device cloud, which allows testing on actual devices instead of emulators, giving more reliable and accurate results. It’s especially helpful for ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility without the hassle of maintaining physical infrastructure. The platform also speeds up development cycles with features like parallel testing, easy CI/CD integration, and built-in debugging tools such as logs, screenshots, and video recordings, making the overall testing process more efficient and scalable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

One downside of BrowserStack is that it can be relatively expensive compared to other testing solutions, especially for smaller teams or startups. At times, performance may feel slightly laggy due to network dependency when accessing real devices remotely, which can affect testing speed. Additionally, debugging complex issues can sometimes be limited compared to local environments, and session time limits or queue times during peak usage can slow down workflows. "BrowserStack Makes Cross-Platform Testing Possible and More Efficient - For Most Cases"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack is a really good shortcut to test webapps or mobile apps on different tech-stacks and platforms. It's certainly efficient to run scans on a simulated environment with various platforms than having to set up indivdual test-setups with physical hardware or even virtual machines too replicated the various OS and frameworks. Especially when the the team works everywhere and not in one office, you can't just have different devices and share them with people who work at home. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Since it is simulated, I sometimes would love to have deeper access to debug a problem. BrowserStack does help you find problems, but you can't get to the root of it. Since this IS your environment to test, the consequence is often that you either have to "guess" (via research) what the problem was and trial-and-error a solution or you do have to set up a "real" environment to replicate the issue and get closer to it. So, it's good to identify that there is a problem, but it's not necessarily easy to also fix it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
