What do you like best about Meltwater?

There's so much about the platform that we love at our agency. From the influencer research (that we were doing manually), to creating and building massively successful campaigns with the right influencers from our initial research to the metrics reports and outputs, there's so much to love about Klear.

Our rep is immensely helpful and always answers our emails quickly. If there's a feature that hasn't been developed, he takes it to the product team to help implement. What do you dislike about Meltwater?

This is a tricky question for me to answer because I have enjoyed so much about Klear. I guess the only downside is not being able to add in creators who aren't 'creator or business' profiles. What do you like best about Meltwater?

The whole operation, since I logg in evertything is so intuituve. I can easily manage my searches and specify each keyword by simply adding or removing words in the explore section. I use it everyday of the week.

These new tool for AI notes and results, gets better everytime. Managing a better work deliverable to my clients.

Its very easy to connect my social media environment and analyze the whole conversation.

And what I think gets a plus, its the Meltwater Academy wich can be accesed very easy and obtain knowledge that can bring better results.

This tool greatly facilitates the tasks that need to be carried out in the area of influencer marketing and marketing in general. The ability to search for profiles easily and quickly, as well as organize them into campaigns and other categories, contributes to making the work much more efficient. What do you dislike about Meltwater?

Sometimes it is a bit complicated to generate reports, as I have had several issues. The idea of using this tool is for the processes to be more automatic and less manual, but sometimes the platform does not gather all the contents of a campaign and it is necessary to add them manually, which makes the process tedious. Also, sometimes it does not update the influencers' profiles regarding their content. Another aspect is that, when generating a report for an influencer, the tool shows 'global' metrics based on all the influencer's content, but does not offer more specific data. For example, on Instagram and TikTok, the main audience is usually from Costa Rica, but in the report, it appears as if it were from the United States. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Meltwater?

There are a lot of monitoring services now offered, and as an agency with many clients to monitor for, Meltwater offers the best balance of services and price. Their monitoring is great and media database is also very good. Sure, there are gaps, but keeping up with the quick pace of media turnover can be a challenge. In addition, their use of AI integration seems to be quick for the industry, and I appreciate that they're leaning into that section and look forward to further improvements and integrations as AI continues to progress. What do you dislike about Meltwater?

Beyond a bit of difficulty monitoring for TV and radio (trouble finding specific clips for TV and just overall difficulty of finding any radio), the service is great. The main thing that I would like to do with Meltwater that I can't seem to find a great solution for, at the moment, is a dashboard for clients/searches that I can share with my team. Yes, there's the analysis section, but that only serves me after a campaign has ended or is a snapshot (which I would have to pull every so often). There's so much data that comes from Meltwater but the hard part is analyzing that data into trends that really make an impact from a client perspective. What do you dislike about Meltwater?

I’ve been using Meltwater extensively, and there’s a lot to love about the platform. The monitoring features are excellent, data is displayed clearly, making it easy to analyze trends and uncover actionable insights. Their reporting and insight tools are invaluable for strategy development, helping me make informed decisions quickly. I also really appreciate the publishing platform for community management: my clients can review and approve content easily, and the performance data for each post is detailed and helpful. The digest reports are another standout feature, giving me concise summaries that save time while keeping me informed.

That said, there are a few limitations. To get a full 360° view, you often have to navigate multiple sections of the platform, which can be a bit cumbersome. The publishing platform sometimes rejects content due to sizing issues even when the files are correct. Additionally, not all social media platforms are fully tracked, meaning some data must be gathered natively. Alerts can also be inconsistent; for example, I set up one to monitor a crisis, but it ended up sending information about everything except my specific query, which required me to handle it manually.

Overall, Meltwater is a powerful tool that streamlines monitoring, reporting, and content management, but it has some quirks that users should be aware of.
