**What do you like best about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

Everbridge's user interface is intuitive and learner-friendly. We have a small team of users that I was able to easily train on how to perform their duties. 
We recently completed an integration with our new human resources platform - our Everbridge account manager was able to provide simple instructions that allowed us to perform the integration in under an hour. 
From a performance perspective, the platform has exceeded expectations and allowed us to rapidly send targeted notifications to frontline employees regarding physical security alerts that include images and guidelines. 
Continuing to partner and renew our contract with Everbridge was an easy decision this budget season as the price for the capability is an excellent return on investment. Plus, Everbridge's continued growth and development promise increasing opportunities to integrate new and improved products to support our own growing organization. The support team has also been exceptional at walking us through the different capabilities and scaling packages to the capability and price best-suited for us.

**What do you dislike about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

In complete honesty, we haven't noticed anything that we dislike at this time. Usually, user interface and learning how to use a system would be the biggest challenge, but Everbridge has proven incredibly intuitive and easy to learn.

**What problems is Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everbridge is helping us by allowing our small business resiliency and physical security team (2 employees) to perform the duties of a much larger team. We are now able to maintain situational awareness of employee locations across 34 locations and rapidly communicate with select employee groups during time-sensitive events. These actions would take five or ten times as long using manual processes. This guaranteed and automated communication assures us continuity and safety and allows us to focus on other impacts from disruptions.

I appreciate how Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management) resolves the fragmented communication that used to happen during disruptions. It allows me to establish which of our traveling parties are exposed and communicate with them and the partners handling arrangements simultaneously, rather than relying on a chain of individual calls. I love the clarity it brings when something urgent needs to be communicated, as I can issue an update confidently and ensure it reaches the intended group. The ability to choose the channel based on urgency is also incredibly valuable, helping me treat minor itinerary adjustments differently from genuine disruptions. Additionally, the integration with Airtable and HubSpot simplifies the contact process, since our groups are already segmented and client details are easily accessible. The initial setup was actually pretty simple, which was a relief.

Tailoring the communication rules to a particular scenario is more laborious than it ought to be. When circumstances shift, adjusting the message paths mid-flight is not as straightforward as I would like. The formatting options are also somewhat spare, which works against me when a message carries detail that needs to be read precisely rather than skimmed.

Everbridge 360 resolves fragmented communication during disruptions, allowing me to identify affected travelers and coordinate with them and partners in one streamlined push, replacing individual calls.

From a GSOC standpoint, the mapping capabilities and real-time alerts offer clear visibility into how events impact our facilities and travelers. The ability to send targeted notifications, automate workflows, and document actions within a single platform enhances both response speed and accountability. I’m especially looking forward to the implementation of the new AI system, as it has the potential to streamline processes even further.

**What do you dislike about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

Some parts of Everbridge Critical Event Management are more complicated than they should be—especially when you’re trying to fine-tune alert criteria, manage asset associations, or build automation rules. If you’re not already experienced with the platform, it can feel confusing and time-consuming to get things set up correctly. In reality, most teams end up needing ongoing training and support just to use these features effectively and consistently.

**What problems is Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everbridge 360 is helping us address gaps in how we detect, manage, and communicate during critical events. Before using the platform, our processes were more manual and fragmented—alerts could be delayed, communication wasn’t always consistent, and it was harder to quickly understand which people or assets were impacted.

With Everbridge 360, we’ve improved our ability to centralize incident detection and response, automate notifications, and target the right audiences more quickly. This has helped reduce response times, improve coordination across teams, and increase overall situational awareness during disruptions.

That said, the platform does require effort to configure and maintain effectively. Some workflows—like setting up alert criteria, asset mapping, and automation rules—can be complex, so ongoing training and internal ownership are important to fully realize its value.

**What do you like best about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

I really like the flexibility of Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management) and its ability to adapt to our needs. I also appreciate that it offers open access for parents, students, faculty, staff, and visitors, which is fantastic for a college setting like ours. The platform allows anybody to access it, and most importantly, it lets our security operations center see individuals who activate any kind of SOS or message in real-time, which helps in making our campus safer. The initial setup was super easy, especially with the support from Everbridge and the assistance of our technical account manager, Scott Nethereau. His expertise, flexibility, and willingness to help were tremendous, allowing us to meet tight deadlines effectively. Lastly, I'd say the overall ease of the platform and the standard it sets for mass communication and critical support are quite impressive.

I think the communication around what the comms button and secure chat features are for could be improved. It would also be beneficial to have marketing materials available from Everbridge on the different features to share with my communications and marketing team, as well as faculty, staff, and students.

Everbridge 360 enhances campus safety, enables real-time assistance through our security operations center, and provides an adaptive platform that is open access for all. It also helped meet compliance quickly for a tip line app launch.

**What do you like best about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

I love the service team. They are so good and so responsive. I don't like having to call them, but usually it's for something I just need to be taught a little bit on, and it's one of the best teams. One time I configured new roles for different subsidiaries within our country and somehow did it incompletely, so I put in a ticket and they walked me through all the pieces I needed to add to make sure it was a complete role profile. Speed of response is really important, and I hear from them the same day, usually within minutes instead of multiple hours. They know what they're doing and they are technically excellent. They're also really willing to hear feedback. If there's something I'm asking for or want that they don't have, they volunteer immediately to get an enhancement request in, and then they keep me posted on it. It's just a really great two way conversation. The persistent ringtones and alerts have made it much more reliable, and the fact that it can function on Wi-Fi and cellular has made a huge difference. I value the alerts, the alert workflows, and messaging the most. The persistent alerts were a huge win, especially since people used to easily sleep through a single phone call, and people in not great cell areas would miss calls. The fact that it's an app and can function on either kind of connectivity, the persistent messaging, and that they can forward messages within the app instead of having to call somebody have all been really helpful. It integrates with the NICE CXone platform. Compared to the systems we used before, this is by far the best solution.

{"I don't like the workflow canvases very much.","I feel like it's hard to keep things organized.","Things just blend together. I just don't like the interface.","You're looking at a gray screen with gray icons on it. Color would be good. Anything to visually break it up.","Color code the icons or the actions. That's the biggest one, color coding the actions.","Initial setup was moderate. I needed pro services.","I don't like to have to call the service team, but usually it's for something I need to be taught a little bit on."}

I use it for weekend and after hours medical device support. It solves the inability to reach agents overnight when they're not ready to take a call. The persistent ringtones and alerts made it much more reliable, and it works on Wi-Fi and cellular, which made a huge difference.

I'm most impressed by how it adds dependability to critical communication processes. The features make it easier to communicate to the right people, and that has helped to minimise errors during emergencies. I appreciate it enhances trust with sharing urgent information with teams. We have also liked the customer service. The greatest thing is it makes emergency communication more reliable and less labour intensive to organise.

An area of improvement for me is that communications groups can require additional work when updating settings. The feature set is great, but some settings are slightly less user friendly when adjusting settings. This has affected my productivity by taking extra time to change communication lists for various use cases.

Everbridge 360 has addressed the problem for me of getting clear and structured information in emergency situations. Its many features help ensure effective communication in teams, which has led to fewer miscommunications and confusion. This has enabled my team to better respond to emergencies. I've also found the customer service helpful.

What I like best about Everbridge 360 is that it brings together intelligence, communication, automation, and organizational resilience into a single, cohesive system. Its ability to help teams know earlier, respond faster, and improve continuously makes it one of the most sophisticated and user‑friendly Critical Event Management platforms available today.

**What do you dislike about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

Most of the “dislikes” around Everbridge 360 don’t stem from the platform’s capabilities—rather, they come from the inherent complexity of enterprise‑level critical event management.
The system is extremely powerful, but that power requires:

strong governance
disciplined configuration
ongoing data hygiene
dedicated owners or administrators

In environments like healthcare, where staff turnover is high and events are unpredictable, these challenges can feel amplified.

I use Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management) as a simple safety app to keep our team safe and informed. I love the tools for simple check-ins and the SOS button. The simple process for employee check-ins just requires tapping a button to confirm safety during emergencies. Additionally, the SOS button is very helpful because if an employee is in trouble while traveling, they can press it to immediately alert the system and send their location on the platform. It's a straightforward way to ensure everyone's safety and well-being by automating the whole process.

**What do you dislike about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

Some of the demo video and guidance video haven't been updated to match the new software versions release, which makes it confusing to find specific settings. The interface has two menus with many options we never use, making it look more complicated than it really is.

I use Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management) for sending mass notifications in seconds and keeping our team safe and informed during emergencies. It lets me send alerts via phone, text, and computer screen, and keeps emergency plans in one easy-to-find place.

I can say that the mass notification aspect does work. Honestly though I needed it for. When there is some sort of event occurring you don't want to be messing around. So far I have not had to. You are able to establish contact groups and templates prior to an emergency occurring, when an incident occurs you simply fill in details and send. Not rebuild the wheel. While not perfect, the dashboard provides a good look at who has received notifications and who has not in near real time.

**What do you dislike about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

Setting up and configuring the product initially will require a person who is familiar with parameterizing a large amount of data. If that is not available within your organization it may take a significant amount of time to configure. Finally, I am a bit petty, but the default display on the dashboard always shows all items related to my entire organization.

**What problems is Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to implementing Everbridge 360, we were using email chains and phone tree systems to coordinate critical events. As bad as that sounds, this was our method for coordination. With Everbridge 360 all of these processes are centralized into one system/process. In addition to providing a centralized solution, Everbridge 360 creates an audit trail of all activity.

**What do you like best about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

I like that, for the most part, the system is easy to navigate when using it at a basic level. While it can be more complicated at the admin level, depending on build outs, customization, etc, the support team that we work with is helpful. The integration of the different products attempts to seamlessly move across the features and operations that we need in critical situations.Overall, this system is fully integrated into the operations of our segments across the globe. we rely heavily on its operations and functionality so i is a positive that we can work across the platforms as needed.

**What do you dislike about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)?**

I find that some of the functionality is not "smart" in that some tasks, many basic seeming connections, do not exist without extensive customization and build outs. I also find that product development for some critical functions, such as geocoding in non-domestic US locations, can be abysmal at best and failing completely at worst. This has been an on going issue for years now and is one of our biggest complaints from our team. Some of the system seems to lack intuitive function. With our need of sending messages and use of the system, we can not afford to lose functionality in the system for issues that should not exist. We send at times 20,000 messages a month and can't afford to drop them.

We utilize Everbridge for a multitude of  reasons and it allows us to communicate with our teams when it matters most. It allows us to evaluate risks, determine their impacts, and reach our employees as needed. This is a huge feat when managing a system as large as ours with a significant employee population. We want our employees safe and informed and this helps us do that.
