“Visual, Customizable, and a Huge Time-Saver for Keeping Teams Aligned”
What do you like best about monday Work Management?

What I like most about monday.com is how visual and customizable it is. I can quickly see job statuses, crews, and deadlines at a glance, without having to dig through spreadsheets. It helps keep everyone aligned, and it saves me a ton of time in my day-to-day work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about monday Work Management?

If I had to pick something, it’s that there’s a bit of a learning curve at first with figuring out the different views (tables vs. timeline, etc) but once you get things set up, it’s smooth and well worth the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before monday, we were using spreadsheets to keep track of jobs, and it eventually became a bit of a mess. With monday, we can track roofing jobs, schedules, and communication all in one place, which has helped us stay more organized. It’s cut down on missed details and the constant back-and-forth check-ins. I can manage crews and projects with more confidence now, even when I’m juggling multiple jobs at once. “Clean, Sleek UI with Smooth Integrations for Hassle-Free Collaboration”
What do you like best about ClickUp?

The interface is clean, sleek, and easy to navigate. The app integrates smoothly, which makes collaboration feel straightforward and hassle-free. The Gmail plugin also helps cut down on how often I need to switch over to my email tab, so I can stay focused in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

A large part of the Indian market (especially my clients) runs their business on WhatsApp. Because there’s no direct integration with WhatsApp, I have to rely on a third-party automation tool, which adds extra cost. If there were a way to integrate WhatsApp with Clickup, it would make things much easier for me, even though I’m not a big proponent of WhatsApp as a channel for business communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have multiple resources across several departments working on a single project, and as a business owner, Clickup makes task allocation and overall project and manpower management much simpler for me. Now I only need to open one window to get a clear, high-level overview of everything that’s going on. Brainstorming on the Whiteboard is terrific as well. It’s saving me man-hours and helping optimise productivity, even if it’s taking some time to get my team to fully adopt it as their primary work tool. Still, they’ll have to fall in line eventually. “Asana Keeps Work Clear, Structured, and Easy to Track”
What do you like best about Asana?

What I like most about Asana is how clearly it helps me see my work. All tasks are organized in one place, so I always know what I need to do and what is coming next. Creating tasks, setting due dates, and assigning work to team members is very simple. Even when projects become large, Asana keeps everything structured and easy to follow. I also like how flexible Asna is. I can view my work in different ways, such as lists, boards, or timelines. depending on what feels easiest at the moment. This helps me plan my day better and manage long-term projects without feeling overwhelmed. The reminders and notifications are helpful because they make sure nothing important is forgotten. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

One thing I dislike about Asana is that it can feel a bit heavy for very small tasks or simple personal use. If someone only needs a basic to-do list, Asana might feel like more than necessary. It takes some time to fully understand all features, especially for new users. Another downside is that some powerful features are available only in paid plans. For teams on a tight budget, this can be limiting. Also, notifications can sometimes become too frequent if settings are not adjusted properly, which may feel distracting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?

Asana solves the problem of work confusion and poor task tracking in many teams, work gets lost in emails. chats or meetings, and people are unsure about responsibilities and deadlines. Asana brings clarity by putting all tasks, deadlines, and ownership in one visible system. For me the biggest benefit is better focus and time management. I can clearly see my priorities for the day and plan my work without stress. It reduces mental load because I don't have to remember everything; Asana keeps track for me. It also improves collaboration. Everyone knows who is working on what, which reduces repeated questions and misunderstandings. Progress is visible, so meetings become more meaningful and shorter. It helps reduce follow-ups and constant checking. Earlier I had to ask people again and again about task status. With Asana, updates are already there, so I save time and avoid unnecessary messages. It brings accountability to the team. When a task is clearly assigned to someone with a deadline, there is less confusion and fewer excuses for delays. This makes everyone more responsible and improves overall work quality. It makes planning long-term work much easier. Big projects often feel scary, but Asana breaks them into small tasks. This helps me move step by step instead of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. It improves transparency between managers and team members. Everyone can see progress without pressure or micromanagement. This builds trust and keeps work relationships healthier. It helps me maintain work-life balance. Since my tasks and deadlines are clearly planned, I can finish work on time and avoid last-minute stress. I feel more in control of my day instead of reacting to chaos. “Notion Just Works: One Place for Notes, Ideas, and Everything Else”
What do you like best about Notion?

I like Notion does what it's supposed to well rather than trying to be something else. It's got a wide range of features but all centered around being a place to store notes, thoughts and ideas. I use it for everything from meeting notes to keeping an inventory of what's in the freezer and it just works without a fuss. It also works seamlessly across my multiple desktop's and mobile so I always have the latest copy of my notes wherever I need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I found switching from another product tricky, I personally found a bit of a learning curve for the interface especially with some of the more 'advanced' features. They work absolutely fine just a case of getting used to them and understanding what's possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ultimately while I wouldn't use Notion for 'formal' documentation I also need somewhere to put all my thoughts, ideas, notes where I can be quick and scrappy and make those notes easy to search, this is what Notion does exceptionally well. I can start writing a note within a second, close it and very easily find it at short notice at a later date. I can also do that across multiple devices so be writing notes on my desktop and then look at them on my phone pretty quickly when I need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“JIRA Streamlined Our Project Tracking with Efficient GitLab & Microsoft Teams Integration”
What do you like best about Jira?

In our company we used JIRA to manage and track our software projects likes its tasks, bugs and features. Also we integrates gitlab and mircrosoft teams in the JIRA and that works so efficiently like native part of it. And JIRA provides customize dashboard so i can monitor and track project data as per my need so i dont need to do filtering everytime and that saves my lots of the time and increase our project development and deployment speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira?

In the JIRA sometimes when i apply some large JQL and filter it takes time to give me data and also that time UI becomes laggy and slow. And Also Customer Support of the JIRA replies are from the bots so there is need more human agents to resolves our queries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?

The JIRA solves the problem of the project track and project management. Before the JIRA we struggled with this that we manually manage records in the sheet and maintaining proper data in the sheet is so hard so now by using the JIRA we can easily manage track records its status. and by JIRA JQL we can search and find information so quickly. So JIRA improves project management and increase our speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Smartsheet Shines: Automated Linking, Smart Forms, and Clean Dashboards”
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

Smartsheet allows me to create automatic task linking, project timeline alerting and status updates. I also love the conditional logic forms in Smartsheet because I can limit the team to enter only the relevant data and avoid entering unnecessary data for them. Finally, I think Smartsheet's dashboard functionality is unique in its consistent and clean visualization of project progress, risk and workload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

I do wish there were additional interactive elements (drill downs) included in Smartsheet's dashboards so I could view the details of metrics at a lower level without needing to switch views, it would greatly decrease the amount of manual work needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?

Overall, Smartsheet has made it much simpler for me to communicate centralized project progress and reduced the dependency on multiple disparate spreadsheets. The increased visibility and clarity that Smartsheet provides definitely improve the predictability of critical dates for projects. The dashboards of Smartsheet provide a powerful and consistent visual language across projects, allowing for better comparisons, prioritizations and decision-making with less need to develop new ways to track progress for each project. “Airtable: Spreadsheet Simplicity with Database Power for Flexible Workflows”
What do you like best about Airtable?

What I like best about Airtable is how it blends the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the power of a full database. Key features like customizable views (Kanban, Grid, Gallery, Calendar, ), linked records, and rich field types (attachments, formulas, rollups) make it easy to model almost any workflow. Automations, Interfaces, and native integrations (Jira, Slack, Zoom Workspace) reduce manual work, while real-time collaboration, permissions, and version history keep teams aligned. It’s flexible enough for non-technical users, yet powerful enough to scale into serious operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airtable?

Performance may slow down with very large or complex bases, and some automation and reporting capabilities are less advanced compared to specialized tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?

Airtable helps solve the problem of scattered data, rigid tools, and manual coordination by providing a single, flexible platform where you can organize information and workflows without a heavy technical setup. It can replace ad-hoc spreadsheets, basic databases, and disconnected tools by centralizing data through linked records, multiple views, and automations. The result is faster execution, clearer visibility across projects, fewer errors caused by manual updates, and smoother collaboration—so teams can adapt their processes quickly and make decisions using real-time, structured data. Morningmate has been a project management game-changer for handling brand campaigns. By centralizing all project management tasks, our team reduced campaign planning time by nearly 35%. Tracking KPIs in real-time allowed us to spot underperforming channels quickly and reallocate budget more effectively. Thanks to this, our most recent campaign achieved a 20% higher engagement rate compared to the previous quarter.

Having one workspace where designers, marketers, and external partners collaborate seamlessly made execution smoother and faster. The automation of repetitive updates also freed up more time for creative work, which directly contributed to stronger campaign results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about morningmate?

I just wish more marketers knew about this tool, since it’s still not as widely recognized as it deserves to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is morningmate solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Morningmate, our marketing projects often suffered from scattered communication and missed deadlines across different tools. Morningmate centralized all project management tasks, which cut down planning time and reduced confusion between teams. Real-time KPI tracking helped us identify underperforming campaigns quickly and optimize budgets more effectively. Collaboration with external partners also became smoother, since everyone could work in the same workspace without constant email back-and-forth. What do you like best about Ravetree?

The project budgeting features in Ravetree are the best I've ever seen. We were in spreadsheets prior to using Ravetree and looked at other tools before moving to Ravetree. They were the only one that had the budgeting features we needed. Specifically, we needed to set budgets for each project phase and then have those roll up to the project. We also needed the ability to invoice for each of these phases—sometimes as a percentage. Ravetree allows for all of this. Very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ravetree?

What do you dislike about Wrike?

“Backlog: Easy, Affordable Project Management with Strong Collaboration & Visibility”
What do you like best about Backlog?

Backlog is most helpful to me as a simple, centralized way to manage projects, tasks, and team communication in one place. Its main upsides are ease of use, clear task tracking, and strong collaboration features like comments, notifications, and shared wikis. Visual tools such as Kanban boards, Gantt charts, and burndown charts help teams plan work and monitor progress. For software teams, built-in Git integration improves traceability between code and tasks. Overall, Backlog increases transparency, accountability, and productivity while remaining affordable and easy to adopt for small to mid-sized teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backlog?

The least helpful aspects of Backlog i have experienced are its limited advanced features and customization compared to more powerful tools like Jira. It may feel restrictive for large or complex projects that require detailed workflows, automation, or advanced reporting. Backlog’s integrations with third-party apps are also relatively limited, which can be a drawback for teams using many external tools. Its user interface, while simple, can feel basic and less flexible for power users. Additionally, Backlog is less suited for organizations needing highly scalable enterprise-level project management or deep analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Backlog solving and how is that benefiting you?

A backlog solves the problem of unclear priorities and forgotten work for me by organizing tasks in one visible, ranked list. It reduces chaos, prevents overcommitment, and makes trade-offs explicit. This benefits me by improving focus, decision-making, and efficiency, while building trust with stakeholders and creating a clear sense of progress and direction in daily work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Comprehensive Project Management with Stellar Transparency Features”
What do you like best about Worksection?

I appreciate the seamless balance between a user-friendly interface and powerful administrative depth in Worksection, which allows for immediate team adoption without extensive training. The platform's standout feature for me is its native time-tracking and financial reporting, providing real-time visibility into project margins and burn rates directly from the task view. The flexibility of Guest roles and private comments helps us maintain transparency with clients while keeping internal strategies confidential. Worksection also offers visual clarity through Gantt and Kanban views, enhancing project management. The responsive technical support further makes Worksection feel like a custom-tailored command center for our operations. The integrated timer and hourly-rate system in Worksection is a game-changer for our billing, automating our project profitability analysis and simplifying billing workflows without needing separate software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Worksection?

While Worksection excels at core project management and client transparency, the experience is occasionally hampered by a mobile application that feels like a 'lite' companion rather than a full-service workspace, making complex on-the-go adjustments difficult. The platform's integration ecosystem remains somewhat limited compared to enterprise competitors, often requiring manual workarounds or third-party middleware to sync with broader CRM and marketing stacks. Additionally, the continued absence of a native desktop application can lead to browser fatigue for heavy users, and while the reporting tools are clean, they lack the deep customization and cross-board merging capabilities needed for advanced data visualization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Worksection to eliminate project fragmentation, centralizing all communications and task histories. It bridges internal operations and client expectations, automates time tracking and billing, and transforms our workflow into a proactive, data-driven process, ensuring project profitability and accountability. “Flexible and Powerful project management that's easy to get in to fast.”
What do you like best about Freedcamp?

I like the visualization of each project using the Kanban layout as it gives me a very quick indication of how my task list is looking for each project. I also really appreciate the alarm badge which shows how many tasks have been updated and are awaiting my contribution. This helps me avoid keeping clients waiting for a response during busy periods as I can home in on urgent tasks.

There are many other features to like such as the notes, discussions, and widgets however my use case I don't have to dip into those very much.

I also like that my clients find the system very easy to use. I have totally replaced by ticketing system with Freedcamp as my client appreciates the ease of use.

Finally, with a product that has so many features it is important to have good support online to guide me through any areas I am unfamiliar with and Freedcamp is also strong in this area.

I researched many project planners before settling on Freedcamp and I quickly came to realize that I made the right choice. I even upgraded my package, but if you are on a budget, the cost to entry is extremely low so I highly recommend anyone tries Freedcamp first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freedcamp?

There genuinely is not anything I dislike. I don't even have any feature requests for the developer. Everything works just like I need it to and if I am unsure of anything the support is first class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Freedcamp:

If you are looking for an easy to dive into project management tool that offers all the bells and whistles you might want to grow into - make use of the very low introductory offers to try Freeedcamp - I never looked back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Freedcamp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Freedcamp lets me manage many web projects in one clear and efficient workspace. I genuinely do not know how I would manage with it.

I use it for two things, project management and support tickets.

For project management, I can clearly lay out tasks for many projects, and even group them into different areas (for example clients or web properties) and visualize progress. For client support tickets I can have simple efficient conversations with clients in the same layout as project management tasks so there is no learning required for different use cases. This is a real time saver for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Intuitive, Flexible Visual Workflow Management with Trello”
What do you like best about Trello?

Trello is one of the easiest and most effective tools for organizing work visually. Its board-and-card layout feels intuitive and flexible, and it works well for everything from simple task tracking to lightweight project management. It’s fast to set up, easy for teams to adopt, and it keeps workflows clear without adding unnecessary complexity. Features like checklists, labels, due dates, and automations (Butler) help keep projects moving, while integrations with tools like Slack and Google Drive make it even more useful as a central place to manage tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

For more complex project management needs, Trello can start to feel limited compared with more structured tools. As boards grow larger, they can become cluttered and harder to navigate, and reporting or more advanced dependency tracking typically requires Power-Ups or other additional tooling. On top of that, some key features and automation limits are tied to paid plans, which can be an important consideration for growing teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?

Trello helps solve the challenge of keeping tasks, priorities, and overall project status visible and organized in one place. It cuts down on confusion and keeps teams aligned by making work easy to follow as it moves from “to do” to “done.” I’ve found it especially useful for managing ongoing workflows, small-to-mid projects, and cross-functional collaboration without the heavy overhead of more complex project management tools. Overall, it supports better accountability, clearer prioritization, and faster execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Intuitive Workspace for Document Management”
What do you like best about ONLYOFFICE Workspace?

I like that ONLYOFFICE Workspace is very intuitive and encompasses all sorts of documents, helping me stay much more organized by having everything in one central place. I also love that there is a free tier, which means it doesn't cost me anything to use it. The initial setup wasn't challenging at all and was quite intuitive. The integration of different kinds of documents like PDFs, spreadsheets, and word processing docs is much easier compared to Google Workspace, which I formerly used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ONLYOFFICE Workspace?

I was disappointed at its inability to handle very large documents, and there really isn't much customer service. It's kind of self-help, which is disappointing. I think they need stronger customer support if they're going to continue to grow and get more individuals to join. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ONLYOFFICE Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?

ONLYOFFICE Workspace simplifies my work by integrating PDFs, spreadsheets, and word documents into one central platform. It's intuitive, helping me stay organized without switching between different apps, unlike Google Workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
