for advance financial modeling and forecasting, xero is limited and depends on external tools . custom report building aslo has some constraints, and complex analysis usually requires exporting data, pricing can increase as usage and integration grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Flexible ERP with Robust Features, But Needs Strong Support”
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I really appreciate that Acumatica supports our entire business from lead management to sales orders and fulfillment. I find it flexible, easy to use, yet operationally robust and functional. It allows us to replicate the business processes that the market demands and to do so in a functionally correct manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

The richness of the product requires more serious support from Acumatica that we seem to have difficulty accessing, at times. We currently use Acumatica as our VAR, and they have structural issues that have led to a negative experience. The transition from Sage 100 was initially painful, taking 3 years to convert. Challenges came from end user non-participation and lack of serious commitment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?

Acumatica supports our business from lead management to payment collection. It's flexible and easy to use yet robust, and it lets us adapt to market demands in a functionally correct manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Workiva Makes Reporting and Compliance Smooth, Collaborative, and Stress-Free”
What do you like best about Workiva?

What I like about Workiva for audit management is how it turns a normally stressful, paperwork-heavy process into something surprisingly smooth. It centralizes all audit evidence, documentation, and findings in one platform, so you don’t waste time chasing files or reconciling spreadsheets. Real-time collaboration, automated workflows, and built-in audit trails make it easy to track progress, ensure compliance, and keep everyone on the same page, basically turning audits from a headache into a well-orchestrated, almost satisfying process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workiva?

What I dislike about Workiva is that it can feel a bit overwhelming for new users, especially with so many features packed into one platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Workiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workiva is solving the problem of manual, fragmented audit processes and the risk of errors or missed compliance requirements. By centralizing audit documentation, evidence, and workflows in one platform, it ensures that everything is organized, traceable, and easily accessible. This benefits us by reducing time spent on administrative tasks, improving accuracy, streamlining collaboration between audit teams, and ensuring full compliance, making audits faster, more transparent, and far less stressful. “Streamlined Close Process with Seamless Integration and Top Support”
What do you like best about FloQast?

From a Chartered Accountant’s perspective in RTR, what I like best about FloQast is how it brings structure and transparency to the close process. It simplifies reconciliations, provides clear visibility into close status, and ensures strong audit trails. This reduces manual follow-ups, improves accuracy, and allows me to focus more on analysis and reporting rather than coordination.

Also its ease of use and ease of implementation, which allow the team to get productive quickly without heavy training. The tool integrates smoothly with existing ERPs, making integration seamless and reducing manual work. Its strong customer support ensures quick resolution of issues during close. The frequency of use reflects how naturally it fits into daily RTR activities, and the right number of features keeps the close process efficient without adding unnecessary complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

During month-end close, when a client had entity-specific reconciliation requirements and ad-hoc adjusting entries, FloQast’s standardized checklist and reconciliation formats didn’t fully accommodate these exceptions. This led to maintaining parallel Excel trackers outside the system, increasing manual effort and the risk of version-control issues, which partially offsets the efficiency benefits FloQast aims to provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?

FloQast addresses the challenge of disorganized and manually driven close activities by bringing all close tasks, reconciliations, and reviews into one structured platform. In an RTR role, this helps eliminate scattered trackers and constant follow-ups.

The benefit to me is better control and visibility over the close process. I can clearly track task ownership, review status, and supporting documentation in real time. This improves accuracy, strengthens compliance, and reduces time spent on coordination, allowing greater focus on review and financial insights rather than process management. “Intuitive, Paperless Accounting That Streamlines Monthly Close and Audits”
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I like how easy it is to maneuver through the application. The product is intuitive and simple for managers and leaders to drill into the application to find their own answers. The application has allowed us to be almost entirely paperless and simplifies closing the books on a monthly basis. In addition by granting our auditors read only access to the application our audit has become more efficient and less burdensome for staff as auditors can drill and pull supporting documents themselves cutting down on requests for additional supporting documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Custom report writing is a bit cumbersome and takes some learning especially when it comes to understanding reporting groups. When adding new accounts the user needs to be aware that the new account may not be properly mapped to one of the groups and could therefore put reports out of balance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allows front line staff to enter purchasing requests that are approved by management cutting down on mistakes and automating the workflow for purchasing. Sage also allows for importing of transactions and transaction activity from the CMS and POS systems which allows for daily and monthly revenue balancing with our core systems thereby cutting down on data entry labor and data entry errors. The internal communication system allows for audit trails and notes to be attached to transactions creating a single source for information related to the financial statements. The collaboration feature keeps things contained in the system and the cloud based solution allows executive management to stay connected when off property. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Real-Time Data Sync Revolutionizes Financial Reporting”
What do you like best about LiveFlow?

The most impactful part of LiveFlow is the automated, real-time data sync. In the past, our financial reporting was always lagging. By the time we manually pulled reports from QuickBooks into Google Sheets, the data was already several days old. Especially when we're waiting for a third party team to reconcile our account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LiveFlow?

The initial setup of complex, custom-mapped reports can take a little bit of time. However, the LiveFlow support team is super responsive and helps bridge that gap quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LiveFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?

We struggled with accurate cash flow forecasting. Because our actuals were updated manually, our forecasts were often based on outdated assumptions.

LiveFlow solves this by keeping our actuals current. This has made forecasting so much easier because we can now see our real-time cash position and runway at a glance. It allows us to perform instant variance analysis and make strategic pivots based on what is happening now, rather than what happened last month. It has saved our finance team hours of spreadsheet gymnastics every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A True Single Source of Truth with Flexible Customization and Real-Time Insights”
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite’s biggest strength is that it serves as a true single source of truth across finance, operations, projects, and reporting. Having transactions, job costing, inventory, purchasing, and financials all tied together in one system dramatically improves visibility and accountability. The flexibility of saved searches, workflows, and custom fields allows us to adapt the system to our business without heavy custom development, and the real-time access to data supports better decision-making. From a scalability standpoint, NetSuite also gives confidence that the platform can grow with the business rather than needing to be replaced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

While NetSuite is powerful, it can feel overly complex for everyday users, especially when simple tasks require deep configuration or workarounds. Some reporting and UI behaviors (such as recalculation delays, limited control over certain system fields, or inconsistent filter behavior between reports and saved searches) can be frustrating. There is also a noticeable learning curve, and changes that seem small on the surface often require admin involvement, scripts, or workflows. Finally, performance and transparency around background processes (like project profitability recalculations) could be improved to help users better trust and understand what they’re seeing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

NetSuite is solving the challenge of fragmented systems and disconnected data by bringing financials, purchasing, inventory, projects, time, and reporting into one integrated platform. This reduces manual reconciliation, duplicate data entry, and errors that occur when information lives in multiple tools. As a result, we have better visibility into job costs, project profitability, and operational performance, which helps us make more informed decisions. The system also enforces consistent processes and controls as the business grows, allowing us to scale operations without losing financial accuracy or oversight. It also offers multi-dimensional models that handle large enterprises and help ensure efficiency. In addition, the app is cloud-based, with secure and governable systems that support smooth coordination and collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anaplan?

Implementing Anaplan and maintaining the tool require high costs and a strong level of expertise. The complex models also need additional support when it comes to ongoing maintenance and day-to-day management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Anaplan solving and how is that benefiting you?

Anaplan is systematic at connecting different business operations to support a centralized planning process. The app includes automated calculation mechanisms that help with forecasting. What do you like best about Datarails?

The platform's ability to centralize multiple data sources seamlessly. We integrated two EHR/ERP systems, Paycom for HCM, and two other applications, and Datarails was able to crosswalk our chart of accounts historically to connect financials and aggregate data without losing anything. What do you dislike about Datarails?

The UX sometimes gets glitchy when utilizing the 'Storyboards' narrative tool if you don't size or format the visuals to the board's native architecture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Datarails solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an ASC with BI coming from multiple sources, we needed a platform that could truly integrate everything, not just promise it. Datarails centralizes our disparate systems, connected to historical financials, and is on its way to giving us a single source of truth for budgeting and forecasting. It's eliminated the manual visual build-out headaches and freed up time for actual FP&A discussions. “Fulcrum Review”
What do you like best about Fulcrum?

We have been using Fulcrum ERP for approximately 18 months in our aerospace manufacturing environment, and the experience has been very positive overall.

Fulcrum provided us with a dedicated onboarding integration specialist who guided us through the setup process. This individual was not only highly knowledgeable about the software, but also flexible and open-minded in helping us align Fulcrum with our aerospace-specific requirements. That willingness to adapt was critical in ensuring that we could maximize the system’s potential from the start.

Fulcrum stands out as a job shop ERP system designed with manufacturers in mind. One of the strengths of the platform is that it allows customers to either build their processes from scratch or migrate data from an existing ERP system. The software itself is robust, intuitive, and comprehensive, covering a wide range of functions needed to run a manufacturing operation efficiently.

While Fulcrum cannot customize every feature for each individual customer, they actively listen to client feedback and often incorporate widely requested changes into future updates. Compared to other ERP systems we’ve used, Fulcrum demonstrates a clear commitment to leveraging new technology and adapting to industry changes.

After the onboarding phase, Fulcrum transitions customers to a dedicated customer service representative. This continuity has been refreshing — it’s much more efficient to have a consistent point of contact rather than working with a different support agent every time. Both the onboarding team and the ongoing support staff have been knowledgeable, professional, and responsive.

Fulcrum has proven to be one of the most forward-thinking and comprehensive ERP platforms we have worked with. However, as with any ERP investment, success depends heavily on the effort put in by the customer. Clean data and thorough employee training are essential. I cannot overstate the importance of working closely with the onboarding specialist to ensure the system is configured correctly and that your team understands how to use its tools to their fullest potential.

Fulcrum has exceeded our expectations as a modern ERP solution for manufacturers. Their commitment to technology, customer input, and professional support make them stand out in a crowded field. We would recommend Fulcrum to other manufacturers seeking a flexible, evolving, and customer-focused ERP system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fulcrum?

Like most ERPs, there is a significant learning curve. Success really depends on the quality of training and how disciplined the company is about keeping data clean. The onboarding phase requires a lot of focus and coordination. If a company isn’t fully engaged during this time, it can limit how effectively the system is set up for long-term success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Fulcrum, information may have been scattered across spreadsheets, paper travelers, or legacy ERP systems. Fulcrum centralizes everything into one platform, reducing duplicate data entry and errors. Fulcrum helps us better manage work orders, scheduling, and capacity planning. This ensures we know where each job is in the process and can adjust quickly if priorities change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer Success: They’re always available to meet within 24 hours to help ideate or solve complex situations. They truly feel like a partner and an extension of our FP&A team.

Scalability: Being in tech, the business is in high growth through both organic and inorganic methods. Aleph has handled both with ease, which gives us long-term stability in our financial reporting function.

Solves for disparate systems: With the integration and the ability to load manual data into the platform and map it into BvA tables, we can look at financial data coming from seven different accounting systems in a uniform way. This speeds up reporting, forecasting, and insights into business performance.

Drill-down functionality: We can see underlying data in seconds without leaving the file we’re in, which saves time when putting together flux commentary.

AI capabilities: The ability to have Aleph take a first pass at P&L commentary is huge. In addition, being able to dictate how it looks at the data upfront makes it even more scalable (department first vs. GL, or vendor first, then department, etc.). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

There is some complexity in the setup for consolidating data tables that I don't necessarily understand (although I have not tried). This is easily solved with support from their Customer Success org or if I had a more technical mind on my team, they'd likely easily navigate this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OneStream - Unified EPM?

It would be great to have API integration to manage security using an external tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OneStream - Unified EPM solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a few hundred entities globally so OneStream is used to capture all the Actuals data from across a number of ERP systems in a unified way. This enables us to close our books quicker then before and has saved us 3 days in closing our books. We can also complete our forecast and budget and proforma data in the application at the same level of granularity. WIth a high volume of data we are leveraging the Vertical and Horizontal extensibility which gives us details at the right level and performance in consolidation.
