“Streamlined Reporting with Room for Improvement”
What do you like best about Workiva?

I use Workiva for SEC filing, reporting with W Data, and other minor entities. I like how Workiva keeps our version control in check and allows for commenting and workflow on shared documents. It also enables us to conduct SOX testing, perform markups, and handle sample selections and requests efficiently. I'm glad we did the initial setup ourselves because it was very educational, which made us more familiar with the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workiva?

Some areas that can be improved are markups, uploading support for audit and SOX testing. The sampling tool isn't as useful as I would like it to be, plus the request section and attaching things to spreadsheets can be a little finicky. The initial setup took much longer than I thought because we did it on our own without paying for a catered experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Workiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Datarails?

I like the seamless use in practice, I was not heavily involved in the integration of the software however I am a heavy user of the software, and it is seamless and faultless, it takes care of everything for you, it's integrated with some of our outdated software and has sped up reporting by 4-5 Days, the software is easy to use and the UI is easy to understand,, and there are resources available to allow for further guidance, I was not involved in the pricing discussion however whatever was paid it has made my work life easier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Data rails is solving processing and manual processes, previously we would have to re-paste any new data on top of old data every time a change was made, now with data rails, we just refresh and it's done, it's a massive time saver and also takes away some of the headache of remembering whether the data is the most recent Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Flexible ERP That Empowers Customization and Scales with Your Business”
What do you like best about Acumatica?

Acumatica is especially helpful because it lets non-developers customize the system (within reason) to fit their specific business needs. That flexibility is incredibly powerful for the small to mid-size businesses that do well with Acumatica. It has also enabled us to grow and scale while staying within the ERP itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

It can be difficult to get in touch with anyone directly at Acumatica. If your partner isn’t able to help, it often becomes a slow and frustrating process to get issues resolved through Acumatica support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Xero Brings Clear Financial Visibility and Organized Accounting in One Place”
What do you like best about Xero?

What I like most about Xero is how easy it is to keep day-to-day financial records organized in one place. We use it to track invoices, expenses, bank transactions, and financial reports without needing to move between multiple systems.

One feature I particularly value is the bank reconciliation workflow. Matching transactions and keeping records up to date is much faster compared to manual tracking, and it gives better visibility into our financial position at any given time.

Xero also makes it easier to collaborate with finance stakeholders because reporting is centralized and accessible. Instead of relying on spreadsheets, we can quickly review financial data, monitor cash flow, and keep records consistent across the business.

Overall, it helps reduce administrative work while giving a clearer picture of the company’s finances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xero?

One challenge with Xero is that some accounting workflows have a learning curve, especially for users who don’t work in finance every day. Tasks such as bank reconciliation, report customization, and account setup can take some time to fully understand when you’re new to the platform.

While Xero is powerful once configured properly, I think the onboarding experience could do a better job guiding non-finance users through key processes and explaining accounting concepts within the product itself.

After the initial setup period, navigation becomes much easier, but new users may need some time before they feel fully comfortable using all of the available features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?

Xero helps solve the challenge of keeping financial records organized and accessible in one place. Instead of managing invoices, expenses, bank transactions, and reporting across multiple spreadsheets or systems, everything is centralized and easier to track.

One of the biggest benefits is reducing manual work. Features like bank transaction matching and reconciliation help keep records up to date without as much administrative effort. It also makes it easier to review financial reports, monitor cash flow, and understand the overall financial position of the business.

Having that visibility in a single platform improves consistency and helps support better financial decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“NetSuite Unifies Core Processes with Powerful Visibility and Reporting”
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I like best about NetSuite is its ability to bring all core business processes into a single, integrated platform. It provides strong visibility across finance, operations, and supply chain, which helps improve decision-making and efficiency.

I especially value the flexibility of saved searches and reporting, which makes it easy to quickly access and analyze the data needed for day-to-day work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

While NetSuite is a powerful and flexible platform, there are some limitations that can impact day-to-day usability.

One of the main challenges is with Saved Searches, particularly around complex criteria and advanced filtering. As requirements become more sophisticated, it can be difficult to build or maintain searches without workarounds, and performance can sometimes be impacted.

From a supply chain perspective, there are also limitations in inventory management and demand forecasting capabilities. Forecasting often requires additional customization or external tools to achieve higher accuracy and deeper predictive insights.

Overall, while NetSuite provides a strong foundation, some areas require enhancement or supplementary solutions to fully support advanced analytics and planning needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

What problems is it solving?

Before NetSuite, our data was trapped in different systems that didn’t talk to each other. We were wasting hours manually moving information between spreadsheets, which led to human errors and outdated numbers.

How is it benefiting you?

It puts everything—finance, sales, and operations—into one place. For me, the biggest benefit is having a single, reliable source of truth. I can see real-time performance dashboards without waiting days for manual reports, which means we can make faster, smarter business decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Endless Solution for Finance professionals”
What do you like best about Vena?

Vena has no limits and you can build anything yWhat I like best about Vena is how effectively it combines the flexibility and familiarity of Excel with strong controls, workflow, and data integrity. It allows finance teams to maintain Excel-based models while adding version control, audit trails, approvals, and centralized data, which significantly improves collaboration and accuracy during budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The tight integration with financial systems also helps ensure consistency between actuals and plans, reducing manual work and reconciliation effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vena?

One of the main drawbacks of Vena is that, because it is heavily Excel‑based, performance can slow down with very large models or complex workbooks, especially during peak budgeting cycles. There can also be a learning curve for non‑finance users, as success in Vena still depends on solid Excel skills and understanding of the underlying model structure. Additionally, making structural changes (such as redesigning models or hierarchies) can require more setup time and coordination than more rigid, form‑based planning tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vena is solving several core planning and coordination challenges that finance teams typically face, and that has delivered clear, day‑to‑day benefits for us.

First, it significantly streamlines budgeting and forecasting cycles. We can run multiple iterations of the budget or forecast in a very short period of time, allowing us to quickly model different scenarios, respond to leadership questions, and incorporate new assumptions without starting from scratch each time. Everything lives in one centralized platform, which eliminates version confusion and reduces time spent reconciling files.

Second, Vena greatly improves cross‑department collaboration. Different departments can work simultaneously within the same system, follow structured workflows, and submit their inputs through controlled processes. This creates better accountability, clearer ownership, and faster turnaround, while still allowing Finance to maintain oversight, consistency, and data integrity.

Third, Vena solves the disconnect between workforce planning and operating expense planning. By linking headcount, compensation, and workforce assumptions directly to OPEX budgets, we gain a much clearer view of the true cost drivers of the organization. This alignment improves forecast accuracy, enables more meaningful variance analysis, and supports more informed decision‑making around hiring and resource allocation.

Overall, Vena allows us to plan faster, collaborate better, and connect financial drivers in a way that supports both operational and strategic decision‑making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Smooth Transition with Sage Intacct: Easy Interface, Fast Reconciliations, Great Integrations”
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

The interface makes everything easier. When we migrated to Sage, I was really worried I wouldn’t be able to understand how it works, but the layout and navigation made the transition much smoother. I could find what I needed quickly and move through the system with ease.

For reconciliations, it has improved the process a lot—especially for my accounts receivable reconciliations, which are usually a lot to manage. With a single journal entry, everything was cleared up, and matching bank transactions to the relevant accounts became much more straightforward.

It also integrates easily with JP Morgan bank and with Bill.com, including Spend and Expense and AP. I also appreciate that the reports I need are generated easily—literally just one click away. During setup, we were given practice accounts to review and learn from without the risk of making serious mistakes. Overall, I honestly believe moving to Sage Intacct was a good move for my company because it integrates well with almost all the applications we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

It has not yet been able to integrate smoothly with Dental inteligence which was recommended prior to migrating to Sage intacct. That the only complaint l really have with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before migrating to sage intacct l had to manually do Accounts Receivable reconciliations which was time consuming since they made up majority of my bank transactions. Now with sage l don't have to do them individuall l just have to upload one journal and everything will clear up. This has honestly time saving and have reduced my workload by a lot. “Streamlined Compliance with Powerful Audit Trails”
What do you like best about FloQast?

The audit trails and unified month-end checklists are my top picks. Every reconciliation action and attached file carries a timestamp, fully compliant with German financial audit standards. The dashboard displays live task progress, shared lists let our finance team comment directly on work items, cutting down repetitive emails and missed deadlines drastically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

Report customization options are too few, can’t adjust layouts to match local German audit forms. Bulk editing reconciliations runs sluggishly. It lacks native connection to our internal file server, so I manually upload all supporting documents monthly. Also, adjusting settings to meet local finance rules took lots of repeated edits during setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?

We previously handled all closing work via scattered Excel sheets. FloQast consolidates all closing procedures into one platform, unifies team task tracking and provides traceable audit materials. It drastically cuts audit preparation time, minimizes compliance risks and improves cross-team communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“QB Online Lets Me Work Anywhere, Anytime”
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

QB online is superior to desktop, because it is easy to work from anywhere. As long you know your login info, you don't have to be stuck on a desktop in an office somewhere. This has allowed to continue working during things like car repairs and just waiting in my car for events/meetings to start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

A couple of the downsides are that they no longer work with Melio because they have their own payment processing. I have three vendors that each month cannot be paid via QB online and I have to login to Melio separetley and process the payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QuickBooks Online solving and how is that benefiting you?

The one thing that QB online does is they have a really good payroll processing platform. All of the taxes are handled and I recently discovered that we can also use the same program for employee time tracking. At the time it seems to be included in the payroll pricing, but I am sure they will charge extra for it in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Data Orchestrator has also reduced our reliance on third-party integration tools by acting as a built-in hub for push/pull data flows. Workflow has made approvals and task handoffs much smoother across teams, and the recent NUX updates have made dashboards noticeably more intuitive to use. “Real-Time Data Sync Revolutionizes Financial Reporting”
What do you like best about LiveFlow?

The most impactful part of LiveFlow is the automated, real-time data sync. In the past, our financial reporting was always lagging. By the time we manually pulled reports from QuickBooks into Google Sheets, the data was already several days old. Especially when we're waiting for a third party team to reconcile our account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LiveFlow?

The initial setup of complex, custom-mapped reports can take a little bit of time. However, the LiveFlow support team is super responsive and helps bridge that gap quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LiveFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?

We struggled with accurate cash flow forecasting. Because our actuals were updated manually, our forecasts were often based on outdated assumptions.

LiveFlow solves this by keeping our actuals current. This has made forecasting so much easier because we can now see our real-time cash position and runway at a glance. It allows us to perform instant variance analysis and make strategic pivots based on what is happening now, rather than what happened last month. It has saved our finance team hours of spreadsheet gymnastics every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Rillet’s Rapid Feature Delivery and Automation Helped Us Scale Finance Without Headcount”
What do you like best about Rillet?

Most software vendors treat feature requests as low-priority backlog items, if they track them at all. With Rillet, about 95% of what we've flagged has made it to production, which has genuinely changed how we think about the product relationship. The automations, integrations, and AI capabilities have also let us scale the finance function without adding headcount, so the resources we're not spending on hiring are going back into the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rillet?

Rillet has reset what I consider normal for software, and now everything else in our stack feels slow by comparison. That's a great problem to have, even if it makes the rest of the tooling harder to be satisfied with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rillet solving and how is that benefiting you?

What used to require manual work or additional headcount now happens automatically, which has let us keep the team intentionally lean. “Scales with a growing distribution business”
What do you like best about Stok.ly - Inventory Management ERP with Built-In AI?

The multi-location inventory visibility and the warehouse stock app are the standout for us. Barcode scanning keeps our pick accuracy high and gets orders out the door quickly. The automation around purchasing and stock transfers saves real time, and having Shopify, courier and accounting integrations in one platform means we're not stitching tools together. As a distributor carrying several brands across more than one location, that single source of truth matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stok.ly - Inventory Management ERP with Built-In AI?

The initial setup takes some care. Getting sales channels and customer/delivery records configured the right way isn't always obvious at first, and a few things are easier to do directly in the UI than via import. It's worth investing the time to get it right early, as once it's set up correctly it runs reliably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We now have accurate multi-location stock, faster order processing for our wholesale and trade accounts, and far less manual admin across dispatch and purchasing. We evaluated platforms like Brightpearl and Orderwise and chose Stok.ly for the flexibility and the integrated approach. It has given us proper inventory control and automation as we've grown. “Fulcrum Aligns Teams with Clear, Visual Value Stream Mapping”
What do you like best about Fulcrum?

Fulcrum intuitively connects upstream and downstream, and it really gets everyone rowing in the same direction. It’s a visually based platform that clearly value stream maps a manufacturing operation. It also links the shop floor to the front office, giving real traction to ideas and improvements. The interface captures tribal knowledge and helps connect the team, so information and progress don’t get stuck in silos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fulcrum?

The invoicing feature needs more search options to make it easier to locate specific invoices, and it would also help to have a way to link invoices to packing lists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is helping scale our company by leveraging the knowledge of veterans and making that knowledge accessible. Fulcrum feels like a touchstone for developing future leaders in manufacturing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“SAP: A Complete Logistics Package with Powerful End-to-End Capabilities”
What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?

SAP is the complete package when it comes to logistics. Everything you can imagine doing, there is probably a place(called transaction) in SAP where you can do it. From stock management, to movement execution, to invoicing: it offers everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?

It is not necessarily a dislike but such a comprehensive program is hard to learn. There will be a steep learning curve for novices I've used it for close than a year and am still learning new things daily. Also, the servers are centralized, so sometimes you use access to the system and can't do anything about it. But the SAP team usually resolves those issues quickly. What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?

SAP is basically solving everything. It helps us keep track of how much stock we have in any of our plethora of locations. And I mean multiple times of stock. It helps us create accruals for the payable and receivable invoices and also keep track all the relevant payment specs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
