“Streamlined Reporting with Room for Improvement”
What do you like best about Workiva?

I use Workiva for SEC filing, reporting with W Data, and other minor entities. I like how Workiva keeps our version control in check and allows for commenting and workflow on shared documents. It also enables us to conduct SOX testing, perform markups, and handle sample selections and requests efficiently. I'm glad we did the initial setup ourselves because it was very educational, which made us more familiar with the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workiva?

Some areas that can be improved are markups, uploading support for audit and SOX testing. The sampling tool isn't as useful as I would like it to be, plus the request section and attaching things to spreadsheets can be a little finicky. The initial setup took much longer than I thought because we did it on our own without paying for a catered experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Workiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Clean UI, Reliable Performance, and Great Value”
What do you like best about Xero?

We like Xero because it combines a clean, intuitive UI / UX with strong performance, making finance operations easy for both finance and non-finance staff. Its integration ecosystem is an advantage for us, particularly the integration with Employment Hero for payroll and HR workflows, along with banking, expense management. Xero also offers strong value for money compared to larger ERP platforms, with lower implementation overhead and pricing that suits a growing SaaS business. The platform is reliable, easy to support through its large Australian accountant ecosystem, and increasingly strong in AI-driven automation, workflow automation, which aligns well with our focus on operational efficiency and scalable growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xero?

We would appreciate more customisation and reporting flexibility as we continue to scale, along with deeper automation and AI capabilities for more complex operational workflows and enterprise-level integrations such as Employment Hero. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Acumatica Delivers Flexibility and Scalability for Global Growth”
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I love that Acumatica is truly cloud-based, making accessibility seamless for our global teams. The generic inquiry (GI) feature is a game changer, allowing even non-technical users like me to build custom reports and dashboards easily. Its intuitive web interface makes onboarding new employees quick, and the scalability means we can grow without being handcuffed by the ERP system. The consumption-based pricing structure is also a huge plus, and the reliability has been outstanding compared to previous systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike, but the process of migrating from our old system was complex, especially consolidating customers from multiple databases. Integrating new acquisitions and handling multi-currency, multi-tenant setups required extra effort and some creative workarounds, but Acumatica’s flexibility helped us address these challenges. I’d also say that while AI features are promising, we’re still exploring their full potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scalability and flexibility are the biggest strengths for us. Because of features like attributes, we’ve been able to design the underlying data structure so it can live in both big and small buckets, depending on what we need. That makes it easy to add something like a brand attribute for a new product, and then have the data automatically flow throughout the data ecosystem we’ve created. “Datarails Streamlines Financial Reporting with Powerful Dashboards and Excel Integration”
What do you like best about Datarails?

We’ve had a great experience using Datarails for financial reporting and dashboard visibility. The platform has helped streamline reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis while making data much easier to present to leadership and school stakeholders.

One of the biggest benefits has been the ability to centralize financial information into user-friendly dashboards that improve visibility into cash flow, budget variances, and overall financial performance. The Excel integration is especially valuable because it allows our team to continue working within familiar spreadsheets while gaining the benefits of automation and live reporting.

Datarails has also improved efficiency with board reporting and financial presentations by reducing manual preparation time and providing cleaner, more professional reporting outputs.

Overall, it has been a very useful tool for improving financial transparency, organization, and decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Datarails?

Absolutely nothing! Honestly, we have not experienced any major challenges with Datarails. The platform has been very helpful for financial reporting, dashboard visibility, and improving overall efficiency for our team. The integration with Excel and the ability to customize reporting has made the process smooth and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Datarails solving and how is that benefiting you?

Datarails has helped solve a lot of the inefficiencies that come with manual financial reporting and spreadsheet management. Before using the platform, a large amount of time was spent manually updating reports, consolidating data, and preparing dashboards.

With Datarails, much of that process is automated, which has significantly improved efficiency and reduced manual input and the risk of human error. The dashboard visibility has also been a huge benefit because it allows leadership and stakeholders to quickly review financial performance, variances, cash flow, and budget information in a much more organized and user-friendly way.

Overall, it has helped save time, improve reporting accuracy, and provide faster access to meaningful financial data for decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Endless Solution for Finance professionals”
What do you like best about Vena?

Vena has no limits and you can build anything yWhat I like best about Vena is how effectively it combines the flexibility and familiarity of Excel with strong controls, workflow, and data integrity. It allows finance teams to maintain Excel-based models while adding version control, audit trails, approvals, and centralized data, which significantly improves collaboration and accuracy during budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The tight integration with financial systems also helps ensure consistency between actuals and plans, reducing manual work and reconciliation effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vena?

One of the main drawbacks of Vena is that, because it is heavily Excel‑based, performance can slow down with very large models or complex workbooks, especially during peak budgeting cycles. There can also be a learning curve for non‑finance users, as success in Vena still depends on solid Excel skills and understanding of the underlying model structure. Additionally, making structural changes (such as redesigning models or hierarchies) can require more setup time and coordination than more rigid, form‑based planning tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vena is solving several core planning and coordination challenges that finance teams typically face, and that has delivered clear, day‑to‑day benefits for us.

First, it significantly streamlines budgeting and forecasting cycles. We can run multiple iterations of the budget or forecast in a very short period of time, allowing us to quickly model different scenarios, respond to leadership questions, and incorporate new assumptions without starting from scratch each time. Everything lives in one centralized platform, which eliminates version confusion and reduces time spent reconciling files.

Second, Vena greatly improves cross‑department collaboration. Different departments can work simultaneously within the same system, follow structured workflows, and submit their inputs through controlled processes. This creates better accountability, clearer ownership, and faster turnaround, while still allowing Finance to maintain oversight, consistency, and data integrity.

Third, Vena solves the disconnect between workforce planning and operating expense planning. By linking headcount, compensation, and workforce assumptions directly to OPEX budgets, we gain a much clearer view of the true cost drivers of the organization. This alignment improves forecast accuracy, enables more meaningful variance analysis, and supports more informed decision‑making around hiring and resource allocation.

Overall, Vena allows us to plan faster, collaborate better, and connect financial drivers in a way that supports both operational and strategic decision‑making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“AI Invoice Uploading and an Easy UI Make Sage Intacct a Win”
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

My favorite features of Sage Intacct are the AI invoice uploading feature and access to Sage Community. I like that uploading invoices via AI removes a lot of the data entry piece, and Community is helpful for when I have to assist members of my organization with support tickets. The software performs very well, and the overall user interface is easy to understand, even for a lay person without accounting knowledge. We have multiple departments across the organization that must use the software, so I especially appreciate the accessibility and functionality of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

The error messages aren't the most helpful. I would prefer there be a more drilled down explanation of certain errors, perhaps with links to resources within Community explaining them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have trimmed a lot of time out of our AP data entry as it relates to invoice entry thanks to AI. We are also in the process of using some of the reporting and dashboard features to enable outside departments to access their financial data in real time. These are functions that wouldn't have been possible using our previous software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Great Reporting and Scalable POs, but POS Integrations and Custom Reports Need Work”
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite has great reporting, especially for sales by item, transactions, inventory management, YOY item sales, and sales by customer. We use a lot of this information to help strategize for future-year sales and to support demand planning for our stores. The PO system is very user-friendly, and the overall system is highly customizable through custom reporting and saved searches. The platform is also scalable and well suited for growing businesses, and it can be tailored to meet the needs of different-size businesses through its many integrations and add-ons. They also offer live events with knowledgeable industry leaders, which can be invaluable depending on the topic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

One issue is that it doesn’t connect with POS systems like Square or Shopify unless you purchase additional software, which defeats the purpose—especially when we’re already paying a high price for multiple systems. At the moment, we export our sales from Shopify and Square, then export and import our inventory from NetSuite back into Shopify and Square. Overall, that workflow is tedious and time-consuming.

The custom reporting options are great, but I wish there were a more user-friendly way to build, organize, and manage those reports. SuiteAnswers can be helpful, but if you don’t already have prior knowledge of how something works in NetSuite, it can be difficult to navigate and learn. The system can also run very slowly when generating reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having everything in one place on a single platform—inventory management, sales, reporting, accounting, and purchasing management—makes things much easier. I also like the real-time dashboards for sales, inventory, probability, and operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Real-Time Data Sync Revolutionizes Financial Reporting”
What do you like best about LiveFlow?

The most impactful part of LiveFlow is the automated, real-time data sync. In the past, our financial reporting was always lagging. By the time we manually pulled reports from QuickBooks into Google Sheets, the data was already several days old. Especially when we're waiting for a third party team to reconcile our account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LiveFlow?

The initial setup of complex, custom-mapped reports can take a little bit of time. However, the LiveFlow support team is super responsive and helps bridge that gap quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LiveFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?

We struggled with accurate cash flow forecasting. Because our actuals were updated manually, our forecasts were often based on outdated assumptions.

LiveFlow solves this by keeping our actuals current. This has made forecasting so much easier because we can now see our real-time cash position and runway at a glance. It allows us to perform instant variance analysis and make strategic pivots based on what is happening now, rather than what happened last month. It has saved our finance team hours of spreadsheet gymnastics every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Real-Time, Flexible Modeling That Speeds Up Decision-Making”
What do you like best about Anaplan?

What I like most about Anaplan is how powerful it is at connecting data across the business in real time. Once a model is built the right way, you can actually trust what you’re looking at and make decisions quickly instead of chasing numbers in spreadsheets. I also really value the flexibility—whether it’s modeling financials, forecasts, or operational scenarios, you can adapt the platform to fit the problem instead of forcing the problem to fit a tool. Finally, there’s a strong sense of ownership as a builder; when something clicks and stakeholders immediately see the value, it’s very satisfying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anaplan?

What I dislike about Anaplan is that some things still feel harder than they should be, especially when trying to understand or navigate someone else’s model. Tracing references, following dependencies, and answering “what will this impact?” can be time‑consuming and fairly manual. There’s also a learning curve for new users—both builders and end users—which means a lot depends on how well the model was originally designed and documented. When models aren’t built cleanly, small changes can take longer than expected to validate and explain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Anaplan solving and how is that benefiting you?

Anaplan is solving the problem of disconnected planning and decision‑making. Instead of working in silos or relying on static spreadsheets, it provides a single place where financial, operational, and strategic plans stay connected and update in real time. That benefits me because I spend far less time reconciling numbers and more time actually analyzing scenarios and answering “what if” questions. It also makes conversations with stakeholders more productive—everyone is looking at the same data, so decisions are faster and more confident. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before Aleph, I had to prepare our management reports using several colossal Excel files, troubleshoot errors caused by external links, and hunt down tips and tricks to make my pivot tables display data at the most difficult intersections of our reporting dimensions. With Aleph, I can replace all of that with a few reporting templates in manageable file sizes, and I can delegate the work to colleagues with intermediate Excel skills. Aleph is THAT easy to use. “Easy to learn, Time-Saving Integrations, and Rock-Solid Reliability”
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

Accessibility from mobile devices, easy excel sheet upload for bulk adding bills, and the very user-friendly UI are my favorite features. Its the easiest one to train inexperienced staff on by far.

It also securely integrates with our bank feeds for real-time information, our sales channels (Shopify, Amazon, eBay) to import transactions, and as of recently even our shipping provider, so that all bills and bill payments are automatically synced. Saves me SO much time!

in 5 years I don't recall any performance problems or outages, and it runs smoothly even on my dated office PC.

The deal we got from our sales rep was great (received 50% off the first 3 years), he helped with all the setup and the silliest of questions we had from our move as we had switched to QuickBooks Online from QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, and was available for questions even many months later, when we were looking to find a new Warehouse Management Software with integration into QBO.

They constantly seem to add and update new features - recently introducing AI generated messages for invoices and reminders, making things a little more customized for our clients, rather than the generic "Hello, here's your invoice." blurb.

Excited to see what the future holds! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

One of our company files is very large because we imported 4+ years of detailed data from QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. As a result, I’m unable to open that company file from my mobile device, which prevents me from using features like importing receipts by taking a picture of them or accessing the file on the go.

It would be great if there were a lite version that still allowed access to the basic functions of the company file, even when the full file is too large to open on mobile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QuickBooks Online solving and how is that benefiting you?

We previously used QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, which had to be installed on a remote desktop so all of our staff could access it at the same time.

With QuickBooks Online, staff can work not only from home but also on their personal devices, without needing remote desktop access or any special installation. On top of that, the more modern features, like integrations with several services we already use, have improved our workflow and saved us a lot of time, which has been a nice treat. I’m very pleased with Stock.ly overall. We moved from a very out-of-date system last year, and as soon as we implemented Stock.ly, it started streamlining the way our business operates. It brought our warehouse and brick-and-mortar shop together and helped squash many of the problems we’d been dealing with before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Fulcrum Aligns Teams with Clear, Visual Value Stream Mapping”
What do you like best about Fulcrum?

Fulcrum intuitively connects upstream and downstream, and it really gets everyone rowing in the same direction. It’s a visually based platform that clearly value stream maps a manufacturing operation. It also links the shop floor to the front office, giving real traction to ideas and improvements. The interface captures tribal knowledge and helps connect the team, so information and progress don’t get stuck in silos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fulcrum?

The invoicing feature needs more search options to make it easier to locate specific invoices, and it would also help to have a way to link invoices to packing lists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is helping scale our company by leveraging the knowledge of veterans and making that knowledge accessible. Fulcrum feels like a touchstone for developing future leaders in manufacturing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Xorosoft: A True ERP Partner with Powerful, Flexible Reporting”
What do you like best about XoroERP?

Xorosoft is our source of truth for order processing, inventory, and accounting. What stands out most is the partnership - we're in a super growth phase and they consistently take the time to listen, scope our integration plans with thoughtful questions, and make sure we're 100% satisfied with the result. The reporting is the other big win - we can slice and dice data however we need. The value is also real - compared to the bigger ERP companies, Xorosoft offers a lot for what you pay. They're flexible, they listen, and they grow alongside us. That's rare in an ERP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about XoroERP?

A few minor things. It's best on desktop - we've found it tough to maneuver on iPad and haven't even attempted phone yet, so if your team works on the go, that's something to know upfront. The reporting is plentiful, but there's a learning curve to figure out which reports actually serve your business best. And like most ERPs, learning which fields work for your workflow takes some trial and error - though there are plenty of custom field options to get you where you need to go.go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is XoroERP solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were really struggling with inventory tracking - specifically, getting visibility into serial numbers on the outbound side with our 3PL. We shared the struggle with Xorosoft and they scoped and built out a solution with us. Now we have real systems in place to track inventory out in the world, which means we can service our customers faster and with more accuracy. As we scale, that kind of visibility is everything. “SAP S/4HANA Cloud: Instant Processing, Centralized Data, and Seamless Integration”
What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?

The thing I like most about SAP S/4HANA Cloud is its incredible processing power and how it centralizes everything. In my daily work at the customer service department, I need to jump between customer profiles, order history, and real-time stock levels. The system handles these massive data sets instantly, which is vital when a customer is waiting on the phone.

I also appreciate the integration capabilities; the fact that it connects our e-commerce platform with the physical warehouse logistics means the information I see is always up-to-date. Compared to older ERP systems, the web-based Fiori interface (which we use through our internal tool) is much more intuitive, allowing for faster navigation through different 'tiles' or modules without losing track of the main task. It makes complex multi-step processes, like international returns or gift card reconciliations, much more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?

The main downside is the steep learning curve during the Onboarding phase. Because the system is incredibly vast and handles complex global data, it can be overwhelming for new team members in the customer service hub to master every module. The initial training requires a significant time investment.

Additionally, from a Pricing/ROI perspective, while the software is powerful, it requires a very stable and high-speed internet connection to maintain peak Performance. During high-traffic events like Black Friday, we sometimes experience slight latency in cloud synchronization between the warehouse and our front-end interface. I would also like to see more intuitive AI/Intelligence shortcuts for common repetitive tasks to further reduce our average handling time, as some manual steps in the refund process still feel a bit legacy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?

The primary problem SAP S/4HANA Cloud solves for us is data fragmentation across our global retail operations. Before, tracking a complex customer journey—from an online order to a store return in a different country—was manual and prone to errors. Now, it centralizes everything in one source of truth.

The main benefit is the drastic reduction in our 'Average Handling Time' (AHT). I can instantly verify stock availability in real-time and process refunds or replacements with confidence that the financial and inventory data is accurate. It has transformed our customer service from being reactive to proactive, as we can identify shipping bottlenecks before the customer even calls us. This level of AI/Intelligence and Integration ensures that we maintain high customer satisfaction even during high-pressure seasons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
