I really appreciate Workiva's collaboration features. These features are exceptional because they allow multiple people to work on the same document simultaneously without disrupting each other's workflow, which significantly enhances teamwork and productivity. I wish there was an easier way to test key reports. Currently, I have a key reports listing under "documents" in my workspace, but to test them, I have to add them as key controls which is really inefficient and does not provide for easy tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that you do not get all features of Workiva with the basic package that QH has. We do not have W-Data and thus the Workiva Sync is really a glorified copy + paste tool. I also hate that system functionalities are abridged simply because we did not buy the W-Data package - for example, the Find + Replace feature is a one-by-one adjustment rather than being able to select a full page or sheet and have it find / replace everything. Generally, the platform is quick to implement and add depending on the features selected to use (data connections may take more time). It is easy to get assistance when there are questions as each Company is assigned a customer success manager that they can reach out directly to, as well as 24/7 other customer support access. It is a more expensive platform to use than other reporting solutions. While the customer success teams can be a great source of information and assistance, they are limited on what they can handle, and they tend to be very sales oriented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Workiva has a relatively intuitive user interface that allows quick adoption and easy usage overall. Particularly when drafting documents etc., it really functions like MS Word. Most documents can be created outside of Workiva and then uploaded into their platform, with only final changes usually needed.

However, one of Workiva's greatest aspects is that they have very responsive and helpful 24-hour customer service. They are always pleasant and quick to provide assistance that resolves any technical or adoption issues. They always promptly follow up with emails. Right now my head is pounding but at least this program shows me the exact team member who is causing a delay in closing the books without me needing to send them an email. I find it frustrating that I have to contact a salesperson to obtain a quote price for this product. Also, I don't like that I cannot change the options myself and I need to contact an administrator to do it and it wastes both of our time since I only needed to make a small adjustment to a checklist. It's a struggle as executives hesitate to get involved, but they usually love the system once we finally get them in it! The other downside I can think of is if internet is not working, you are not able to work in the software.
