What do you like best about SOCi?

It’s not the easiest platform to learn at first. There’s a lot going on in the dashboard, and it can feel overwhelming if you’re new.

What problems is SOCi solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the biggest problems SOCi has helped solve for me is the chaos of managing multiple locations and platforms. Before SOCi, we were constantly jumping between different tools — logging into separate social media accounts, monitoring reviews manually, and trying to keep up with inconsistent branding across locations. It was honestly exhausting and really inefficient.

SOCi has centralized everything. I can now manage all our social media posts, respond to reviews, update listings, and track performance — all in one place. It’s cut down a ton of time and made it way easier to keep our messaging consistent while still allowing for location-specific customization.

The review management part has also been a game changer. Instead of digging through each platform separately to respond to feedback, SOCi pulls it all into one dashboard. That means we can reply faster, catch trends, and just stay more connected to what customers are actually saying about us.

On top of that, the analytics and reporting features give me real data to work with, which helps with decision-making. I’m not just guessing what’s working anymore — I can see it.

How much time it saves me. I manage a lot of social content across multiple platforms, so having everything in one place makes my life so much easier. Honestly, my biggest complaint is that tagging people or companies across different platforms doesn't always work consistently, so I usually end up double-checking everything before it goes live. I really love that i have an inbox (smart) that gathers all my clients' messages and comments into one place as opposed to having to bounce around 5 different apps on my phone while my battery dies. It will also tell you the best times to send your posts to each platform and i notice a huge difference in engagement when I actually listen to those recommendations vs. sending them at random. Instagram integration seems to be half-baked... can't respond to comments/posts without leaving the app and going directly to instagram, which somewhat defeats the purpose. And the annoying part... trying to get out of the contract is difficult... auto-renewal... good luck canceling... without emailing back and fourth at least 3 times. What do you like best about Birdeye?

I've been using Birdeye for about five years now, and it has truly helped shape our customer service while making our lives so much easier. It's an indispensable tool for our daily business operations, one we didn't even know we needed until we had it, and I still haven't used it to 100% of its capabilities. One of the biggest benefits for me is privacy. Birdeye lets me maintain excellent client relations and keep communication lines wide open without ever having to give out my personal cell phone number. It has completely transformed my sales process, because I can collect payments securely through the platform anytime and anywhere, so I'm able to lock in a sale no matter where I am. Even when our power goes out at work and we can't use the CC machine, this has saved me many times. Remote payment taking is hands down the best option for me. I also really like being able to navigate clients directly through our website while texting with them, guiding them through pages and closing the sale right then, which has been huge for my closing rates. The mental separation is helpful too, since if I choose to be off or on vacation, a client can still reach out and someone else can work with them. I've had too many times where I missed a personal text or call, and now someone can schedule a delivery or answer a quick question while I'm not 100% checked in. It helps with customers who like to text instead of calling, so they can send issues, questions, and pictures and know it'll go through. I've been on vacation the last two weeks, my clients asked for ETA updates, someone jumped in to answer them, and I added an internal note to thank that person, and the client still thinks it's me. It's been very helpful to see what's been asked and done at the end of the day. It also holds all the old history for the client and full conversations, and questions from our website get directed to us as the store. We switched from Podium mainly because of pricing. Other than being new, the setup was simple. If you want an elevated way to work your clients while remote, I can't recommend Birdeye enough, and I'd rate it a 10 out of 10 to recommend. What do you dislike about Birdeye?

{"Only issue that i have is sometime the invoice number glitches, and you have to open the number options between each number. The invoice number every time i have to type a number on the app, it make you change from keyboard to number pad between each and every number.","I sometimes don't like that the whole store keeps seeing the sale while I'm working with the client.","I also don't like people seeing my whole conversation with the client, it can get personal sometimes.","The app/payment can be down so we can't accept payments on the app; I have to log in to the web instead.","Onboarding was hectic — newer people and older people that aren't tech savvy were having a hard time. What do you like best about Semrush?

The biggest thing I like about Semrush is its ability to generate data so fast. Doing it by hand would take so many hours, but now I just rely on this technology to find new things. So far it's been unmatched, no other software can synthesize so much data. There are so many places to look like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and you'd have to do analysis with your own hands one by one, so Semrush is a big thing for me. I use it as my third analytical tool that kind of closes the loop. I use Claude with MCP and Semrush, which lets me monitor things much easier. Semrush is that little cap I need to fill to make sure things are connecting. Its reputation played a big part in our decision since so many companies use it, and it has the ability to cater to enterprise level companies, which we were looking for. We wanted something holistic that could analyze our whole web and make sure we're in line with other industry websites where we operate. The initial setup was quite straightforward, I just used any of their products, typed in my domain, and it got all the data. It was quite simple, and I can also do competitor analysis. The UI is pretty classic, not some new white coat look, so it's kind of easy to navigate because you've seen things like that before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Semrush?

I find the Semrush apps marketplace a bit underwhelming. There are many tools, but they are spread across different subscriptions., It's hard to keep track of everything., If you wanna get AI rankings, you have to buy different subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Semrush to track our rankings, authority score, and see how our pages are performing. The biggest thing is it generates data so fast, instead of doing analysis by hand one by one across Google Analytics and Search Console. It's my third tool that closes the loop. I like Zoho Social the most for its ability to integrate with all social media platforms, such as Threads, Google My Business, Instagram, TikTok, and Meta. It easily accommodates all the posting restrictions across these platforms, whether it requires a media file for Instagram and TikTok or no media for Threads and Facebook. This flexibility really stands out to me. Also, I find the scheduling feature very helpful as it allows me to schedule posts in advance and automatically post them on all of my media platforms, so I don't have to be on my computer all the time. Another limitation is the cap on the number of posts included in the plan. For teams managing several brands or accounts, this limit can be restrictive and may require additional planning or upgrades.

What do you like best about StoryChief?

First of all, the product is a great product. The very best I have found for this type of program. As well as having a great product, the customer service is second to none. I purchase several years ago and for some unknown reason I deleted the account. I must have been on drugs, but I never used drugs. When I got in touch with Story Chief support and gave them a copy of my receipt, they immediately sent me a link to register again. The only slight question I have, is the ability to use it to the fullest given that I am not a computer savvy person. What do you like best about NiceJob?

I use NiceJob as a marketing agency for our local service clients. My favorite part about NiceJob is the scalability of the tool in review generation solutions for our clients. We don't need to purchase multiple licenses at one time and then hope to sell the review generation services to clients. What do you dislike about NiceJob?

I wish there were more integrations. There seems to be a lot of that for other service industries. We're in the landscaping and lawn care industry and the only two real native integrations we have are with Jobber and Quickbooks. We can use Zapier to connect it to whatever we need, but most lawn care and landscaping CRMs don't even have webhook capabilities which makes NiceJob harder to use in this industry if Quickbooks or Jobber isn't being used. NiceJob helps us productize and deliver an local SEO service that is usually left up to the client which is getting reviews. We can consult with our clients every day on the fact they should be asking for reviews, but when we have something tangible we can implement and connect to their systems so we don't need to do the consulting, it makes it that much easier for us to help them help themselves. What I like best about Cloud Campaign is how agency-friendly and efficient it is without feeling overly complicated. I originally used it in an agency setting to manage multiple client accounts, approvals, scheduling, and reporting, and now I use it as a freelancer plan client managing social media for a commercial construction company. The platform makes it easy to organize content, plan ahead, streamline approvals, and keep social media management from becoming chaotic.

As someone who has used the platform in an agency setting and now as a freelancer managing social media for a commercial construction company, it helps me stay ahead of content deadlines, maintain a consistent posting schedule, and reduce the back-and-forth that often comes with approvals and revisions.

The biggest benefit is efficiency. Cloud Campaign gives me a centralized workflow for planning, scheduling, and managing content across platforms, which saves time and helps me deliver a more professional, reliable social media experience. What do you like best about Social Places?

I really appreciate the ease of the interface in Social Places. It's easy to navigate and isn't complex to use. I also find it very convenient for scheduling content, as I'm able to quickly schedule and get approval on posts without having to do one for each store, which is great when multiple stores are getting the same content.
