I love that Canva has many templates that you can use or modify. Very often, I'm able to get an idea and find a template that's close to what I want, allowing me to modify it from there. If I know exactly what I want, I go straight to a blank canvas and work from there, adding the items I need. Another thing that's very helpful is the ability to upload my own photos and graphics to include in the material I produce on Canva.
