I like how VEED makes it very easy to create a professional video for my social media pages. I'm trained in advanced software like Adobe Premiere, but I often find myself just using VEED because of its ease of use and great-looking editing power. I appreciate that its features are designed in a way that lets me create a professional result in such a quick amount of time. Although I've used other tools to fix poor video or audio quality, VEED's audio cleanup assistant works great a lot. I also found the initial setup to be super easy. Every now and then I've run into some lag or glitches that can create weird effects in my videos, but they have been rare. Although VEED's audio cleanup assistant works great a lot, I wish there were a way to choose how much of the audio processing was applied. Sometimes I don't want 100% of the clean audio; I only want 50% so that I can keep some of the natural audio sound and still clean it up a bit. The lack of that feature has made me edit audio in Premiere first before doing subtitles/graphics in VEED. While VEED has been a powerful tool for our content creation, there are a few areas where it could improve. As projects become more complex, the platform can occasionally feel limited compared to more advanced editing software. Fine-tuning precise timing, layering multiple elements, or managing longer-form videos can sometimes require a bit more work than expected.

There are also moments where performance can slow down, especially when working with multiple scenes, high-resolution assets, or longer timelines. This doesn’t happen constantly, but when it does, it can interrupt the creative flow.

One area that could definitely be improved is error handling. When issues occur, the platform sometimes provides generic error codes that don’t clearly explain what went wrong or how to fix it. More descriptive, actionable error messages would make troubleshooting much faster and reduce frustration during the editing process.

Additionally, while the simplicity of the platform is one of its strengths, it can also mean fewer advanced controls for users who want deeper customization. Certain effects, transitions, or detailed adjustments aren’t as flexible as what you might find in more robust editing tools.

I use VEED to caption videos and edit them for social media. I like the easy captioning of videos with great style, and the fast exporting for social media content. I appreciate that it has integrated AI for image and video creation, and I love how it can recognize many languages for captioning. This gives me a window and connection to new models that I wouldn't discover on my own, but since they are available directly on the platform, it makes them easy for me to use. I love the magic cut where it picks your best take because it saves on editing time massively. I also love the voice clearing feature which makes videos that previously would have been unusable due to distorted sound actually usable. The ease of use and how much time VEED actually saves me versus doing everything manually is fantastic. I think it's pretty cool that it has the background expansion feature as well. Sometimes when I have a video that's not just one video but two or three clips, I'm not always clear on how to edit them together. When I group them, the AI options like magic cut disappear. If I don't group them, I have to apply the options individually to each video, and randomly, the video won't let me apply the options, which is pretty annoying.
