The thing I love most about VEED is how easy it is to navigate. The second feature I really like is the range of options available to create quality, professional videos, whether with AI or without AI (using your own media). These are add-ons to my earlier review. Since my last review, VEED has shipped a lot—like Fabric 1.0, Gen-AI Studio, AI Playground, AI Background Expand, AI Transitions, and more. I’ve used all of these new tools and found that they help a lot when it comes to creating amazing videos.

I use VEED mainly for converting audio files into video format with subtitles, trimming audio, adding effects and filters, and editing videos for various social media and app posts. VEED offers the easiest way to trim audio and video files, with the best in market for accurate subtitle generation. I use VEED to caption videos and edit them for social media. I like the easy captioning of videos with great style, and the fast exporting for social media content. I appreciate that it has integrated AI for image and video creation, and I love how it can recognize many languages for captioning. This gives me a window and connection to new models that I wouldn't discover on my own, but since they are available directly on the platform, it makes them easy for me to use. I love the magic cut where it picks your best take because it saves on editing time massively. I also love the voice clearing feature which makes videos that previously would have been unusable due to distorted sound actually usable. The ease of use and how much time VEED actually saves me versus doing everything manually is fantastic. I think it's pretty cool that it has the background expansion feature as well. Sometimes when I have a video that's not just one video but two or three clips, I'm not always clear on how to edit them together. When I group them, the AI options like magic cut disappear. If I don't group them, I have to apply the options individually to each video, and randomly, the video won't let me apply the options, which is pretty annoying. I love how user-friendly VEED is. It's really easy to record videos, add subtitles, transcribe, translate, and publish them in high quality. VEED has been really helpful for our office when it comes to creating accessible content for our online platforms. We want to be as accessible as possible, and that means adding subtitles to videos so all viewers can interact with our content. The software is straightforward, and we often don’t have to make many corrections because it does a good job processing the audio. The designs are also easy to implement, and we don’t have to make a lot of choices or decisions for everything to look as good as it can. It’s been easy for our whole office to use the account and send things to one another.

The initial processing isn’t too slow. Uploading the video and then transcribing works well, but the export process and the page lagging can really throw things off. It makes it harder to get the edits right, and the final result ends up sounding slightly off from what we had done. I really don’t like the way they charge for the Pro plan, which cost me R$ 89, I could add subtitles with translation for 20 minutes. When those 20 minutes end, the next option is to buy the same Pro subscription, but on a yearly plan.

The problem is that I won’t have this job for a whole year, and with the annual subscription I would get 4 hours of the tool. Can you see how absurd that is? I don’t want 4 hours; I just need 30 more minutes.
