What do you like best about Textedly?

Everything is put together well to make it easier to text your employees. It's all step-by-step. And I like that there is no guessing. Then we can check to see if folks GOT the text. The follow-through is crucial to me. It lets me know that the message is received and we can at least know they were reminded even if they fail to show up for their training. Our employees depend on getting their texts for company information and training events. I really didn't think they would! So it's a big win for us all the way around. What do you dislike about Textedly?

When employees leave our company, we cannot delete them from the database. If they come back, we can't re-activate them. They have to join on their own and that is just not a priority for them until they miss something important. What do you like best about Textedly?

It's incredibly easy to use and implement! I love the reporting capabilities, the messaging, the AI assistance with writing a message. What isn't there to love about the platform. What do you dislike about Textedly?

There is only 1 "downfall" we have come across and that's the ease of our customers knowing how to opt back in to messages. When someone opts out while it does inform them of the "1st step" in opting back in (sending a message of unstop or start), it does not instruct them on the 2nd part of the process (sending a 2nd text of the company keyword). We need to reach out to customer outside of textedly to instruct them of this. I wish we could customize the opt out reply so that it could include that additional step. "Simplifies Group Texting with Excel Integration"
What do you like best about Textedly?

I like the ability to sign on in one place and handle everything by computer. The easy computer access and fairly simple interface allow us to quickly create and send group messages. I also appreciate the ease of using Excel lists to set up our texting group, which is great because our patient list is on Excel. We didn't see any advantages from other texting services that would make us switch from Textedly. The initial setup was easy too, with help from a representative who walked us through. What do you dislike about Textedly?

The ability to have multiple users is sometimes an issue. Although there are 'teammates', it is not the same as having another user when the main person is out for one reason or another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Textedly?

I appreciate Textedly's very easy-to-understand interface once I got used to it. This simplicity helps my nonprofit organization efficiently manage communication with around 1,200 members of our faith-based community. It allows us to contact our council members quickly, facilitating sign-ups through platforms like Sign Up Genius, and effectively distributing posters, event details, and emergency information. Additionally, the setup process was quite straightforward, as we were able to transfer a list of names and numbers from our database, although some hurdles were present due to home phone numbers not working for texting. The customer service was commendable, providing helpful assistance throughout the setup process. Overall, we've been using Textedly for three to four years and have been very happy with it, giving it a high satisfaction rating of about nine, indicating I would likely recommend it to others. "Texting Volunteers Made Easy and Efficient"
What do you like best about Textedly?

I love the convenience of being able to text our volunteers as opposed to having to call or e-mail. I get a much more immediate response when texting. My volunteers also love the convenience of being able to text as well. Customer support is very easy with the chat option as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

It seems to be very easy for my volunteers to accidently subscribe and we have to walk them through resubscribing. I also experience glitches and end up sending the same message multiple times. I will also kick me out sometimes and I have to log back in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Textedly?

The tech-support is top notch, and they are always quick to respond. Also, I love that you can design text messages that include images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

My organization holds multiple events throughout the year, and I would like to be able to update phone numbers in bulk batches with new tags, so I can send messages to the appropriate groups. However, Textedly does not let you do that and unless you are going to go one by one on each account, you must upload the individual again with a new tag. So, I have some numbers in there 4 or 5 times because they are a part of 4 or 5 groups.

A bulk update feature like Mailchimp has would be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Overcomplicated and Misleading Setup"
What do you like best about Textedly?

I like that Textedly supposedly has the ability to mass message groups easily. It prevents me from having to individually text people and just send one message at large. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

They make it seem much more simple than it actually is. After paying for a plan, there were several additional hoops to jump through and fees to pay that were not up front in the free trial. I still am not yet able to send messages, which is the entire reason I bought the plan. I made a mistake when paying and paid for an annual subscription instead of a monthly one. I contacted them to switch to month by month, but they refused to let me switch or issue a refund. They show that you can upload contacts as a list instead of individually, but I had to get approved to do so. Sending messages requires registration and applications that need approval. They make it seem like you can immediately start using their platform after upgrading, but that's not the case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Saves Time, Simplifies Patient Communication"
What do you like best about Textedly?

I love how Textedly saves me so much time at work. It's a huge time-saving tool that takes away the time-consuming task of calling each patient and allows me to complete other tasks in the office. I enjoy the ease of composing text messages with Textedly, where I can customize texts for a group of patients or send a text to a single patient. I would like to be able to save previously sent text messages so that I don't have to retype them every day I send out a text. I send the same text 3 times a week reminding patients of their appointments, it'd be great to just choose the message I want to send like I choose the list of patients! "Convenient Scheduling, Needs Flexible Billing"
What do you like best about Textedly?

I use Textedly to send out weekly prayer requests, and I love how it allows me to send them quickly and all at once. The scheduling feature is super convenient for me because I can plan ahead for the entire week, setting the exact date and time so that they land when I want. The texting back feature is also very handy since I can easily chat with people. Overall, Textedly just makes these tasks easy for me, and the basic plan is sufficient because I don't communicate with tons of people. The initial setup of Textedly was quite easy too. What do you dislike about Textedly?

The monthly subscription isn't the most convenient. I wish I could use texting credits without having to pay for the subscription. It would be great to have an option that's not just a subscription, but that I could pay for the credits when I need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Textedly?

After working with multiple CSR representatives, I have found each one to be extremely helpful. Additionally, the blasts are always deployed on schedule. I work at an ad agency, and we deploy blasts on behalf of our clients so the setup of those accounts can be complex. The reps always are willing to get on the phone and work through any roadblocks. What do you dislike about Textedly?

Overall, I haven't encountered any major problems. However, the frequent automated emails asking whether I would recommend Textedly to a friend can get a bit tiresome after a while.
