When originally purchasing, you are given credits and purchase a certain amount of credits per month. When I was originally creating my first text, I wasn't aware that in order to send on message, its based on per character used and eats your credits so quickly. I have about 251 text subscribers, so I didn't think I would need so many credits, but I felt it was a little misleading, I had to purchase more credits and it was a little discouraging. Textedly customer service is probably the top reason I still use it. The credit system is affordable, and they have many options for different businesses. There used to be no way to shorten links, but I can see that this feature has now been added. That said, I find the process for uploading contacts annoying, and the whole “keywords” part is frustrating too—though that may just be because I don’t really understand why I need to use it. I love how easy it is to compose and send a message! There aren't a lot of steps to take and the things you have to complete to send a message are all on the same screen. Practically no matter which page you're on you always have your current message count in view so there's no question on what's available to use. If you need more messages for the month there's a clear area to upgrade or simply buy what you need for the time being. The platform is easy to navigate and train someone else to use. If there's anything we need help with, there's always a customer support bubble at the bottom right of the screen to reach out and ask questions. I'm not sure if this is specific to Textedly or not, but the only "dislike" would be how emojis increase the message count. If emojis could be equal to or even a tiny bit above regular text that would be great and I would use them more often. I'd love to use emojis but something as simple as adding eyes to 2 sentences changes the message count from 2-4. As someone that's new to text marketing I'm not ready to spend a lot on messages monthly but I would need to heavily consider it if I want to use emojis on a regular basis. I was in a bind looking for a texting solution. I found textedly with Google and figured I would give them a try. It’s so easy to use and their customer support is top notch. Nicole called me and helped walk me through understanding how to use everything and even called me the next day to check in and make sure I was still good. Paige through the live chat was also incredibly helpful answering any questions I had as I was learning how to use everything. Their support is top tier as well as the ease of use of the program. So far, I don’t like that I can’t change the labels on the dynamic fields. Being an appointment call center, I have to use the fields for other things and try to remember what is what. That is a major challenge for appointment reminders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the convenience and accessibility of Textedly, which makes it easy to use and manage right at my fingertips. The ability to send messages to the masses is a big plus for me. I also appreciate the immediate response from tech support, which is really helpful. Using templates for storing messages is something I enjoy, even though I haven't mastered the automation part yet. I think the template feature on Textedly could be improved. Right now, after storing a message template, I have to manually copy it over to the message dashboard to send it. It would be great to have a feature that allows me to click a button that automatically converts the template into a ready-to-send text without all the extra steps. I had a problem getting a text out because I didn't realize that you had to use Textedly to send a shortened web address. I hadn't had to do that before, but customer service got it all fixed up for me. It always seems to work for me, except for rare occasions where I have problems with the text.
