It's functionality is great, making sending mass texts easy, with many features that mass texting services don't supply (images, for one). The price is not great in comparison to other services, but these extra features are a plus. Customer support is extremely quick, if not immediate, which is a huge plus. The biggest downside I had was setting up the service: for a small community, we don't have all the legal lingo and releases in place, we simply collect the phone numbers from our congregants. For a big company, this would probably have been an easy process, but we faced multiple barriers when doing it (I will say, though, that the support staff ended up coming in strong and streamlining the process for us). I like that Textedly offers a way for our business to communicate with our customers on both a one-to-many basis as well as one-to-one. Textedly creates a fast way to communicate the information our customers need and an easy way to follow up on their orders. I manage over 10K contacts on a separate CRM so textedly allows me to communicate with our contacts in a clear and concisne manner. I like the bulk message feature and the schedule feature. I love that you can add images but can also keep it very basic. My favorite feature is the bulk contact upload. Usually when you follow a CSV outline the file doesnt import as it shoud lbut this one does! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is out of date. We need more search features for the contacts to troubleshoot error messages. For example searhcing for archived contacts, or veiringthe buld contact upload feature of errors right on the spot to fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Textedly is a great resource once you get started. Their customer service team was great when I need help fixing an issue. And in general, I love how simply I can send a message to a bunch of my database all at once so I can share any special offers and promotions without utilizing a bunch of man power. It is very hard for me to stay under the character limit. It can become very expensive when you are trying to send a message. Therefore, I must keep my messages short and sweet so I'm not paying more than my budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I just signed up for Textedly yesterday, and so far, I’m really impressed. The platform is super easy to navigate, even for a first-timer like me. It didn’t take long to figure out how to get everything set up, which I really appreciated.
What stood out most was their customer service. Even in this short time, they’ve been incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I enjoy that I can place tags within each contact so that I can send things out in batches. I enjoy that I can send mass messages and schedule messages. I also enjoy that I can easily contact customer support and they will respond swiftly. It is easy to implement and we use it at least twice a week if not more. We have been able to teach others in our team to use it and incorporate it into our day-to-day. It's easy to receive messages back from residents and text them responses. I most enjoy that the residents are able to send text messages and photo responses and I get email alerts with every message that we recieve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could lable when a message needs to be re-read. I wish there was an "Are you sure" message before submission so it helps pause and capture mistakes. Let's face it, SMS marketing can be a bit challenging to understand, at least for a layman like myself. I want to focus on doing what I do best and not have to monkey around with marketing tools. And I find I tend to make a ton of mistakes! Textedly's customer support is always on point and very quickly gets me moving in the right direction again. There have been a couple times when I was surprised by a rate increase, but that's probably on me for not reading emails thoroughly. And when I've asked questions about fees/rates I get a clear, no BS answer from customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platforms user-friendly layout makes this ideal for a person at any tech level. Most things are self-explanatory or have a user guide, when I run into random questions the customer service reps are very fast to respond via chat or email.
Our company has different offices, so the ability to have different contact lists/key words for different groups of people is a huge plus, because us admin people can all "partner" on the same account, yet send messages to small or large groups from any office. I thought I was locked out of my account after losing access to the email I believed it was tied to. I figured there wasn’t much hope of getting it unlocked without access on my end, but I decided to send an email anyway—why not, right? Honestly, I didn’t expect much more than a generic, unhelpful response.
Then my phone buzzed, and I thought, Wow, that was fast—it’s gotta be an automated reply. But nope! It was Sara Davis from Textedly, with clear, easy-to-follow instructions to solve my problem. I still can’t believe how quickly she responded and how simple it was to fix.

I’m a big fan of texting for churches because it’s easy to use, yields high response rates, and effectively encourages engagement compared to other communication methods.
