  ### 1. All-in-one social media tool with strong support

**What do you like best about Oktopost?**

We use Oktopost across our postal organization for everything related to social media — from publishing and community management to our employee advocacy program. We value having everything in one place. It makes our workflows more efficient and our analytics more meaningful.

The tool is very easy to use, both for us as social media managers and for our corporate influencers. The user interface is highly intuitive.
We also particularly appreciate the strong support and guidance from our Oktopost contact person, which goes far beyond troubleshooting and regularly provides us with valuable input.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

The German translation leaves much to be desired. It is clearly a machine translation and sometimes incorrect. While it can occasionally be amusing, it also causes confusion.  
One example: the English word “share” (as in how often something was shared) was translated as “Aktien,” which means corporate stock.

**What problems is Oktopost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit for us is that with Oktopost we can do everything in one place and directly compare campaigns, for example. This makes our workflows much more efficient.

**What do you like best about Oktopost?**

The platform is incredibly easy-to-use, which means advocates can be onboarded extremely quickly. It can also be integrated into platforms such as HubSpot so you can tie social media activity back to ROI. I have always found the Oktopost team incredibly helpful and they are more than happy to help support you with any technical questions or provide advice on how to optimise your advocacy programme. There's also a good level of innovation with the video editing and AI capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

Overall, the pricing is reasonable but I do think the cost of adding an additional admin or board quite expensive.

**What problems is Oktopost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee advocacy is helping us maximise the reach of our brand on social media. Before Oktopost, we were relying heavily on the brand account. Oktopost is enabling us to turn employees into thought-leaders and brand ambassadors, and we're seeing an increased amount of traffic from organic social to high-value assets like customer case studies.

**What do you like best about Oktopost?**

Oktopost is easy to use, intuitive, and makes managing social media content efficient. 

The employee advocacy feature is particularly strong and provides a simple, well-organised way for employees to share content. 

The team is also friendly, responsive, and always willing to help, which makes for a great overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

Some features feel a little dated compared to other tools on the market, particularly around AI.

**What problems is Oktopost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oktopost helps us manage multiple social media accounts in one place, making it easier to plan, schedule, and measure content performance. 

It also provides visibility into both global and local account data, helping us understand what's working and make more informed decisions. 

Conversion tracking is another great feature, giving us insight into the impact of our social activity, although we're still relatively new to using it and have more opportunity to maximise its value.

**What do you like best about Oktopost?**

Publishing, advocacy, inbox, and analytics are unified in one tool. The dashboards are easy to build and straightforward to customize. Support and onboarding are top-notch, and I especially appreciate the proactive alerts about outages and backend issues. Overall, the tool feels fast and reliable. Advocates also report that the AI text functionality is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

I can’t tag items in bulk. As an admin, I also can’t manage advocates’ topic subscriptions from the back end. I don’t have enough visibility into the integrations to tell whether they’re actually adding value. On top of that, advocate licenses are pricey.

**What problems is Oktopost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to create polls and add the first comment directly on LinkedIn, but now I can do both right inside the tool. It saves me time and reduces the chance that I’ll forget or overlook that first comment.

We've been using Oktopost for several years, managing our social media presence across multiple platforms, and it's made a real difference in how our marketing team operates. Scheduling and publishing content across channels from one central dashboard is very useful.
We really like the employee advocacy program. It lets us provide employees with pre-approved, on-brand content they can share with just a few clicks and exposes them to the most relevant content through use of the app. 
We've also appreciated having social media management and advocacy connected in one platform.  Overall, Oktopost has helped us extend our brand's reach in a way that feels authentic and measurable, and we'd recommend it to any B2B team looking to level up their social strategy.

**What do you like best about Oktopost?**

Oktopost makes it easy to manage all of our social media channels and track performance in one place. What I like most is the Social BI (analytics tool), which allows me to build customizable dashboards or use pre-built templates to focus on the KPIs and metrics that matter most, instead of sorting through unnecessary data. It makes reporting and data gathering much easier.

The setup is also easy, and the team has been helpful and responsive. I especially want to mention our account manager, Megan Brown. I worked with her at my previous company, and when I moved to my current company, I specifically asked to work with her again because she's fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

The one feature I really dislike is the social listening tool. It pulls in a lot of irrelevant content while also missing posts that should be included, and it's harder and more confusing to set up than it should be.  Even after more than 3.5 years working with Oktopost, I haven't seen much improvement, so I ended up using a separate tool for social listening instead.

**What problems is Oktopost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oktopost helps me manage all of our social media channels in one place instead of checking each platform separately. It centralizes messages across platforms, makes it easier to track analytics and KPIs, and helps me schedule posts, monitor performance, and report on results more efficiently.

  ### 7. A Solid Social Media Scheduling & Employee Advocacy Platform

**What do you like best about Oktopost?**

It’s very easy to use right off the bat. You can log in and get going without feeling like you need a tutorial first. The interface is clean and well thought through. I like that I can preview the posts before publishing and tailor the audience segments based on the campaigns we're running.

I’m also a big fan of the Advocacy capabilities. It’s straightforward to set up and simple for employees to actually use, which is usually where these things fall down. It makes sharing content feel structured but not rigid, and it helps extend reach in a way that feels coordinated across the org.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

It would be really helpful to be able to schedule the first comment when scheduling a post. On platforms like LinkedIn, adding links in the first comment is often part of the strategy. Having to go back and post that manually adds an extra step that could easily be streamlined.

**What problems is Oktopost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oktopost is solving the problem of coordination. Without a central platform, social media quickly becomes fragmented, with different people posting in different ways, at different times, with limited visibility. Oktopost brings structure to that. It gives us one place to plan, schedule and track content across channels, which makes the whole process more intentional.

It also solves the challenge of employee advocacy at scale. Getting people to share company content consistently is hard. Having a dedicated advocacy hub makes it simple and organised, which increases participation and extends our reach without adding complexity.

From a reporting perspective, it helps consolidate performance data so we’re not pulling numbers from multiple platforms manually. That saves time and gives us a clearer view of what’s working.

The benefit overall is efficiency and clarity. We spend less time managing the mechanics of social media and more time focusing on content and strategy.

**What do you like best about Oktopost?**

The "Employee Advocacy" part is what I like the most, as it is easy to use, allowing employees to share corporate content and also automatically track the impact of that content. Overall, I find the platform very intuitive and easy to handle.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

The success of the advocacy part largely depends on employees reviewing the panel and sharing manually. Additionally, I believe it can be a drawback that the leaderboard is unique and cannot be customized by groups or teams. This sometimes demotivates new users when they see the "top sharers" as something unattainable.

**What problems is Oktopost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most important thing Oktopost has helped us with is aligning socially as a company. Through the tool, certain selected employees can share the most relevant content or what we most need to generate brand awareness, which allows us all to move in the same direction, and the message to be unified and global. Additionally, we are very happy with the customer service, as they are always attentive and help us resolve any issues or problems we may have.

If it helps, we do have the ability to set-up multiple Leaderboards that you can then segment advocates across different Leaderboards based on any criteria you see fit for your program.

For example, by grouping advocates based on common denominators such as number of followers, skills, region, language, department, or even advocacy mastery, it often can create a level playing field for each advocate to participate, motivating them to participate and hopefully seeing themselves at the top of their team Leaderboard. I use Oktopost as our primary organic social media management platform, and it helps us schedule and publish content across multiple social media channels efficiently. I appreciate its ability to monitor campaign performance and create detailed reports for stakeholders. Oktopost really streamlines our social media management by centralizing content scheduling, analytics, and reporting, which reduces manual work. I like that it combines social media management and advocacy in a single platform. The advocacy feature is particularly useful as it gives more reach than paid campaigns. Also, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

I would like to see more videos for new users to make it easier for them. The advocacy feature is valuable, but I wish it had more gamification options to encourage employees to engage with the platform and post more on social media.

The ease in which I can schedule / post / edit my posts directly to my social channels like LinkedIn. 

Also I like the fact our marketing team will already prepopulate content for us to share, which means it takes away a lot of friction

I wish I had more data on who has engaged with my content after I have shared it

It is helping positioning me as a trusted advisor to my connections within the HR industry. By sharing insights I can show off upcoming product releases, industry news and insights i am keen on directly with my social networks.

However if my connections click through links and this leads to our corporate website and they become clients our sales / marketing team can see this journey and highlight which content has potentially come from me.

**What do you like best about Oktopost?**

I love how Oktopost staggers posts, which is a great feature when I get excited and want to share multiple articles at one sitting. It's an amazing advantage over other ways of posting. I like how simple it is to take a URL from someone's post, put it in Oktopost, and spread the message further. The platform is simple, easy to use, straightforward, and anybody can do it. The interface is simple and clean. I love the competitive aspect, I love when I'm number one in the rankings for our team. It also does a great job training us on best practices. It helps us to understand what makes a difference in our scores. It's very helpful. I just love how simple and easy to use it is. I like the analytics. I also like seeing how my shares get noticed. The setup was super simple; just a few clicks and you're in. We switched to Oktopost, and it surpasses the other product we used before.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

Oftentimes, I'm in LinkedIn, not in Oktopost, and I don't know if I can get credit for some of the work that I'm doing. I wish there was a more seamless interface that would allow me to see what I've posted before. Like on Facebook, I can go and see all the things I posted on my page and when they came out. It's a little less clear in Oktopost. I wish you included a thumbnail of the photo associated with my posts because I'm a visual person. I would love to see what I have coming tomorrow. I see each day and what is going to be posted in 2 sentances. I feel like that could be a little bit improved.

Oktopost prevents posting too many things in one day by spreading out posts. It's loaded with brilliant articles for easy selection, boosting my credibility with the community.

**What do you like best about Oktopost?**

I like that Oktopost makes sharing predefined content easy and lets me customize the text to suit my style. I also appreciate the ability to change boards so I can send a mix of North America, Europe, and Global content. The AI feature that regenerates the message text is helpful because it starts me off with content that's more like what I would have written. The friendly competition through points is motivating, and I use the different boards for a better selection of content, helping me post something every day. The email prompts when new content is available are also something I like. Setting up Oktopost was easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

I wish there was more content from North America (where I am). Also I noted that the Global and Europe points given are different than North America so it makes it a bit unfair even if we had the same amount of content. I think it would be better if the points I earn on each board were consolidated together - so that regardless of the content source, my efforts add up to one combined point score and ranking.

**What problems is Oktopost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oktopost makes sharing content easy and customizable, like it's me writing it. I use different boards for diverse content, AI helps start with natural text, and the points system adds a fun competition to keep me motivated.

You should be able to select from things you already posted. Also difficult to cancel a contract. An autorenew clause is built in and not clear.

I appreciate the possibility to track exactly who has interacted with which social media posts before they convert. This gives us further transparency into our funnel, and we're able to attribute MQLs to socials more accurately than we could before. I like that we are able to better optimize our social posts as we can see exactly which are converting and which aren't. It's also easy to get started, especially in terms of using the platform itself.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

We are happy with the functionality, however, the user seats are a bit expensive which limits us to who can log in. We wouldn't need our whole team to be able to publish posts, but it would be nice to have viewer or reporting seats which are either free or much cheaper. Easy to get started, not easy to get started with the tracking as you need to set up a CNAME. Oktopost also changes the campaign UTM parameter's to include oktopost which means the attribution of these posts to our HubSpot campaings becomes a bit more complicated.

I use Oktopost to track social interactions. It helps us see engagement before conversion, attributing MQLs more accurately. We optimize social posts by knowing which convert, giving us transparency into our funnel.

In general it's been a good tool for us over the past 3+ years. Comparable to other tools on the market and has a clean user interface that's easy to navigate with minimal to no training. Team uses it daily for publishing, reporting, and building post queues for employee advocacy. Integrates well with Salesforce so we can track impact of owned and earned activity on pipeline at the account level through to closed/won business.

**What do you dislike about Oktopost?**

We dropped the Listening module as we could never get it to function for us. No matter what parameters we or the Oktopost team set, the Listening insights were completely irrelevant. Other challenges tend to be minor/consistent with similar tools (e.g., occasional API glitches that stop posts from publishing as scheduled, or a recent case where about a month of employee advocacy data was unrecoverable). The AI rewrite capabilities are also very basic and don't return results we'd ever actually publish.

**What problems is Oktopost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oktopost allows us to plan calendars and draft/edit/schedule posts directly across multiple channels. It automatically handles link shortening and allows us to tie posts back to campaigns. We use out of the box and custom reports as our source of truth for key metrics like engagement and pipeline influence, and can drill down for insights at the profile level to see which posts, channels, campaigns, and advocates are most effective. It's SSO enabled so advocates can access the app from tools they already use, which has been a key factor in driving adoption.

The platform is well-suited for planning and analyzing social media posts. The operation is intuitive and mostly self-explanatory. Customer support is easy to reach. We use Oktopost almost daily for our planning. Implementation and integration are simple.

When we access the publication calendar, we have to select our regional profiles in the filtering each time. This is somewhat cumbersome. Perhaps there is a way to define this in advance or make it definable.

I wish for more options for personal settings at the user level. As already described, for example, a pre-selection of regional social media profiles.
