I can create a new one easily, but it's even easier to copy an existing business workflow or approval workflow to a template. It's very helpful for me as the administrator because using other platforms was a bit more complicated to create new workflows. Malbek makes adjustments quicker and allows me to create separate workflows for specific templates. I also appreciate how easy it is to get acclimated as a new user. I started with the company five months ago, and I can already create workflows, new templates, configure contract documents to auto-populate, and create conditional language and clauses. It's easier than other platforms I've used. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** I think a little bit of improvement in the reporting process. Some of the functions in the reporting, like the facet 'waiting for approval from', I would love to be able to filter by that, but it's not available to be filtered. I can display it, but I can't filter it out, so I can't have customized reports that immediately show what's waiting on specific approvers. Also, as a CLM administrator, I would love to be able to create reports and actually share them out to people without waiting for them to subscribe to the reports. And, I'd like to be able to clone a report instead of having to create a new report every time. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** Malbek provides a single source of truth for our contract repository and helps manage approval documentation according to company policy. As an administrator, it was very unclear about the type of roles and permissions, and it took us a long time to assign appropriate roles to users. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** Malbek is where we record legal contracts, especially for vendors. Its AI is integrated within the core system, rather than a wrapper around existing legacy systems. Their UI/UX is by far the best we've seen, with an intuitive interface. Their onboarding team is eager to turn us into "raving fans" of the system, which we intend to become. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** Some of the more advanced features are add-on, rather than included in the base price. They also place limits on the number of documents that can be analyzed using AI. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking for an intuitive, AI-first, and enterprise-level CLM solution. Some of their solutions will be game-changing for us, like their intelligent amendments AI tool. Our existing solution (Conga) was incredibly clunky and its AI tools were not well integrated into the system. ### 4. I really appreciate being able to add contacts in for signatures and Legal can manage the process from there. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** Still kind of clunky! It can be difficult to find contracts and know exactly what needs to be updating before selling a customer a new product. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's solving the problem of sending Terms and Conditions to prospects, having them edit it, me forward the email to legal, etc. Before Malbek it was a lot like the game of telephone trying to negotiate terms with prospects. The visibility into contracts is beneficial for our users who need to know what's happening with their contracts and where they are in the process. Malbek provides that flexibility and visibility we need. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** 1. Reporting could be substantially improved, maybe by adding something like Power BI within the app. 2. When starting in Malbek, you have to be very thoughtful about what you are doing because it may lead to rework, especially around fields you want added or changed. 3. The vendor master/supplier master feel a bit disjointed. 4. I also appreciate that it's easy to search and it's a very flexible and useful contract management tool. Additionally, the new Malbek AI features, together with the playbooks, are fantastic and have been saving me a lot of time. I absolutely love it. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** The dashboards are quite limited and lack a variety of features and filters. In my opinion, Malbek could benefit from making improvements to its dashboards. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** Malbek is extremely user-friendly and serves as a central hub for all contract-related matters, making it easy to track contracts and address any queries in one place. We have experienced significant benefits, such as no longer having to chase down different versions in emails or wait on the legal team for updates. Everything is consolidated, making it much easier to monitor and review contracts quickly. Personally, this has resulted in fewer bottlenecks, faster deal turnaround, and greater confidence that nothing is being overlooked. Additionally, the new AI feature is absolutely impressive—it has reduced our legal review time and ensures we rarely miss any important points in large contracts, as the AI reviews them thoroughly. ### 8. If the email is lost, it's not possible to see what was sent in the original approval workflow.
