I like the user interface of Malbek and appreciate that it's easily customizable and configurable without needing any coding. I also like that we have visibility into our contracts and where they are in the process. The customizability and configurability allow us to make changes quickly without any core development, which is incredibly helpful. 1. Reporting could be substantially improved, maybe by adding something like Power BI within the app. 2. When starting in Malbek, you have to be very thoughtful about what you are doing because it may lead to rework, especially around fields you want added or changed. 3. The vendor master/supplier master feel a bit disjointed. 4. Lastly, the initial setup could have been better because we didn't have a foundation to start with, so we didn't know what we were getting into and realized later things we might have done differently. I really like Malbek for its high configurability. It's not a very rigid solution, so there's always a way to achieve what you're looking for, and you very rarely hit hard stops. This configurability is particularly useful for me because my company is somewhat large and has very unique processes. It's important that Malbek can integrate with our current tools and fit into our existing processes. I like Malbek's customization ability in the total contract cycle, including customizable approvals. The reporting function is helpful for creating metrics, and I enjoy that they consistently release enhancements, always trying to make the system better for users. I appreciate the ability to manage the approval process at different stages, ensuring the right people are seeing and approving contracts. It's optimal that we can make changes without the help of IT or Malbek support. I would like to see more options to resend approvals in a workflow or the ability to see what documents were sent with approvals. If the email is lost, it's not possible to see what was sent in the original approval workflow. Having the ability to remind a specific person in a complex workflow would help speed up the approval process. The daily or 3-day reminder emails are fine, but most people that are approving contracts have a lot of emails from Malbek, and the reminder just gets lost as well. They also have an amazing support team that's willing to help answer any questions or provide technical guidance. Working with amendment workflows could be simpler as well as simplifying the configuration transition between sandbox and production environments. Allowing an automated migration between sandbox and production environments would significantly cut down admin time and reduce risk of missing configuration.
