Even if a function or a service isn't immediately apparent on the screen, with a little thought, I always find what I'm looking for. The structured intake is definitely a big win for us. Although the initial implementation was a little overwhelming, we were able to establish a good rhythm very quickly once we got into the habit. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** It feels like sometimes in the system, there are legacy functions that hinder the system. I can create a new one easily, but it's even easier to copy an existing business workflow or approval workflow to a template. It's very helpful for me as the administrator because using other platforms was a bit more complicated to create new workflows. Malbek makes adjustments quicker and allows me to create separate workflows for specific templates. I also appreciate how easy it is to get acclimated as a new user. I started with the company five months ago, and I can already create workflows, new templates, configure contract documents to auto-populate, and create conditional language and clauses. It's easier than other platforms I've used. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** I think a little bit of improvement in the reporting process. Some of the functions in the reporting, like the facet 'waiting for approval from', I would love to be able to filter by that, but it's not available to be filtered. I can display it, but I can't filter it out, so I can't have customized reports that immediately show what's waiting on specific approvers. Also, as a CLM administrator, I would love to be able to create reports and actually share them out to people without waiting for them to subscribe to the reports. This meant that some functionalities and features were not fully mature or compatible with our core processes, leading to occasional challenges in adapting the tool to our specific workflows. While the team worked diligently to address these issues, the initial integration required more customization and support than anticipated. I also like that it will drive consistency in how we all work on contracts and the info the business requestors need to provide upfront when submitting contracts. I also like that it is a collaborative tool where multiple users and easily work on the same document in the tool without tedious back and forth emails. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** The only real downside I see in using Malbek is in how we choose to configure it. Adding to many custom fields or options for users to select could make it confusing for users. Also, all teammates at UA most likely wont have licenses due to the cost, so there may be instances where some teammates we need to collaborate with, wont have the full functionality. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have very manual processes to store and search for executed contracts. Malbek will help automate the process for storing completed contracts and have a searchable database that can also send reminders when contracts are up for renewal. Also, it is very manual and time consuming to draft contracts on our templates. Malbek wil make it easy for users to determine the right contract template and only worry about completing certain fields specific to their engagement. This will speed up the contract drafting process and ensure we are using the correct templates. I want Malbek's administration team to take more interest in what is helpful for my specific company that may not be the general use of the system. For example, when the requester is at the signature stage looking to send a document for signature, Malbek shouldn't advise that the current Word document is a supporting document when that is the document that will be used to finalize the contract. Like any system, it takes getting used to (and training your teams on a new process which can always be challenging), BUT for the most part I have found that our teams have quickly adopted Malbek. I was super grateful for Malbek's robust implementation process, where they literally held our hands through the entire configuration. This allowed lots of time to really dig into the system and ask questions to understand how everything works. I had worked with CLM tools before and I found this implementation to run super smoothly with all of their team's assistance. I don't find a lot of the back-end work to be intuitive (probably just the nature of a CLM), but thankfully they have an AMAZING support team that is willing to guide you and a Zendesk library full of helpful articles. I love that we have one place to intake, track and report on all of our contracts. Our Salesteam loves the Salesforce integration I also love that Malbek uses familiar technology such as @ mentioning others and integrating with tools like G-drive and Slack. But overall, I think the most valuable feature Malbek has is its integration with Microsfot Word - DocMaster! It is an amazing tool and the best Word integration I've seen out of all the CLM demos I've done and other systems I've used. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** - I wish the signature tool had more functionality like DocuSign (recognizing emails you have typed before, customizing notes to different signers, ability to edit in Malbek vs. directly in DocuSign) - I wish there was a feature that enabled a conversion of a PDF to Word doc in the system - right now we have to convert to Word and re-upload - I wish there was a way to allow the Salesperson to be able to stay in their existing email string with a customer instead of needing to send separate emails each time a contract needs to go back to a customer (in general, our Salespeople don't like sending their emails via Malbek, but we're trying!) - One thing we really dislike is that all attachments are combined into one document when you use the Send for Negotiation feature. This is really tough when we have a big deal with tons of attachments - it gets confusing for the customer and us.
