It does not take much to design your workflows, implement, and onboard users into the software. I am impressed by the robust analytical reports the system can generate as well as the ability to quickly create new templates and use cases **What do you dislike about Malbek?** the connections are very limited from an ERP integration perspective. Often times with vendor-related agreements the documents should flow into the ERP or will need to reference some sort of purchase order. The integrations that Malbek has do not capture that data all that well. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** My organization did not properly store versions of agreements nor did we have a way to track renewal dates. An example of this is not being able to eliminate duplicate names of vendors. Like any system, it takes getting used to (and training your teams on a new process which can always be challenging), BUT for the most part I have found that our teams have quickly adopted Malbek. I was super grateful for Malbek's robust implementation process, where they literally held our hands through the entire configuration. This allowed lots of time to really dig into the system and ask questions to understand how everything works. I had worked with CLM tools before and I found this implementation to run super smoothly with all of their team's assistance. I don't find a lot of the back-end work to be intuitive (probably just the nature of a CLM), but thankfully they have an AMAZING support team that is willing to guide you and a Zendesk library full of helpful articles. I love that we have one place to intake, track and report on all of our contracts. Our Salesteam loves the Salesforce integration I also love that Malbek uses familiar technology such as @ mentioning others and integrating with tools like G-drive and Slack. But overall, I think the most valuable feature Malbek has is its integration with Microsfot Word - DocMaster! It is an amazing tool and the best Word integration I've seen out of all the CLM demos I've done and other systems I've used. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** - I wish the signature tool had more functionality like DocuSign (recognizing emails you have typed before, customizing notes to different signers, ability to edit in Malbek vs. directly in DocuSign) - I wish there was a feature that enabled a conversion of a PDF to Word doc in the system - right now we have to convert to Word and re-upload - I wish there was a way to allow the Salesperson to be able to stay in their existing email string with a customer instead of needing to send separate emails each time a contract needs to go back to a customer (in general, our Salespeople don't like sending their emails via Malbek, but we're trying!) - One thing we really dislike is that all attachments are combined into one document when you use the Send for Negotiation feature. This is really tough when we have a big deal with tons of attachments - it gets confusing for the customer and us. In these cases, we send the docs outside of the system - I wish you could easily change the type of document (Contract vs. Supporting vs. Internal, etc.) via drag feature vs. having to manually re-upload correctly **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** - Better organization of our contracts - Ability to report on data in our contracts that we couldn't easily do before - Now that we have Malbek, I don't find that I need to use a separate Project Management tool like I used to **Official Response from Taeler Gannuscia:** > Thank you for taking the time to share your experience using Malbek. There was not a single source of truth. Also, it was hard to keep a track of renewals and expiration. When the questions are more complex, I am made aware that it is being worked on and receive a confirmation once completed. I am never left in limbo! They share software updates with their customers so we know what features have been updated or added. They walk you through personal 1-1 training specific to your needs, and have video training on top of it. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** Contracts can't be deleted which creates a bit of a clutter. You can have it in a different stage for filtering, but it would be great if you could delete contracts that have never been Active. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had to create a new environment for the company when our contract process was changed. They worked with us from start to finish. We have been in the new environment for just under a month and the new process flows smoothly. I also learned quite a bit more about development through this process. Ask to speak with clients who have a similar technology stack and their experience with Malbek in product, support, enhancements and overall stability of solution. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a solution to inventory our agreements, align the org under a common risk framework, and create standards for review to accelerate a constantly changing business process. Malbek supported results of 30%+ efficiency improvement for multiple quarters upon implementation (we budgeted and met our 12 weeks schedule). We were able to configure the system (templates, workflows, business flows etc) ourselves without depending on the support of our IT team. Very easy to navigate and configure to meet your requirements. **What do you dislike about Malbek?** We had a requirement for a very important feature which would allow us to mass download contracts, data and attachments. Malbek didn't offer the ability to download attachments, only to mass download and extract the data from our contracts. The issue was addressed and implemented quickly! We now have the functionality to mass download data AND attachments! **Recommendations to others considering Malbek:** Whether your company is small or large, Malbek Contrax would make sense as a contract management system. I've implemented other systems within the company and by far Malbek was the easiest. We were able to completely configure the system and go live during a pandemic, from home which speaks volumes to the ease of use and flexibility. **What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to auto grade our contracts using a workflow and a point system. This saves our RLC's the hassle of manual calculation and leaves less room for error. We are able to analyze each clause in our clause library which shows how many contracts each clause has been used in and also lists the risk factor. We're able to generate reports and configure them to auto-run and distribute to the necessary recipients for easy reference. Templates and workflows are VERY easy to create using a simple drag and drop feature ..
