Allow the system to detect all caps in a name (ie. ABC Company, LLC instead of it reading it as Abc Company, Llc). 2. Especially during COVID, Linksquares has created continuity for our team from working at the office to at home. They have been instrumental in creating a cloud-based back office that we have prioritized since the pandemic forced us to work from home. The customer service is unparalleled with other cloud-based systems we have implemented. The benefit is creating standardization of formats. Some contracts used to be with some employees, in hard or soft copy. There was never one place housing all agreements. Often we would realize after the fact that we had been working off an expired contract. We now get notifications when a contract is set to terminate or renew and no longer have the issue of finding a contract or allowing contracts to lapse inadvertently. ### 6. This also allowed us to set alerts when contracts are coming due so that we can be proactive when looking towards renewals and not waiting until the last minute due to oversight. I also have to give a shout-out to the team I've worked with over there. They have been super helpful in designing what we need out of the system and really quick to help if I have questions. **What do you dislike about LinkSquares?** The only thing that has been an issue was the initial setup. It was a little bit more cumbersome than I would have liked, but that was mostly our issue with not having enough capacity (or dedicated resources with bandwidth) to focus on setting up the tags and other helpful features. **What problems is LinkSquares solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest benefit I've realized in the short time we have been using LinkSquares is that we can now quickly search our contract base and pull all deals that have shared characteristics (i.e. same products sold, same customers). ### 11. The platform itself is very sleek and user-friendly. Customer service is the best and I have found all of the LS employees to be responsive and great to work with. I am in the late stages of implementation and very excited to launch to the rest of my organization. **What do you dislike about LinkSquares?** Inputting third party contracts for review and negotiation is not as smooth as other platforms. In general, the workflow portion of the platform is less developed than some other tools; on the flipside, since it's less developed, it's also less prescriptive and isn't primarily useful for sales teams and integration with Salesforce. Also, the platform's UI style is a little more tech-centric than some of the others I looked at. I personally don't mind this but I suspect it could be a little more challenging for some people to learn how to utilize effectively. **Recommendations to others considering LinkSquares:** Demo 4-5 platforms and determine whether your priority is workflow or repository, and whether Salesforce integration is a critical aspect of a CLM. Compare pricing and make sure you only pay for what you need. Think through who/how many users your organization will need and with what type of access (e.g. request submission only vs. visibility into all contracts vs. admin). **What problems is LinkSquares solving and how is that benefiting you?** Management of contracts, which can be as simple as just awareness of what contracts exist in the first place and ease in identifying and locating them or as complex as reporting on key terms, termination dates, etc. I am still implementing our contract templates prior to rolling out a contract request/submission process to my organization, and once I do that, I hope to solve a LOT of problems and noise around contract review and negotiation. The primary benefit I've realized is having an organized contract repository with clear visibility into what the contract themselves are, without having to do anything other than upload into the LS platform. Previously had to rename files, create foldering system, and otherwise organize in a very manual way. ### 14. The user interface is simple and intuitive. It's easy to upload agreements, tag and link them appropriately, and create tasks associated with them. The tasking function saves us a lot of time by automatically sending reminders to our team. I like the ability to link agreements since many of our contracts have multiple parts. It's also easy to set specific access restrictions so everyone who should have access to particular agreements can view them. Their customer success team works hard to make sure you are taking advantage of all the system's features and that they work for you. Their customer service is excellent. Everyone always responds promptly, and they are knowledgeable enough to answer your questions. LinkSquares is a great tool that is well supported. **What do you dislike about LinkSquares?** I wish their tasking function, calendar function, and Adobe Sign were more extensible. However, they are constantly releasing updated features, and I know these features are on the critical path and will be released soon. **What problems is LinkSquares solving and how is that benefiting you?** The most tedious task we had to do before was emailing those responsible for periodic contract-related actions. It makes it much easier to find specific clauses, and the ability to track termination deadlines has been immensely helpful. **What do you dislike about LinkSquares?** There are some instances where the OCR version of the document that the AI reviews misses some of the key pieces or includes an extra counterparty. It isn't difficult to catch these items during review, and the addition of the "processing" tab has helped highlight those items that need review, but you do have to double-check key information when uploading new agreements. **What problems is LinkSquares solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're providing easy access to our contract repository to the whole firm and removing the legal team as a middle man, giving business units a better look at the contracts under their purview. ### 18. The addition of human eyes assisting with OCR on very old/poorly scanned documents is unique and makes this product stand out. There are over 50 terms, many of which do not pertain to our line of business, that their AI looks for and automatically tags and no one else comes close to that, if they even have AI tags at all. The onboarding team is very engaged and proactive in helping identify all of our business uses for their product. Our dedicated team members respond to inquiries very quickly and provide thorough answers. The OCR has been perfect and that's impressive considering everything was scanned in. We can now search for any word or phrase within all of our documents and be confident the OCR picked up all of the documents. We could not be happier with LinkSquares. **What do you dislike about LinkSquares?** If I had to find something to dislike about LinkSquares, it would be their not having a customer service department for phone calls. This hasn't been an issue yet, as our onboarding team has been around whenever we needed them, but could be a little problem later. They may add a customer service team for phone calls as they grow their business. **What problems is LinkSquares solving and how is that benefiting you?** We now have key contract terms such as termination dates, change-in-control clauses, and automatic renewal clauses tracked by AI. That saves us a lot of time from manually storing this information on a spreadsheet. We could not search for words within agreements with our old system, and now we can search for specific words or phrases throughout every agreement we have. We had a cloud storage vessel, but it wasn't easily searchable, it wasn't very intuitive, we couldn't use boolean searches. It made finding any sort of document near impossible. And there was no OCR function, so if we didn't know the exact name of the document itself (what it was saved as), we'd never find it. Linksquares solved that problem. ### 22.
