Full disclosure: I'm the CEO of Govern 365, so I'll keep this focused on one architectural distinction I think is worth adding to your evaluation. Most of the platforms above share a similar model: your documents are uploaded into the vendor's cloud, where the security controls live. They do that well. But for PE specifically, it's worth asking a different question during diligence on the tools themselves - where does the data actually live, and whose compliance boundary is it inside? Govern 365 takes a tenant-native approach. The data room runs inside your own Microsoft 365 tenant, so confidential deal documents never leave your security and compliance perimeter. Your existing controls - sensitivity labels, DLP, Microsoft Purview, conditional access, retention policies - apply to the data room automatically, and there's no third-party copy of your LPs' or a target's confidential information sitting in an outside vendor's cloud. For PE workflows that tends to matter most in two places: capital raises (where LP data and side letters are highly sensitive) and buy-side / sell-side diligence (where you're accountable for how confidential financials are handled end to end).
