## About UnSpot
After the pandemic, many employees no longer need to work from the office 5 days a week, and companies no longer need to have a workplace assigned to only 1 person, allowing different people to sit at the same place on different days. Find the best workplace, with the right equipment, or find a colleague you want to sit with. Book a table or meeting room in one click. Plan your schedule around when the team will be in the office, without long discussions. Don’t miss the days when a colleague you want to talk to comes to the office. Find your way around offices or floors where you rarely visit. The system contains all the necessary integrations for ease of use, such as Active Directory, and Google and Exchange calendars. It also has a highly developed functionality for finding and booking meeting rooms, including placing displays at the front of the room. If a company even partially introduces flexible jobs, this gives people a choice, and the company the opportunity to increase staff without a costly relocation to another office. Don’t let hybrid work get in the way of working together. Give employees an easy way to manage their hybrid schedule, invite co-workers onsite, and book a nearby desk in one click, both from desktop or mobile app.

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

I use UnSpot to easily book desks and meeting rooms, plan my office visits, and see when my teammates will be in the office so we can collaborate better. What I like most about UnSpot is how simple and convenient it makes booking desks and meeting rooms. The platform is easy to use, saves time, and helps keep the office organized by allowing teams to quickly see available spaces and plan their workdays efficiently. The initial setup of UnSpot was straightforward and easy to complete, and the onboarding process was simple, which allowed the team to start booking desks and meeting rooms quickly without much technical difficulty. Overall, UnSpot provided a more streamlined and user-friendly platform that simplified scheduling and improved overall office management.

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

One thing that could be improved about UnSpot is the speed and responsiveness of the platform at times, as it can occasionally feel slow when loading or updating bookings. Adding more customization options and improving notification features could also make the overall experience even better for users.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use UnSpot to book desks and meeting rooms easily, organize workspace schedules, and manage office resources efficiently in a hybrid environment. It solves the problem of finding available workspaces, coordinating office schedules, and improving collaboration with teammates.

  ### 2. Good tool but check-in rules annoying sometimes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Walter G. | HR analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

The app is quite easy, even for someone like me who don’t like complicate apps. I like that I can book my desk and see where my collegues sit, it helps me to not stay alone. The map is simple and doesn’t take long to figure out.

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

I don’t like the check-in rule, it’s little stressful. If I forget to do check-in, the desk goes away and it happened already twice. Maybe they can give more time or at least send a better remind.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we always asked our office manager to find us a spot, it was confusing and sometime there was no desk. Now, I just book by myself and it save lot of time for me and also for her. Also, I can see who comes to office, so I meet people and we go lunch together.

  ### 3. good for companies with layout spaces that don’t change

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ula C. | HR analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2025

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

I like how easy it is to book and manage meeting rooms. The layout of the app is pretty straightforward, even for those not so used to tech stuff. Also, I like that it lets us see which rooms have what equipment, so we don’t book a space that’s missing something we need.

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

Editing the office layout takes too long and requires help from UnSpot’s team, which is frustrating when we’re making changes.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many teams that need meeting rooms across different offices, and UnSpot helped organize the process. We also use it for desk booking, which was especially useful when we switched to hybrid work. Now, we always know which spaces are free and don’t waste time searching.

  ### 4. very effective and organized way to see coworkers schedule

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deniz S. | Event Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2025

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

I love being able to see which co-workers are comin on which days. I also love the map feature that let's you see where everyone is sitting. Being able to star specific people is super helpful. Also, being able to select different options for each day such as "remote - home" or "in office - 2nd floor" is incredibl!

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

I think my only comments about an improvement that I would like to make on Unspot but can't at the moment, is change the location of where I am going to be, the day of. Sometimes I plan on being in office on a certain day, but the morning of, something will come up and I need to be at a different location like "warehouse" and it won't let me change that.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Booking conference rooms, and seeing if the coworker I need to speak to is in or not

  ### 5. useful tool for hybrid work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carter H. | HR analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2025

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

For people who like to tweak and customize things, this system is great. You can set it up in a way that fits your office needs rather than just using it as it comes. Also, the UI has improved a lot recently, so it’s much smoother to use now.

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

Even though it’s way better than before, there are still some rough edges here and there. Some features feel a bit unfinished, and I hope they keep improving them.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of us work from home but still need to come to the office now and then. UnSpot makes it easy to see who’s in and make sure we’ve got space when we need it.

  ### 6. Easy for managing desks and spaces

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Genevieve Z. | Internal communications and corporate culture specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

UnSpot is very simple to set up and use. We started using it because of the pandemic, and it’s been great for managing our hot desks. Everyone on the team finds it intuitive to book desks or meeting rooms through the app. The ability to customize the office layout is also super handy for our needs.

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

Nothing comes to mind right now. It’s been working fine for us so far.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us limit how many people can be in the office at the same time, following local regulations. It also keeps track of who’s been in the office, which makes it easier to manage safety and health concerns.

  ### 7. Smooth and easy booking process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendrick L. | IT Support specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2024

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

I like how simple it is to use, and the overall design of the booking system is clean and easy on the eyes. It’s quick to book a desk, and I don’t have to waste time trying to figure out how it works.

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

The placement of the “release desk” button is a bit too close to the “check-in” button. I’ve accidentally released my desk a couple of times just because I was in a hurry and misclicked. Also, sometimes the office map doesn’t load correctly, so I have to zoom in and out a few times for it to show up properly.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best part is being able to see who’s going to be in the office. It helps me plan my workdays better so I can sync up with teammates in person. I used to waste time trying to figure out if someone would be in, but now it’s all there in the app.

  ### 8. Excelent tool for hybrid work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan H. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2024

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

Honestly, I like how simple it is to use. I can quickly book a desk or a meeting room with just a couple of clicks, and I really like that I can see where my teammates are sitting for the day. It’s super helpful to plan things, especially when we’re trying to collaborate. The fact that I can do this on my phone or laptop makes it even better.

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

The notifications can get a little annoying. I get reminders for my bookings a bit too often. It would be cool if I could tweak those settings a bit so it’s not so spammy.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before UnSpot, it was a mess trying to figure out who was coming into the office and when. Now, it’s so much easier to plan my workweek. I just check who’s gonna be in and book my desk. It’s also helping with making sure we don’t have too many people in the office at once, which has been super important lately.

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

I don’t like that it doesn’t connect with the front desk system. It would be better if the receptionist could see your booking directly instead of needing to show it yourself.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It stops me from wasting time going to the coworking space only to find it’s full. Now, I know my spot is confirmed before I leave the house.

We needed to manage office capacity carefully. UnSpot made it possible to safely reserve desks without overcrowding. We still use it now to keep things organized and avoid chaos in the office.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s really helpful for planning my office days around my colleagues. Now, I can easily book a desk near teammates and avoid unnecessary confusion.

  ### 12. Makes office life more organized and flexible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack B. | Software Tester, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

UnSpot is really user-friendly, and I like that it doesn’t take much time to learn. The desk and room booking features are very straightforward – you can reserve a spot in just a couple of clicks, which is nice. I also like the internal help desk feature. It's been handy for small tech problems that come up, so I don’t have to contact IT every time.

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

It’d be nice if they improved the notifications – I’ve missed a few reminders about my bookings, and sometimes it’s hard to tell when someone cancels a room. Also, the search could be better. It’s a bit limited when you’re trying to find specific information.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UnSpot has made scheduling so much easier. Before, we were juggling who would be in the office with emails and chats, but now it’s all in one place. The booking system alone has saved us so much hassle. It also helps with managing space; we can keep track of how many people are in each day, which has cut down on overcrowding and made it easier to work comfortably

  ### 13. Just the tool we needed for a flexible workspace"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about UnSpot?**

I really like how easy it is to book a desk or meeting room. It’s a pretty straightforward system, so I can just go into the app and grab a space without fussing around. The hybrid schedule feature is a bonus for keeping track of who’s in the office. Now I know when my teammates will be around, which makes planning group work way simpler. We didn't even know we needed this until we started using it!

**What do you dislike about UnSpot?**

Sometimes it feels a bit clunky on the mobile version, like there are extra steps that could probably be skipped. It’s not a huge deal, but it can be a little annoying when you're trying to quickly book a spot. Occasionally, it also takes a moment to update after reserving, so you’re not sure if it’s saved.

**What problems is UnSpot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing UnSpot has helped with is managing our shared spaces more efficiently. We have a lot of people working on different days, and it was chaotic trying to figure out who would be in the office and where they would sit. UnSpot has simplified that by letting us plan in advance and avoid overlapping. It's also good for budgeting office resources – we now only use what we need.

The price feels a bit on the higher side, which might be tough for smaller teams or companies. It’s great software, but a slightly cheaper option would make it more accessible.

The pop-up asking to share my booking is kind of annoying. I don’t really see the point in that feature, so I wish it was optional or could be turned off.
