If I see the hiring manager’s thumbs up on a test (along with reading their comments), I can quickly move that candidate forward without a discussion needed internally. **What do you dislike about Canditech?** I wish a thumbs up would move a candidate along to the next step in our ATS. **What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy communication internally on candidates’ tests. ### 2. Some of the candidates sit in various countries, so we used language skill-level tests and video responses to understand the candidate's language levels at an early stage in the process. As the AM role requires direct communication with our clients, a high level of English /different languages is required. We combined the language evaluation with our own tasks to test the candidates' technical skills, which is also an aspect of the role. **What do you dislike about Canditech?** Because we are using Canditech to assess language skills in many other languages besides English, it would’ve been great if they also offered translation services. However, we translated our tests into the languages we needed or used video response questions where candidates answered prompts in their languages **What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can now easily understand our candidates' language skill levels quickly and early on before moving forward with interviews. ### 3. Every position required an initial phone call, HR interview, secondary interview with at least 2 hiring managers, etc. By adding the tests early in our funnel, we’ve saved so much time previously spent on unnecessary interviews. **What do you dislike about Canditech?** The test library is impressive, however we were still lacking some tests for certain roles and had to create our own from scratch. They have a great test builder thought, so it was pretty simple and straightforward. **What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solved the inefficiencies we had in our hiring process. Now we only interview candidates with proven skills and potential to do the job, based on their Canditech test. ### 4. This was a very difficult role to hire since we looked for individuals that have a good mix of customer facing skills along with strong data analysis/technical skills. Using Canditech's software we tailored our assessments to combine both requirements and the results were extremely successful. We reduced face 2 face time by 50% while significantly improving the quality of candidates we proceeded with to final interviews and eventually hired. **What do you dislike about Canditech?** There was nothing I dislike. Obviously no software is perfect but it's definitely the best out there. **What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to assess both hard and soft skills quickly and bias free. ### 5. The combination of data analysis tasks, marketing tasks, and testing of general skills really helped us make confident and quick hiring decisions. **What do you dislike about Canditech?** Our product manager role had a bit of UI/UX responsibilities, which Canditech didn’t have a test for, but instead we had candidates upload a file with a design project. **What problems is Canditech solving and how is that benefiting you?** Really easy to customize the test and we quickly started sending it out to candidates within the first day of using Canditech. Pulling from their library of content is available, but just an option if you don’t need it. **What do you dislike about Canditech?** I havent found any issues when using Canditech.
