Sometimes it has perfomance issue, it lags while using different devices which reduces the real device experience and becomes difficult to undertsand. In some places it is high cost with respect to small teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Device Testing, User-Friendly Setup"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I appreciate that there's so many devices available on BrowserStack for testing, including both Android and Apple devices. This is really crucial for us since all of our clients use different types of tablets, with some having older or newer versions, and some using Apple while others use Android. This capability to test on specific devices helps us reproduce and pinpoint issues that may occur only on certain devices. Additionally, the initial setup was really easy, allowing me to manage users without hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I think when my team first started, there were just so many options to choose from as far as testing. They had to reach out to me to find out, like, what option they actually chose to test. Like, there's just different avenues available, so there was just some confusion there. Maybe there's just a little more streamlined on the main page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Multi-Browser Testing with Stellar Integrations"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I find BrowserStack's ecosystem easy to use for testing with Karma and Jasmine. It's great for running automated tests and reporting status directly back to the CLI. The setup is straightforward with the Karma Jasmine plugin from npm, making it easy to ensure our merge requests and nightly builds maintain conformity and pass all the tests across various environments. I'm particularly impressed with the ability to test on multiple browsers like Chrome, Windows, Mac, Firefox, and Safari. BrowserStack provides a solid infrastructure for fast tests and offers a good environment that's easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I think the Karma plugin needs improvement and maintenance from the BrowserStack team to be kept up to date. It's super useful and extremely good, and it could also have more features like more detailed reporting and more customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Eliminated Our Device Lab with Instant Access to Devices, Browsers and OSs"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

It completely killed our device lab. No more keeping old version of phone, browsers and OS to test and reproduce bugs. Also, we have access to more devices and operative systems that I can access in seconds.

The local testing is fantastic. Being able to securely tunnel my localhost directly to an device environment accelerates the development and catches many quirks early. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

The biggest annoyance is the latency. The input lag between clicking and the screen actually updating can be frustrating. It makes debugging fast UI animations painful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real Devices Testing with Confidence, But Wait Times Could Improve"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I love the fact that I can test on actual hardware with BrowserStack, which is ideal for catching hardware-specific bugs. It gives me total confidence that my app works in real life, not just a simulator, by catching hardware-specific issues like touch sensitivity or battery-related problems. I also love the feature that allows you to compare before and after screenshots to see any UI shifts. Testing on various OS and devices and simulation of actual user conditions are incredibly helpful, and identifying bugs that are hardware specific adds to the confidence that my users always have a perfect experience. Additionally, the initial setup was fairly simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

During peak hours the wait time can be a little frustrating but that's about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Absolutely Loved My Experience with BrowserStack"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I appreciate how easy BrowserStack makes cross-browser and cross-device testing. The ability to run tests on real devices and browsers, without the need for setup or ongoing maintenance, is especially valuable to me. The platform is efficient, runs smoothly, and accurately reflects user behavior. It helps me save time, reduces the risks associated with releases, and boosts my confidence in the quality of my application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack generally works well for me. However, I have observed that when running longer test sessions on iOS devices, they sometimes end due to time limits, which can be a bit frustrating. I also occasionally notice that some older browsers or devices tend to run a little slowly. Despite these minor issues, I still find the tool to be very helpful overall. "Comprehensive Cross-Browser Testing"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I use BrowserStack for cross-browser testing and it really helps me a lot. I don't need to have dedicated environments set up because BrowserStack provides a one-stop solution for different browser versions along with different environments. Plus, its UI is simple and easy to use. I like its vast range of environments available with different browsers, along with better connectivity and a simple and easy-to-use interface that makes things easy to manage. While testing applications' UI features, it's important to test on various platforms and different browser versions. With BrowserStack, I don't need an additional dedicated environment setup. I can easily test my application on mobile (both Android and iOS), web with different browser versions, and different operating systems, which makes life easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Response time can be improved. It's not good compared to a local machine, and I feel this is something that can be improved. but still not much impacting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"seamless mobile testing with API Integration"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

it provide a wide range of iOS and android devices with various version, even the process of uploading the apks or app file is very smooth, even the UI of the device layout is classic and user friendly, it also help me to reduce the testing time as i map the browserstack api over the jenkin job which auto trigger the test part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

we are using the share browser stack , so over the peak times when all are using it, it provide the slowness over the testing, even there is difficult to debug over the devices as the log ui is still to old not able to retrieve ios logs correct mode to read. "Game-Changer for Cross-Browser Testing"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I like how BrowserStack has helped me to enhance my skills by allowing me to test in cloud environments. It's really useful for quickly testing a website across different browsers and devices without setting up a complex local environment, saving a lot of time when checking compatibility issues. I enjoy running tests on real devices in the cloud, and I find the integration with automated testing frameworks really handy, as it reduces the time required for cross-browser testing and improves test coverage. The simple interface makes it easy to quickly start a session, and it speeds up debugging when I need to reproduce issues that only appear in certain environments. I also appreciate how it works well alongside Selenium or Playwright for automated testing, making it easier to test across many environments without maintaining a device lab. The initial setup was straightforward, with clear documentation allowing me to connect it with my testing tools and start running sessions quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes sessions can feel a bit slow or laggy compared to testing locally, especially when interacting with real devices. It would also be nice if session startup times were a bit faster and debugging tools were a little more responsive. Sometimes the session startup can take a bit longer than expected, especially when switching between different browsers or devices. For debugging, having more responsive developer tools and clearer logs during sessions would make troubleshooting easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless, Reliable Cross-Device Testing with BrowserStack"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I’ve been using BrowserStack for a little while now, and it’s quickly become one of those tools I can’t imagine working without. Since I spend a lot of time on testing, dependable cross‑browser and cross‑device coverage is essential, and BrowserStack delivers it in a smooth, straightforward way.

What stands out most to me is how easy it is to start real device testing with virtually no setup. Performance has been consistently solid, and moving between devices or browsers feels almost immediate. It’s also been great for catching UI issues early—especially the kinds of problems that never show up in local environments.

The integration options are another big plus. Connecting BrowserStack to our CI pipeline was simple, and it’s helped improve both the speed and reliability of our test cycles. The documentation is clear, and on the occasions I’ve needed support, the responses have been fast and genuinely helpful.

If I had to call out one area to improve, it would be that real device sessions can sometimes take a little longer to initialize during peak hours. That said, it’s a minor inconvenience compared to the overall value the platform provides.

Overall, BrowserStack has made cross‑platform testing easier, faster, and much more dependable. I’d recommend it to any team looking to strengthen their testing workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

It is not a dislike but an observation: When new OS versions or devices are released, it can sometimes take a little while for them to show up. It’s not a long delay, but it’s noticeable when you’re trying to reproduce issues on the newest device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
