What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

They’ve been very helpful throughout the whole process, from our first message with inquiries all the way through onboarding. They also offer solutions for things we’re trying to do, including some custom items we want to set up, like points for events, etc.

I love that they even provide examples for us to have an idea especially for new beginners and for those who are lost.

And their FAQ was really helpful!

My onboarding Manager was very helpful even till now and I really recommend everyone who is tryong to do loyalty program to use Loyalty Lion.

What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

I like that LoyaltyLion offers a lot of ways to incentivize customers for participating in the loyalty program. The customer service is really great with a very good response and resolution time. The support we receive in understanding how to use the platform to its full capabilities is very rewarding. It's also really easy to get everything up and running, thanks to a dedicated onboarding team and cost specialist team that helps with the setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?

Mainly, its multi-store support. So currently, we have three Shopify stores, LoyaltyLion only allows stores to be configured together if they share the same currency. What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

Since my last review, I’ve been really impressed by how consistently LoyaltyLion keeps improving the platform. The pace of development and regular updates make it clear they’re investing for the long term and staying in step with how quickly eCommerce and retention moves.

What I appreciate most is that new features and enhancements tend to be genuinely useful, not change for change’s sake. They’re clearly listening to customers, tightening up the experience, and making it easier to run a programme day to day without needing extra developer support. The comms around updates are also strong: it’s clear what’s changed, why it matters, and how to use it, which makes adoption inside the business much easier.

Overall, it still feels like a partnership rather than a tool. The product is evolving in the right direction, and it gives me confidence we’ve chosen a platform that will keep getting better as our loyalty strategy matures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?

There’s still very little to criticise from a platform point of view, but one area that would make a real difference for newer programmes is more structured, proactive support after launch.

We’re new to loyalty, and while onboarding support was excellent, it would be hugely valuable to have more regular interaction with our Growth Manager in the early post-launch period. Not just reactive support when we ask, but someone acting as a subject matter expert to help us sense-check decisions, suggest optimisations, and proactively highlight where we could go further.

A light-touch cadence (even for the first 60–90 days) with performance reviews, “here’s what we’re seeing”, and practical recommendations on offers, comms, rewards mix, and next-best tests would accelerate learning and help teams like ours build confidence faster. Once we’re established, we’d likely need less, but early guidance would be a big win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

We love how customizable LoyaltyLion is and how easy it is to use the dashboard and see the analytics. Customization allows us to be flexible and agile with our program, and the analytics help us understand more about our customer behaviors and whether loyalty helps drive more revenue. It would be useful for other people in the business, e.g. our Regional Sales Managers to have a clearer view on which customers have just moved up tier, with some immediate communication sent to them for this, in order to be able to congratulate customers within their region, making it more personal to them. What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

What I like best about LoyaltyLion is the balance of powerful functionality with ease of use. It gives a sophisticated loyalty and rewards engine without requiring a team of developers to manage it. The platform’s customisation options are excellent — we were able to tailor reward rules, earning behaviours and tier structures to fit our brand strategy rather than shoehorn into a generic model.

I also appreciate the built-in analytics and reporting: the dashboards surface meaningful customer loyalty metrics that inform decisions, and the segment insights help drive targeted campaigns that improve retention. From setup through optimisation, the support team has been responsive and proactive, which makes it easier to get value quickly.

What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

I like that LoyaltyLion helps us reward our customers for their loyalty and reduces customer churn. The referral scheme is great for finding new customers while rewarding both referrer and referee. I also appreciate the tiers we can create to reward customers based on their spend, as this helps increase revenue per customer. The platform is easy to use, and the team was helpful with the setup process. Libby, the onboarding manager, was particularly great in helping push through getting the program live with repeat follow-ups. She was quick to respond and help when needed. What do you like best about LoyaltyLion?

Original review in 2024: The loyalty program runs seamlessly and with no work on my part, which, as a small business owner, is a really big deal! Our customers love collecting points and getting rewarded with items they want.

What truly makes Loyalty Lion outstanding, though, is their customer support. When a customer of mine asks something that I can't answer, I'll message and get a response in minutes most of the time. They aren't reading from a script, either - They take the time to look into the situation and provide a good, solid answer that helps me help MY customers. It's one of the very few companies that I ENJOY talking to for support.

Updated in 2026: We've been using Loyalty Lion for several years now, and everything I said in 2024 still stands. I recently contacted Sathiya in LL support using an email address I had from years ago, and he was still there! He answered very quickly with a well-written solution to my question, and then went a step beyond that and both discovered and FIXED a related issue in our setup that I hadn't thought of. In this age of AI agents, being able to talk with a living, thinking, human is a huge selling point for any business, and Loyalty Lion has some of the best. Can you imagine any other company where you could email a support tech three years after talking with them - at an email address that includes their name, rather than a general email - and they're still there, and just as amazing as the first time you spoke with them? What do you dislike about LoyaltyLion?

If there's a downside of using this program, I haven't seen it, and we've been using them for years! Yes, it costs a little bit of money, but the ROI is immediate and using them has profited our business greatly. I've tried others and been unhappy with them, but Loyalty Lion has been outstanding from the beginning and continues to add features that keep them above the competition.
