What do you like best about AutoLeap?

I like the access I have to service information through AutoLeap, and the simple and easy format used to make work orders. The direct parts ordering system is also a plus. It makes AutoLeap valuable because I can do almost everything within one program, instead of having multiple tabs open and navigating a bunch of pages. I can pretty much find everything within. I also like the live help chat on AutoLeap for when I need help figuring something out on the website. The setup was straightforward, and having the live chat was helpful as I got used to it. What do you dislike about AutoLeap?

I do feel the parts ordering aspect can get confusing sometimes and not always work the way I would hope. Sometimes when trying to order parts through AutoLeap, the portal to the supplier's website doesn't always work properly. Another thing I would like to see is the ability to save and print tax reports and other statements as a PDF. For the info we give to the accountants, it only lets us export to Excel. Since we’re a transmission shop, we use the canned jobs and sell the transmission as a complete unit. For inventory purposes, it would be helpful to track the cost and the specific parts we used to build it, without generating a huge parts list for the customer. What do you like best about Connecteam?

What stood out most to me about Connecteam was how well it centralized day-to-day workforce coordination into a single mobile-first platform. In operational environments where scheduling, attendance tracking, task assignments, communication, and field coordination happen simultaneously, switching between separate tools creates unnecessary delays and confusion.

The scheduling and time-tracking features were especially useful because they reduced a lot of manual coordination work. Instead of managing shifts through spreadsheets, calls, or messaging apps, schedules, updates, approvals, and attendance tracking stayed organized inside one system. That improved visibility significantly during busy operational periods.I also liked the mobile-first design. Employees could quickly check schedules, submit forms, respond to updates, and track work hours directly from their phones without needing constant supervision or additional software.

Another strong feature was the task-management workflow. Assigning tasks, monitoring completion status, and tracking field activities became much easier compared to relying on scattered communication channels. The checklist and forms functionality was also practical for operational reporting and process standardization.

The AI-assisted scheduling and communication features were unexpectedly useful as well. Automated scheduling suggestions, AI-generated updates, and speech-to-text workflows reduced repetitive administrative effort and sped up routine coordination tasks.

What do you like best about Jobber?

I like that Jobber is really easy to use both on the computer in the office and on the field, which makes my work much easier. Especially in the field, it is very simple to use, and everything we need is right there. The clients can sign, we can bill, and they can pay on-site, all seamlessly. It's amazing how all the essential information is available, showing what needs to be done. The easy-to-use scheduling dashboard allows us to reassign technicians to tasks and reschedule customers effortlessly. I appreciate how we can set aside customers to be scheduled later without losing track of them. Invoicing is really easy too, with options to send off payments and remind customers via text messages and email confirmations, all integrated nicely. What do you dislike about Jobber?

The only thing I think is the maintenance agreement program. That needs to be honed in a little bit more. It can get confusing if you set it up as a recurring job. It should be a standalone process for just service agreements, so that our customers it's easy to navigate for them, and it's easy for us to know that there's a maintenance agreement customer that's due for service or needs to get their percentage discount as part of the membership. Even first-time users can complete forms without confusion, and that has improved submission rates for our business.

The biggest win for me is having everything in one place. Before this, our job info was scattered across texts, notes, photos, and a couple of spreadsheets. With MotionOps, the crew finally sees the same details I see - job notes, pictures, schedules, all of it. It cuts down on the “what’s the address again?” calls during the day. I wouldn't call it a dislike, but it did take us some time to let go of our old habits. For me, not relying on at least five spreadsheets was a completely new experience. Scheduling and communication were our biggest headaches. Jobs would change last minute, and half the crew wouldn’t get the update. We also had issues with lost job notes and delayed invoicing because we had to chase down details after the fact.

The ability to show our customers every aspect of their system through detailed workflows, videos, pictures, and plenty of supporting details has the biggest impact. It helps clearly explain why we’re recommending specific improvements and enhancements. We also use XOI workflows internally for oversight, parts ordering and receiving, vehicle inspections, and system surveys for new equipment. The Virtual Mentor Center has both pros and cons. Virtual troubleshooting can lead to great advice, but it can also result in a completely wrong diagnosis because it depends heavily on the information my field team provides. The initial setup was also time-consuming, since creating and adjusting workflows requires fully manual input, and we often need to make changes after getting feedback from team members. What do you like best about HVAKR?

I like the simplicity of space creation. The ability to adjust the spaces easily is superior to other load calculation software. Assigning the wall, window, and envelope information makes building load design quick and simple. The PDF sheet insertion is easy and with Architectural background changes it easily updates the background PDF, but keeps a running record of the prior designs.

The load visualization helps troubleshoot anomalies in the space creation and allows for quicker changes to get loads correct.

Zoning of the equipment and equipment systems is simple and making changes on the fly is second to none.

The System design and layout of air terminals and duct routing to ensure fan static pressure to achieve a proper selection. This allows us to be sure that we get accurate information to the manufacturer for equipment selections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HVAKR?

It would be nice to be able to provide a single space to 2 separate zones. There may be instances where a mini-split would be used in a conference room space along with regular space tempering from a roof top unit that is providing the ventilation air.

The navigation of the spaces screen is a little clunky. It would be great to zoom in and out without using ctrl. I could just be using it incorrectly, but this is a minor issue.

Report generation is lacking a little bit. It again could be how I'm using it, but the system information for each unit and possibly a zone map showing the equipment would be a nice feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HVAKR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Trace 700 doesn't have any visualization tools and changes to the spaces is difficult. You are unable to see anomalies prior to running reports.

Trace 3D has the visualization but is even more cumbersome when it comes to creating spaces. There is always the wait time and praying that you have everything set correctly before being able to see any reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Field Nation?

The new filters have been very helpful in getting technicians. We can just easily put the concern or what type of tech we want, and we get the providers who have done the same kind of work. For example -recently we needed a tech to test and troubleshoot fiber cable so while looking for the providers I only had to choose the option best match and I got all the technicians who did fiber cabling before which made our job quite easy as the technician suggestions we had already had fiber cabling history and had all the required equipment which is not easily found. What do you dislike about Field Nation?

The tech removal issue still persists additionally whenever the technicians are not responding to us if we want them to close the WO or anything. FN checks with the tech and give them 48 hours to respond which is not very feasible in serious/urgent situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Field Nation helps me in many ways, like getting a tech to resolve our clients' technical problems, having a clear visuality of the process of the work order, about what the pay should of which particular area which helps me to understand how we can grow our tech base for our very important clients. Route4Me very effectively handled our routing needs for a company with roughly 50-100 employees, coordinating multiple drivers and routes without much complexity. While it gets the job done, there are moments where the interface feels slightly less intuitive compared to the desktop version, especially when making quick changes on the go. Another area for improvement is customization in reporting and analytics. It would be helpful to have more flexible reporting options or easier ways to extract detailed insights tailored to specific business needs. Lastly, occasional GPS inaccuracies or delays in real-time updates can happen, which can impact tracking precision in some cases.
